Nice! the same happened to my 10 speed hub as well, the ultegra cassette didn't fit onto the hub. Ended up getting a HG 11/34 cassette for it to work. This video will be beneficial to many others that encounter the same issue :)
Cool, I haven't got time to get the R1 installed yet. But just FYI, it is a hybrid version meaning the hydraulics are within the unit itself and still be using mechanical cables to trigger braking action. Very unlike full hydraulic brakes, but not foreseeing issues. Fngers crossed. 😁🤞
Hi, I own a 16 inch foldie too, rear Deraileur is always rubbing my wheel when shifted to the lowest gear(most inner cassette) can you make a video for more Deraileur details😃
Hey Nord, thank you for the question. At this point, it'll hang loose. After I upgraded my cranks and chain ring, I had to remove the tensioner. Have some solutions in mind, will try out if it bothers me in time to come. 😁
I think it'll be good as long as we're on short cage. Been riding this for about a month and had more than 80km on them, so far no issues with ground clearance. 😉
Hello there, it's a brand called pass quest. Mentioned it in slightly greater detail in my video on the cranks, might want to check it out. Hope this helps!
@@WisteriaBerlitz Yes, I think it may require a long cage rear derailleur and would touch the ground. Quite frankly, I think Singapore's terrain shouldn't require 36T (in general terms of course)?
Wonderful upgrade. Tks Fred

Hi. Does your 105 shifter down shift index finger. Not so smooth when shift?
Mine a bit not so smooth. The thumb shift down is ok.
Can't wait for your Juin Tech R1 upgrade to see compatibility or issues upgrading to hydraulic brakes (eg cables)
Planning to get Deore or SLX

Hi, don't mind ask what brand of cassette you using?

the derailleur pulley cage is so long it almost touches the ground
What wheelset are u buying for the avro?
Thanks for sharing! Just curious on when folding. Will the chain hang loose or issues especially when the need to fold frequently? Thanks 🙏🏼

Does the RD cage touch the floor? It looks like only millimetre away from the video.

Hi, may I know, what chainring are you using?

Yes it does. I am browsing Afluen right now.
@@Arsenic_Singapore.Official1998 cool, happy shopping! 😁👍
What's size is the cassette?
Hey, the one installed is 11-34t. The one that didn't fit was 11-28t, will look to try that again down the road on my new wheelset. Hope it works. 😁👍
@@fredphua do you think a 36T would work? 🤔
Maybe too big, rear derailleur touch floor

@@fredphua will feel better on some climbs and overhead bridge 😂
Maybe I just need to make my crank chainring to 50T
