As a woman I think it’s important that woman don’t attribute all the evil against woman to Islam. The religion is perfect and it is the men who abuse the leadership Allah gave them that have gone astray. Allah knows what is better for us, better than the media or the West so we need to learn more and remember what our end goal is ‘Jannah’. In my view the Hadith about the anger of the husband is to make sure he doesn't get angry just because the wife doesn't want to have sex. I don't hear that view ever. The husband should not want his wife to be cursed by Angels. So he remains calm and doesn't get angry. Just because she doesn't want to have sex at the moment.

I dislike that you would say "curse those dogs" when not long ago I was a feminist, before Allah, may he be Exhalted, guided me. If these feminists are our muslim sisters, then we should ask Allah to guide them and forgive them. I've been through it and I only have sympathy for such women.
We have to remember Feminism today/Radical Feminism is not the feminism that would've agreed with Islam when it started in the 1800s. Early on it was for equity, and some still believe that like Islam, feminism means equity. Early Feminists wanted to criminalize rape, and give rights to trauma rape victims. They wanted women to just have a voice in her personal court cases and access to abortion if necessary. (Trauma and Recovery by Herman) I'm sure there are more parallels to early feminists and islam.

I think a slip of the tongue occurred at 43:40-43:45 where Muhammad Tim Humble says “it’s not possible”. I think he meant to say that it is possible but just rare.
If by this you mean that feminism is to blame for women being single, then eeerm I'm sorry but that's an extremely simplistic and ignorant position to take. There's this thing called qadr - Allah's will and timing that people very conveniently forget about when it comes especially to marriage and children. Many people are struggling in both regards and it has nothing to do with feminism. #MyTwoCents
@@sali3492 *can* That's right. But to have a *blanket* *women in their late 20s and 30s aren't married because of feminism* is as I said very ignorant and simplistic. And also the whole late 20s and 30s thing... sigh! Again I ask where is qadr when people talk about when people get married and have kids? How many people rushed into marriage and ended up divorced or unhappy with kids that suffer due to such situations? And then for the women.. back to square zero... back home with a kid (on the way) and now she has to deal with the stigma of divorce? Some actually are happy. Some struggle to find spouses. For some perhaps marriage hasn't been decreed for them. But what do we do? SubhanAllah 23 and not married? 30 and not married? 35 and no kids? Honestly we need to dig our noses out of people's business. Either help by proposing or making dua for them or shut up.

I mean SubhanAllah literally *IN* the podcast Ustadh Tim gave an example of someone who had/ has difficulty getting married and then she does after a long time. *THERE ARE OTHER REASONS FOR WOMEN IN SAID AGE BRACKET BEING SINGLE THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO FEMINISM* And this _maybe you'll accept it because it comes from a non Muslim source_ is extremely condescending and disrespectful to say the least.

The best thing for you to do is to know who is Allah, who is your Creator. Also, the wisdom in the laws of Allah are not unjust to anyone let alone misogonistic. Also, Allah is not a man nor a woman, but He created men and women. Allah cares equally for both genders and its clear simply by reading the Quran and learing the Sunna and the high status of women in Islam. So for me knowing all of this, it clear that it is a logical fallacy to even claim that Allah is misogonistic. But seriously, study the names and attributes of Allah and about the believing women mentioned in the Quran and the Sahabi women including the Prophets wives alayhi salatu wa salam.

@@Yasmin-xt2rj what hadiths are you talking about? From my understanding you’re making it seem like women have no rights. That’s completely wrong. In fact, when you look into how marriage works and is legislated in Islam you find the husband has so many more obligations that you wonder what’s the point in them marrying in the first place subhanallah.
@@Yasmin-xt2rj Women CAN be beautiful! It's just regarding the circumstances to whom she beautifies herself for. Islam encourages her to beautify herself for her husband, not random strangers as it can be a means of fitnah for both her and society. alhamdulilah Islam is comprehensive and takes into circumstances that will benefit not just an individual, but a community. Sister, regarding the salat, Allah has decreed it, upon us is to hear and obey, men have to cover their shoulders in salat and if not their salat is invalid as it counts as their awrah, these commands have been put in place for both men and women, they just differ as men are women are different! It seems like you're suffering from was waasa, all I can say is that from someone whose previously suffered from it, is to IGNORE it and remember Allah is Al Hakim, Al Alim and does not oppress His Slaves. Allah is Kind and Loving to His Slaves, so it is not befitting for the slave to think otherwise of Allah. Sometimes you may know the wisdom behind a command or prohibition and sometimes you may NOT...and just because you don't, it doesnt mean there is no wisdom, there IS, we're just weak and poor to understand, but what solidifes our iman is that Allah is Al Hakim so we're certain with unwavering conviction that there is a beautiful and perfect wisdom behind it. Barak'Allahu Feeki.
Maybe you should focus on the value of women within Islam and what women can do in Islam. A woman may not be able to rule, but remember, heaven lies at HER feet, that is the biggest honour, bar none.
No, gender /sex comes from ALLAH, this is what we believe, it is assigned when you are born,. Don't accept your school indoctrination. Speak your mind.
So according to western society... Sex is what you were born as (male or female) and Gender is what you choose to be (they are over 60!). BUT! In Islam, your gender is your sex. All the other genders are invalid. Allah created the man and woman. Yes a baby can come with parts of both sexes but that baby wouldn't come 50% boy and 50%girl, that is impossible. The baby would either be mostly male or mostly female. Whatever mostly he is is his gender. Not everything they teach you in school is correct!

In my view the Hadith about the anger of the husband is to make sure he doesn't get angry just because the wife doesn't want to have sex. I don't hear that view ever. Start Memorizing Hadith Today!!! Insha Allah

Where i live there are many feminists and the rate of single ladies in their end 20's,30's is a lot.
So feminism can be big turnoff
If by this you mean that feminism is to blame for women being single, then eeerm I'm sorry but that's an extremely simplistic and ignorant position to take.
There's this thing called qadr - Allah's will and timing that people very conveniently forget about when it comes especially to marriage and children.
Many people are struggling in both regards and it has nothing to do with feminism.

The single women in their late 30's i met at work etc, they were hardcore feminists.
So feminism can play a role. You cant deny that
@@sali3492 *can*
That's right.

@@sali3492 I see a deliberate choosing to misunderstand what I'm saying so I'll rephrase.

I mean SubhanAllah literally *IN* the podcast Ustadh Tim gave an example of someone who had/ has difficulty getting married and then she does after a long time.
*THERE ARE OTHER REASONS FOR WOMEN IN SAID AGE BRACKET BEING SINGLE THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO FEMINISM*

My Iman is weak now so I still think that Islam is kinda misogynistic but I hope that Allah will heal me. I don’t wanna give up on Islam

In school it is taught that gender is a social construct. Is gender a social construct ?
No, gender /sex comes from ALLAH, this is what we believe, it is assigned when you are born,. Don't accept your school indoctrination. Speak your mind.
So according to western society...
Sex is what you were born as (male or female) and
Gender is what you choose to be (they are over 60!).
