Yeah, cause she was literally no one last time. How the heck did this happen. The whole point was that she was a nobody who became a little bit less of a nobody. Not a star. Idk, maybe I’m wrong.
In 7th grade, I was in a small girls' ensemble in choir and in the spring we did "Can't Back Down." With the choreography. Needless to say.....cringe. EDIT: Great to know over 1.8K of you like my middle school cringe. I'll add to it; for the concerts, we had a choir t-shirt and that year it was this bright neon-green and on it was the phrase "To sing with us, you gotta be good. To compete with us, you gotta be tough. To beat us, you gotta be kidding." ....We weren't even in competitions. So we had to wear that. And then for "Can't Back Down," we had to wear that AND a black, fingerless, fishnet glove. Not even two of them, just a single black fingerless fishnet glove on one arm. I swear, each time I cringe at it, it takes six months minimum off of my lifespan.
when i was in 8th grade we had two choirs due to the size, so we did "It's On". With one choir push the others off the stands and taking over the show. I feel your cringe
ok but they completely changed the way the did music in the two movies camp rock one focused on incorporating music INTO the movie while camp rock two just had them do musical numbers that had nothing to do with the movie lol
Yes! That’s why I prefer the first movie. The music was part of the story and it made sense when they did musical numbers because we assume that they practice before.
I agree actually! It didn’t feel like an actual “camp.” Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like introducing me was the only good song on here, I can actually see someone who likes their crush writing a cute song like that. Everything else though…we don’t talk about that. Well wait a minute, Tear it Down was actually pretty good and definitely better than the song Camp Rock’s song (I can’t even remember it.)
Isn’t that the idea of a musical? Music existed in the first movie as a performance piece. In the second movie, it functioned more like a traditional musical in many places.
yeah, i liked some nick Jonas scenes, he gave something good to the movie, i put his scenes there cause i liked them, they weren't like really cringe :)
Imagine being a kid who doesn’t speaks English and the movie in Spanish doesn’t translate the songs, so you just see the teens dancing intense but with no context
Camp Rock 1 was more... authentic. It actually had a storyline. Camp Rock 2 just wanted to focus on the celebrities and songs. The actual story was a backseat. I remember there was a scene where Demi literally asked the kids if they could not be in the competition. Like even as a kid I found that pretty weird.
One thing you can never criticise this movie on is that it follows the forever pledge that every single Disney Channel movie has. At least ONE character must have a fedora.
the best part of this movie was Nick singing introducing me like if a guy did that to me I would fall for him instantly plus it's so cute qofagwigjnfsdgoeoidsgj
-Take my advice and never get a girlfriend -I don't think that will be a problem I just realized how many creepy undertones that line has, sheesh, what were they thinking?
1:47 literally my reaction to this entire movie. I feel like this entire film was just a ploy for Disney Channel to advertise Demi and Joe’s romance. I mean come on, they were the power couple of Disney Channel, but to make a movie just to advertise it just shows how ridiculous Disney Channel really is behind the scenes.
can’t believe this was my favorite disney movie back in the day. but i honestly feel like it was because of my massive crush on nick jonas (and the songs were catchy af!!!)
I'm cringing hard but my soul keeps defending it on my my mind "It's a fucking musical, they're supposed to sing and dance out of nowhere" I loved this so much when I was a kid LMAO
The Jonas brothers were actually pretty entertaining. I can see why Nick's acting career took off more than the others, though. He's a little better than them.
I never noticed how aggressive the dancing was in this movie 😭
Sis really made a whole earthquake
when i was a kid i thought everything they did was sooo cool, now i think is only cringe af

Kevin Jonas was such a comedian in this movie, why didn't he get into acting long-term
yeah right, i think he could've done a good job at acting
It's not too late you never know lol
He looks like a young mark ruffalo
i can’t be the only one who thinks about that fact that mitchie has litterly gone to the camp one year and is now the head of everything

I think they skipped a couple years of them going to Camp Rock
@@yuh1926 no they definitely didn't.

literally everyone in middle school 💀
When camp star wiped the floor with camp rock, it was truly unexpected for a Disney movie.
I agree
When I was a kid that moment gived me some Revenge of the Sith vibes
Not gonna lie, the Jonas brothers were the best actors in this film.

Camp Rock 2 is a musical, the first one was not
I don’t know how Camp Star didn’t laugh at them when they came trotting in at 0:51😂.
They tried to hold back their laughters I think ahahhah
Pay attention to their faces, some of them were trying to not laugh🤣
They were shitting their pants at the sight of their terrifying enemy doing a war dance approaching the battlefield
They should call this the hokey pokey camp Rock style
“TROTTING” 😂😭 perfection
the movie may be cringy but the soundtrack is amazing
FAX
True I was literally singing along.
@@lindoRage Wow, you were LITERALLY singing along? As opposed to *figuratively* singing along? Thanks for making that clear.
I'd say, better than the first one
Facts i always sing along all the time ngl

that's so true, their voice is amazing

the girl is so pretty too
Ever notice that 50% of the cringeness is because of the choreography, like whoever picked the choreo should get FIRED
camp rock 2 shitted on camp rock 1. the soundtrack was EVERYTHING
you're right

The whole thing shouldn't have been made
If you find this movie cool before but cringey now then that means we finally have matured and understand complex storylines 😂😂
I will, however, maintain that Kevin Jonas is unironically the best part of this movie
exactly
1:41 me laughing but realizing Demi can do that too
exactly, demi can even do way more than that
The dancing in this movie was so VIOLENT like DAMN it looks like they’re popping joints everytime they move so aggressively 😭😭😭
😆😆😆😆

As cringey as this movie was, you gotta admit that….
1. Demi’s voice was amazing
2. “Wouldn’t change a thing” and “introducing me” were absolute bops
Demi is such an amazing vocalist I’m not even going to deny it they have something special in them!
She's another one of those that's been trained by the church and classical music. Doesn't surprise me.
3:56 lol that walk is so relatable, you know the exam was a disaster but at least you don't have to worry for a few months
Even Demi self reacted to this a year ago and was shock on how awkward was it ahahhahhaha
