Just got my adapt bow yesterday. Set it up and shot it a good bit. It is a lower priced bow that shoots great. It is a perfect blend of quiet, speed, and shootability. This bow is a fantastic deal for the features you get and the money you spend! I have been bow hunting for 40 years and this is a top choice for a real hunting bow without all the extra hype. love the content
I shoot a bit older Bear LS2 (Legend Series) compound, super compact and a great bow. I also shoot a Bear Supermag 48 recurve at 45 lbs, and my go-to; Bear Montana longbow at 50 lbs. The Montana is basically silent, and throws arrows like throwing a ball.
I wish the give-away with THP was available in Canada, I tried to sign up but was unavailable to us. Us Canadians love THP, lots of public land for us: similar style of hunting we do.
@chris fitch- How is the experience thru these first few months? Aside from THP fans, I hear mainly bad reviews of the Adapt... just looking for so real info...
@@casanovafrankenstein8875 I still hold the same opinion on this bow. I am not one to hold back on reviews. Years ago I had a broadhead testing website and always told it like it was. That said this bow has a very smooth draw, decent speeds and is very "shootable' Its priced lower because cheaper materials are used throughout the bow. Mostly in the limbs, they are solid glass limbs, not the high end laminated carbon that flagship bows use. sold glass is fine for the average hunter and I have several older hoyts with similar limbs that are still going strong. Shoot reasonable weight arrows and this thing should last a long time. My only complaint is I do have some modest wear on the serving where it wraps around the cam. I just served over it to add a little more protection. I am sure higher end replacement strings and cables will take care of that. Overall I am still impressed with what I got for what I paid.
@@chrisfitch2905 Pay attention to the bow string where it passes through the cable slide...I have had four of these bows in olive over the past three or four weeks and they shred the string after 50 to 80 shots from the bow...Due to returns for replacements my Daughter and I have yet to get beyond FAILED paper tuning with these disasters...The two we currently have, have been returned to Bear for their assessment as my Ohio season passes me by...
@@overwatch3950 The first thing I typically do is replace the factory cable slide with a Simms Teflon slide, that may be why I have no noticeable string wear in that areal. That said I will keep an eye on it.
You guys have helped reignite my husband's love of bow hunting. After a heart attack and shoulder surgery it was tough for a minute. But he's back!
Glad he's back, but if you have to in the future, it's okay to use a crossbow if his shoulder should ever become troublesome again.
I had a H/A in 2009... I may be slower, but I still go.
Cool fake story
I'll pray the archers prayer. Tell that man good luck and dont beat his self up too much!!
@@rickstark85 mind your manners.
Hey THP, I’m from Ary Ky, outside of Hazard Ky. I just literally lost all of my hunting stuff in a record breaking flood that happened 2 days ago 7-28-22. I’m trying to watch hunting videos and things to keep my mind clear until FEMA and insurance companies come and evaluate the loss. But It would really help me a lot. It’s crazy how fast water moves and it goes where it wants to go and destroys everything. Anyways, the water got into my garage and destroyed all of my hunting items, 4 wheeler, Nissan SUV, almost got my home as well. Please keep my family and the others in your prayers, as many have lost their lives and are a lot worse than me. God bless you guys for helping people !!!Love your videos and enjoy the tips and tactics. Thanks for the opportunity. Thanks !!!!
New hunter here. Last year was my first year and I learned a lot!! I watched just about every single video haha walked through cabelas with THP sweatshirt on and got like 5 compliments before I left the store LOL seriously have helped me so much. I didn't grow up with anyone showing me how to hunt so Im a late bloomer and you guys have been an integral part of my hunting journey so far and I really appreciate all of your hard work getting these vids put together. Can't thank y'all enough!!! Really means alot to me and has inspired me to film my own hunts! 🤜🤛🤌🤝
20 years from now these guys we will be looking back on these videos just like old promos hunting videos… and we are gonna love it
I bought a PSE Uprising in 2020 and it’s super easy to adjust and to sight in. It rates high across the board. You can be a beginner or a pro and you would love this bow! I’m 43 and been bow hunting with PSE since I was 12! I did try other bows! I had a Pearson and a Matthews but still ended up going back to PSE! Love y’all’s videos and the fact that you hunt public land!
Enjoy you guys. I' ve started bow hunting in 1973. Almost 50 years
Many many changes in all those years.
Most of my hunting has been in Ga.
But I have hunted from Texas to North Carolina.
Like I said I really enjoy your videos
Keep up the good hunting
Coming back to this video after owning mine for 6 months. First bow I’ve purchased since 2009. For the price point this thing is hard to beat for an out of the box setup. I’ve been shooting great groups out to 70. And feel really comfortable shooting 50 and in which is a great feeling heading towards season. My only complaint is the string stop is a bit noisy and I replaced with a $10 Amazon string stop and some string stabilizers that’s definitely silenced it a bunch. Other than that small complaint anyone thinking of taking the plunge for this bow I’d highly recommend!
I love the faith in the editor. We will link it in the description 12 times. Lol most of the channels don’t link what they say but y’all do.
Thanks 4 the opportunity yall !
My favorite hinting channel hands down....the real deal!
It has been a while but I was on Bear's Pro Staff for several years. No one makes a better bow and at this price point they have a real winner.
I stumbled upon the channel a few weeks ago after my brother gave me an old relic that my uncle had given us when we were in highschool. It's a Whitetail II just like the ebay budget special you guys featured a while back. I'll be getting a new string and full inspection to make sure it's still safe to shoot, then probably just goof around in the yard with it.
I just entered the drawing for this ADAPT with 2 days to spare! HAHA!
Thanks for reminding me of an old passion for slinging arrows down range! Keep up the good work.
I absolutely love what THP brings to hunting! You guys are the reason I bought my first bow 2 years ago. Thank you for everything you guys do and please just keep doing what you guys are doing!!!
Aaron and Zach are naturally salesmen.. I'm super excited for the team. Thankful for you guys. I have learned more than I could have every imagined from THP. The hunting community has changed in the last five years. I have had more hunting buddies bc of the your guys exciting videos. Congrats on the Bow!!!
I’ve been watching you guys since I took my hunters safety course in 2020. So great seeing fellow Iowa hunters. I started off shotgun hunting, but watching all your bow videos inspired me to get into archery. When I found out you guys worked on the Bear Adapt, I wanted this bow. Unfortunately, so does everyone else! I ended up with the Bear Paradox after hearing Aaron really liked it, looking forward to Spring Turkey this year! Thanks for keeping the sport so engaging!
That’s a great looking bow. Lightweight, versatile, adjustable, and for the average hunter. You guys did a great job working with Bear Archery! Keep up the good work!
Bought my bear a few years ago after getting into your show. Had a bear truth 2 when I was younger. Have since watched every episode. Keep it up the fans love the whitetail hunts and turkey tour.
I love how when I started watching you guy were struggling to do this show and now you are making it. I want to thank you for all the tips I have gotten from you over the years!! Keep it up boys
I like the single cam bow. Very forgiving.
I've had several,
One problem...single cam bows WILL cause lower bus cable wear where it contacts the cam (not the idler wheel up top)
And when it gets severe...the serving WILL separate on the bus cable so carry dental floss (waxed) for remote camp repairs!
This looks like an amazing bow! I haven’t been hunting in several years because my kids were so young. Now that my son is old enough to archery hunt with me, it’s to upgrade from my Matthew’s SQ2. I’ve made the jump to extreme FOC and it seems that this bow will perform much better than my 2002 Matthew’s.
Been watching yall for the last 3years. Love the content and all the knowledge yall pass on to us. I've completely changed how I hunt form watching you guys. Thanks again for all the great content. Can't wait for more.
i picked up my first bow becausw of you guys, Bear Species. I have been busying my butt all summer to get ready. Thank you guys for getting me to fall back inove with hunting!
I just bought the bow and I fell in love with it. But my sight came flying off when I actually went to go shoot it. Like I just bought the bow today and this is my first ever bow. I’m excited to see where my future goes. Considering I’m a teenager learning how to shoot bows is very exciting. Thank you guys for making this bow and this amazing content
That bow looks awesome!! I’m shooting a 17 year old mission x3 and the adapt looks like a 20 year newer version of it. Can’t wait till it hits a bow shop near me. Been watching you guys for years and recently learned a lot about scouting and stalking from Zack on the podcast. It’s my new favorite podcast when I’m at work. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait for October!
That’s pretty awesome THP! I remember several years ago watching your videos and seeing the Bear bows you guys used. I love that you made it affordable for people. Hunting is expensive to get started. But well worth the experiences.
Congrats guys! This is my first year archery hunting, thanks to you guys. You do a great job promoting the sport and make it easier understand how to get out and do it
You all have helped me so much with my hunting. I would never have gotten my first deer last year without you
I’ve been hunting with a crossbow for a few years due a torn rotator cuff but I’ve got an old Bear compound that still shoots. You guys have made me want a newer cow! Thanks and keep the videos coming
I’m not as young as I used to be, but after being rebuilt,, I’m still hunting,, starting back into compound! I totally enjoy your videos!
I’ve been contacted but text saying that they was Zach asking for my email and address. Just checking because like y’all said ,, scammers are out there. Some comments have your logo/heart but phishing is rampant
you guys have finally pushed me to making the step up from my crossbow to a compound. Looks like I'll be shooting a THP bow soon! Love the content and the passion you all have for hunting and the outdoors.
You guys have ignited the fire for me and the last few years I’ve worked harder and walked much deeper than I ever would have to find the meat! Unfortunately the last year has been brutal for me and this bow would be a heaven send to keep my hunting season going this year! Keep it up fellas your doing great work out there!!!!
Been watching you guys for a while now and have decided to give saddle hunting a try. I have always shot Bear bows, but haven’t bought a new one since purchasing my Motive 6.
That's awesome... Been shooting the Bear Agenda 6 for years and I love it but it is time to upgrade.
It drives me crazy how difficult it is to tune my bow. It can take many visits at the shop to get it done right. I think it's a real smart idea for bow makers to make easy to tune bows like this one does. Congrats on your new bow guys!
My husband is your biggest fan since day 1!! He watches every video!! Keep up the good work!
Awesome!!! Would love to give that thing a try. Hope y’all have an amazing season.
My first bow was (and still currently is) a Bear Cruzer G2. It was the right pricepoint for me just getting into hunting and I've taken several deer with it. Practice practice practice. It shoots really well.
Have teased the idea of buying a compound, but not sure where to start.
Still shooting a Bear br33 and love it! Great opportunity guys! We appreciate everything you do for us!!
OH Yah! I am running a fever now! Bow fever! Bear in Sept. Deer in Mid Oct. Till Then it's watching you guys and target shooting. I am 57 and thanks to you guys I started saddle hunting last year. I love it!
I used to have a single pin sight and changed it out for a 3 pin. Just because there is more guess work if the deer is moving a lot.
The bow looks to have turned out great. That’s a lot of work to put out, much appreciated. Also appreciate sharing setups. I’ve been struggling with what I think is the right call on elk, effective range for me is 50, 40 without a perfect setup. Apollo 250 spine at 557 gr - thanks for the sanity check! Either I’m not crazy or we both are.
First year hunting, looking to pickup archery as a true appreciation on what it takes to harvest meat for the family and to teach my 2 year old son when he comes of age. Being a first generation hunter, I've accepted the challenge and research more and more everyday. Looking forward to this journey!
My 5 yr old daughter loves watching your videos. Keep up the great work you guys do and I have used so e of your suggestions and it has worked out for me in the deer woods
Can't wait for September 15 in South Carolina. I been using a 1994 Browning Compound Bow for the past 20 years and still going strong 💪
Almost got had by the scammers on your channel in the comments a couple month ago. They said I won a new hoyt bow and wanted me to pay shipping. Luckily I've been following you guys from the beggining and new you guys were in with bear archary so giving away a hoyt bow would be kinda silly lol. Nice job on the new bow guys it looks sick!!
I heard Zach mention that it feels light. I looked at the specs on it at bear and it didn't give the bows weight(that i seen) but thats one reason I've kept the bow I've had for years is because all these other bows feel pretty heavy and I like my bows weight. Either way I plan on buying yalls bow towards the end of August when I get my bonus from work🤣🤣
Trying to buy a bow soon. Mowing yards has been my "go fund me" for the summer
I did the same thing. I'd like to see specs on what the bow weighs.
Love your content and your attitudes! My granddaughter and I love watching you guys! Another generation of bowhunting! Keep it up guys.
So glad to see y'all staying true to the cause!! Can't wait to watch the transformation at the new cabin!!!
Looks/sounds like a nice bow, like that it is affordable AND seems to include some key items like the single cam system and smooth easy draw for hunting. Zac mentioned it being "light" feeling, but I don't see a advertised bare bow weight on the Bear site, can you get us a bare bow weight? I like a light set up, and bows seem to be getting heavier in recent years. Looking forward to taking it for a ride at my local shop! Thanks!
Thank you for all you do!! Your knowledge has helped making bow hunting come alive again. It seemed it was a dying sport. Here in Minnesota we hunt from mid September- end of December….looking forward for more videos using the Tethrd system.
My favorite part of the whole show was bringing in the two closers Ted and Greg at the very end that was classic but if someone had not watched your show for years and been used to the personalities they never understand but I love it you guys rule Rock on
Good job consulting on the bow. I appreciate all of the time and effort that you all put into helping make hunting more accessible to everyone. I especially appreciate your collaborations with other hunting experts (The Hunting Beast, Ranch Fairy, Shane Simpson Hunting, Seek One, and vendors, etc). I have learned more about hunting from all of you in the last 24 months than I had in the 24 years prior to finding you. Thank you.
You guys are the reason my wife wanted to get into bow hunting with me and us watching you guys has really Improved our strategy for hunting public land here in South Carolina where the public land is very pressured
My brother came over and shot bows at my house and took a liken to archery. So we got him the bear adapt. He loves it and its extremely reliable and relatively easy to setup. Good job guys also the colors are amazing
You guys are the reason I wanted to get into bow hunting. I love the excitement and knowledge you provide!
I shot a Bear/Jennings carbon extreme years ago that had a very similar grip. To date I have never had another bow drip feel the good in my hand!
Just got the ADAPT. I love it so far. I have a mule deer hunt coming up in September and I am completely lost when it comes to arrow type/weight and broadhead weight/type. Any suggestions?
Since your content has started coming out you guys have opened my mind to change my setups. In turn I’ve seen a lot more deer. Keep up the good work guys
I’ve been shooting a Martin for a while now and love it. PSE before that with the big overdraw rests. 5” I think lol. Greg may remember those. Bear’s becoming an industry standard seems like. Thinking about switching to a completely different setup after seeing many of y’all’s videos. Good stuff fellas. Keep it up.
Got mine today! Set up with a trophy Ridge react! Need a stabilizer and quiver then I’m ready to go!
Love watching you guys! Keep the passion and content coming!
As a public land guy growing up it is nice to see your processes in going hunting on public land. Best of luck this upcoming season can’t wait to see it unfold.
My first compound bow was a Bear Whitetail Hunter back in the day. I enjoy the videos and hard work.
What's up THP bear hunting bow was my first bow I to kill deer with .. it was old back then when I got it.. I couldn't shoot over 20 yards with it ..so I just learned how to get in real close with it .. I wouldn't change anything it taught me how to hunt.. just bought a used bear bow last year.. gave it to a kid in the church just to get him off the video games trying to help him get his first deer this year.. y'all keep up the love for hunting public land . Thanks
We have tons of ur guys merchandise love it ordered under my wife Elizabeth great stuff wear it everywhere!
Been a big fan of the channel since the beginning! I’ve been shooting a Beat Encounter for years…and had the biggest (for me) hunt planned for this October in Michigan’s UP. It’s always been hard getting time off from work as a teacher but this was going to be the year. I started getting everything setup only to discover that my bow was damaged. Not sure if I can replace it before the start of the season so fingers crossed on this giveaway. Keep up the good work!
This is time for me to have now again. I haven’t been able to shoot bow for a shoulder problem. Now I am recovering from that and I can have bow. I am wishing the best season for all of you. I can’t wait 💪💪💪💪
Just bought this bow today first one sold out of the store. Can’t wait to try it out broken collar bone can’t heal fast enough
Zach I also use the Trophy Ridge React One Pro and I love it. So easy to sight in.
Recently( last year) got back into archery. Inspired to go completely mobile with a saddle. I also would like to do an out of state public land hunt, keep up the great content. Thanks a lot, may God bless each one of you.
I bought the bear vast this last year and it’s great! At full draw weight 70 ish pounds and a 650 grain arrow it puts the hurt on some deer
Cool looking bow. Love the enthusiasm for the less complicated single cam system. Too bad I just got my new Whitetail Legend otherwise I might have given the Adapt some consideration. Though I like the slightly shorter ata of the WTL. I am going to try my luck with mountain turkey with it; gotta keep it maneuverable so every inch matters. Keep up the good work and keep on learning new things (arrow tuning and FOC etc). It's good stuff. 👍
Just wanted to say I love what you guys are doing. I listen to your channel daily while I’m driving. Keep up the great work.
32 ATA is the sweet spot for bow length. Switch out the cable slide for a Saunders roller guard or Bear actually updated the Adapt with their roller guard. The Adapt is like the Mathews Creed which was my favorite bow of all time. I do wish they would get back to like realtree edge camo pattern.
looks like a nice rig. love the solo cam idea... i have a mathews swithback and the draw cycle is smoother then some of the new bows with dual cam. can t wait to the 2022 season reel... good luck
guessing this is a scam. i was pumped up for a min...
Awesome, glad you guys got a bow deal and it seems to be a very nice setup! Good luck on the upcoming season!
Awesome guys, thank you for the opportunity, and good luck this season. 💯👊🦌
So happy you guys are able to help the average hunter build to be more efficient and successful!! It’s amazing!
Bear is killing it, i glad they listened. The throw back camos, new Razerhead Broadheads.. 💯
Sweet setups!!! Definitely going to check them out comin up! Best of luck during the deer tour!
My local bow shop has them already. They are selling a full package with arrows quiver sight stabilizer whisker biscuit release and points!
I just switched to Bear this season and I am happy with my decision. The Refine EKO is smooth and stable. Love it! The Trophy Ridge React Trio is so easy to sight in and the pins are bright! Also got the Tuffhead 150gr evolution and man they are sharp right out of the box.
I love your channel. That's a really nice bow set-up. I've been shooting a Bear Instinct... Tells you how bad I need an upgrade😀
Just got them in at work today! My new favorite bow to recommend and hope to put my boyfriend in it!! Smooth draw and a light feel which is absolutely awesome with me at a 26 inch draw and 58 lb pull! Congrats guys on an awesome bow!!!
I just bought my first bow ever about a month ago. A Bear Alaskan, have any of y'all ever shot one?? I like it so far but obviously it's all I know lol. Over the moon freakin excited for the coming months. Deer season opens next week here in south Florida!!!!
I already entered and have fingers crossed 😋🤗 I've been watching you guys since Midwest whitetails and live how you and your crew have progressed
Sounds like an amazing little bow. Can't wait for this season of THP!!
Dang I’m so pumped I’m in need of an update and what better way than to have it stamped with my favorite group of guys to watch
Love the channel guys! Been watching for a few years now and can’t get enough! Love the merchandise as well! Keep on keeping on! If y’all are ever in eastern South Dakota let me know and stop by for coffee and company👍🏻
I watch all your videos and the hunting you do is similar to what I have ben raised to do. Swamp, water hunting. Thanks for your content.
Awesome guys. Been watching yall since the Facebook lives. Glad to see you boys movin on up
I bought the 2022 Bear Alaskan this year! Absolutely love it!! Love what you guys do, keep it up! Thank you
Shot one yesterday at shop was pretty nice
Entered! Good luck everyone! Can’t wait till the first week of September “Dove opener” and the kick off for my hunting season! I got my doe tags in yesterday and slowly starting to feeling the itch … shoot even the leaves are turning colors already
The The Hunting Public Bear Adapt looks like a great bow!!! I like the solid wall adjustment and the new grip. Being able to draw the bow smoothly is important when clutch time comes to shoot that big buck.
just bought the Adapt today. Getting it setup as we speak excited to shoot!
Y’all guys r great an help me a lot with my hunting an if I got a issue or trying to figure an area out I go to ur play list an get the perfect answers
Bought a bear resurgence ld and love the way it shoots. Going to hunt off ground all the time and really looking forward to it!
Congrats on all your success I put all your teachings to better my hunting and produced a really nice public land buck this last year if you guys are ever headed back to MN for some hunting this fall let me know.
Congratulations guys, beautiful bow! I'd definitely hunt with that bow any day. Wish ya'll the best.
Great content guys! You show all of us what is possible without all the gimmick products and really remind us to get back to the roots and be better outdoorsmen.
Been looking at getting a saddle setup, hope you pull my name! Oh and nice drop on the Sturgis rally! The bikes are here already! The deer woods provide some quite time for the next couple weeks.
