One of the many cool things about this software is that sometimes it will say that Ground and Clearance are combined on the same frequency - even if the airport normally has a dedicated Clearance frequency.
Your flying an ifr approach but your on a vfr flight. You should have told the tower when first contacted your intention to land. If you wanted to practice the rnav into the airport you would have requested it at that time. This most likely would have avoided all the confusion.

Small update: Sayintentions currently only works when flying in the US region. Not anywhere in the world.

So you see the other players in the air and in the ground in sayintentions? And does it steer the player around them? Do you ever encounter other players? Thanks! Nice video!
The traffic is via FS Traffic or Multiplayer. SI will see traffic in the air but not vector you around them. It does not see traffic on the ground. All things coming with a future release as they inject traffic. You will hear other players based on the settings you select in the sim.
I'm not a fan of the canned chatter. On frequency you should be listening to other aircraft for deconfliction reasons as safety. If you hear traffic from Johannesburg or ground give taxi instructions to an aircraft 12 states away it takes away from the immersion.
The ATIS was about to give you the altimeter but you checked off to early, lol.
All has been changed a few weeks ago. Now available is recorded multiplayer voices from the area you are in as well of course live voices. You can still enabled canned if you wish, but I have since disabled since the recorded is so good.
This was funny. Setting the altimeter after you get a takeoff clearance and taking your sweet time. Only in a video game
