    I will never attempt to do this before I watch you. You make it look within the realm of my possibility 💝. You remind me to slow down and enjoy the process. I think I need to stick with dots for awhile. I have 90 bottles of paint and all the tools, so I see many projects in my future. Thank you. I sew, crochet, watercolor, embroider, collage and fountain pen drawings, but this is the first art that has gotten me up in the early morning to “dot.” I’m totally enjoying it. 👍👏👏👏👍

    Do you have a video showing how to make these perfectly round Rocks? I think attempts at mandelas fail because I’m just using regular Rocks. I’d appreciate a tutorial on how to make the Rock in the first place. BTW I like the larger stones although I do use some 2-3” ones. They are not my favorite, I like 5” if possible.

    I love the work that U do, & I enjoy it very much, I just wish that U'd slow down some & make Ur teachings longer so that we could join in & do it W/U step by step instead of having to start & stop the Vlog every few mins.
    I know for me it would be so much more enjoyable. U have such a great talent I just want it to last longer than 6 mins. more like 50 or 75 mins.
    I do see that most of Ur viewers don't speak English so maybe I'm just the oddball out here wanting these wonderful lessons to last longer...

    If I want to paint my mandala on a mug to give as a gift. What paint do you recommend so that my work is not destroyed by washing? Or can I use the usual acrylic and put some type of coating or sealant on it to protect the work from dishwashing? And by the way, congratulations, your designs are beautiful.

    Lady, you continually amaze me…….this is so stunning and beautiful……the design, the colors…..love, love, love!!!! You make perfection look easy, I think you are one who is a natural at this art!! How long have you been creating this way and what made you interested in starting? I’ve only used color dust as a top dot or base color, so now I want to try it this way. Does it tend to need more than one coat? Thank you for sharing your amazing work of art!!,

      Thank you so much! I have been painting for 2 years now! The dust does need a second coating! Again thank you for the kind words!

    Oh Amanda….this was so beautiful!!!! You are a master dotter and I love your work. Two questions: how long have you been dotting and are you a painter as well? And I see that you used medium to change the color of your paint. I am a new dotter and I have been using white paint to get different shades of color. Which is better? Thank you SO much for these beautiful tutorials!! 💕💕💕

      Oh thank you! My name is Rafaela! I have been dotting for two years. I use medium just to thinner the paint and make it not dry so fast! I also mix white to change the color tone!

    What type of rocks are these? Are they natural or artificial? If artificial how to make these rocks?

    • @AmandalaRocks

      They are rocks made from plaster with silicone molds. Check my most recent videos.. I explain everything with more details. 😍

    Found the molds (thanks) but what material do you use? How long do they take to make? Didn’t find the plaster.

      The Process to make your art stones/rocks -
      You will need to purchase the casting powder separately to make your stones/rocks - Many casting plasters work well and I like using Ultracal 30 (highest strength gypsum - it is harder, heavier and better for painting than plaster of paris) - available online in most parts of the world. Sorry I don't sell it. This mold uses 250grams or 9oz of Ultracal 30 powder per art stone made.
      Mix the Gypsum powder with water following the directions provided with the mixture.
      Pour into the mould.
      Wait approximately 6 hours or overnight.
      This is the fun bit! - Turn out your art stone/rock. It comes out beautifully smooth!
      Allow to dry properly for about a week.
      So much joy painting it!!
      There's a downloadable data sheet available on my website with all the mixing quantities and art stones dimensions. www.happydottingcompany.com

    Lovely video - thanks so much! What is the tool you're using to "stretch out" the dots into "longer teardrops"?

    • @AmandalaRocks
      @AmandalaRocks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, its a tool that I couldnt find online, its got a metal tip, just like a nail. but you can use any dotting tool, the smaller the tip the better. thank you for asking and watching!

    I'm not able to draw seooshes properly, please guide easy method,

    • @AmandalaRocks
      @AmandalaRocks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's just a question of practice. Adding enough paint on the starting point makes it easier. Using the thinner tipped dotting tool just start dragging the paint. it may be easier if you draw the swoosh with a pencil as a guide.
