ArmA 3 - Speed of Sound Mod Showcase - Realistic Sound Mod (1080p)

Check out this awesome sound replacement mod for Arma 3. I set up a bunch of scenarios in the Arma 3 editor to showcase it. Like and Subscribe for more Arma content.
The speed of sound mod was made as a sound replacement pack to make Arma 3 sound more realistic. Basically it takes the sound of some vehicles, weapons, explosions, etc and transforms them! Overall, they sound very realistic and add immersion to the battles.

For those of you who haven't heard of Arma 3, it's an open world military simulation sandbox. You can play online multiplayer with many people (and different missions), or you can play single player and make your own missions using the editor.

It actually depends on the server settings - some will kick you if you dont have the exact mods set up. But with some deeper modification, it can start to behave unpredictably and even shut down the server. (at least since flashpoint to arma 2 it always was an issue)

Love the mod, the one complaint I have is the intensity of the camp fires. They sound like a huge forest fire is going on, and really sounds poorly. I would recommend removing the fire sound completely if there is no way to limit it based on size. Camp fires don't sound like they are roaring fires.

I heard that there is also a blood effect in this mod. Is it true?

i love the sounds but my MX rifle and Kabata rifle dont work in third person all i hear is the bullets impacting the ground. In my opinion this is a major flaw. so i may consider going to jsrs

The mod is alright. Rounds flying close overhead should have more of a crack and rounds a few feet away should not be as high pitched and should have a slight crack to it.
Some of the sounds, sound like western movie ricochet sounds lol
Gun sounds need more power/grunt behind them.
The sound travel over distance is done well.

Well there are some issues with this mod, but after some more work it can really sound good. But still there are some volume issues and the bullets don't crack properly since most of them are still in super sonic speeds. /watch?v=wSfoJkAq--k there is plenty more videos about that.

helicopters are too silent to me in this mod, i mean 2 big attack russian chopper flyes 200 300 meters over your head and I can barely ear them :(

Lol... Not very realistic though.. Explosions are as all other CoD games and shitty FPS games. and Heli's sound awful.
