- We stayed at Conrad London St James for 3 nights and although the location was perfect, there were a lot of cons to our hotel stay. It started out great, but each day, it got worse and worse.

Yeah, we agree. Conrad is usually fantastic! That's why we were so disappointed with our stay.

That was just our experience, but according to other viewers who commented on this video, they had much better rooms. So if you decide to stay here, I would just make sure it's a room that you like :)
I’ve stayed twice before and headed over Tuesday. It’s a great hotel. Do not hesitate in staying here. I’ve never seen this shower/tub configuration. I think it must be in the twin rooms.
Glad to hear that others are having a better experience with their rooms. I guess we got one of their weird rooms with the shower/tub config.
Just to let you guys know that it’s a British Law as to why the power sockets can’t be located in the bathroom only shaver sockets due to their lower amperage btw! Such a shame you had a less of a great stay. I had a great stay here.
Thanks for letting us know! I believe someone else commented something similar about the socket so now we know why. Seems like we had really bad luck with our stay. Glad you had a better experience!
I stayed here 4 times and always had a separate shower room with a full door. I didn’t even know they had a shower/tub combo. And it was not an upgraded room. It was 2nd floor facing the inside like this room. Sorry you didn’t get the separate shower. As for the hair dryer, I believe it is building code that prevents them from putting a hair dryer outlet inside the bathroom or within so many feet of sinks or tubs. Great review!
I wonder why our shower did not have a full door - I'm sure they've gotten complaints about that before... they really need to fix that. Good to know about the hair dryer and building code. Thanks for letting us know!
Oh no! I just reserved a 6 night stay, non-refundable. I wish I'd watched this *before I booked. I hope the management sees your video and takes your constructive criticisms to heart. Thanks for posting.
Well we might have just gotten a bad room. One of the viewers in the comments said they had stayed there 4 times and never had issues, so most likely you will be fine. Like we mentioned, everything else was great about the hotel! Have a great time :)

Do NOT worry about staying here. It's really good. These two are moaning about things that really aren't issues.
I just stayed here and it was fabulous. Your main complaint about the shower is ridiculous. You're basically saying "we PREFER the small handset shower" and are then amazed that the shower head not made for using as the main shower flooded your floor! What a surprise! Just use the shower head that you're supposed to use and the floor won't flood. Sorry ladies but this was just a whinge. Get a life.
