I think Rockstar said they played Miami Vice in their youth as it must have had some influence, but Postman Pat plays more like a proto-GTA than Miami Vice ever did.

There is a DOS miami vice game thats very bad, worse than the CPC/C64 version
I'm not sure I even want to think about this concept. Which means I'll inevitably try it out at some point.
