Now your that coolest person! I have a similar story watching an ultralight fly-in in Oshkosh in the 80's. During the fly in paramotor swooped in and we thought he was the craziest person alive!! But cool. Now I'm 54 years old and am new to the sport with around 40 flights in so far. I love this sport! If your ever in AZ look me up.

I've been flying for the last 2 years, it's been the most amazing experience of my life. I recently spent two weeks traveling, flying and camping all over the west and it's now my passion to continue this lifestyle as much as I can. Keep doing what your doing brother!

Ive owned so many kinds of big boys toys and still have um dirt bikes road bikes bikes sports cars boats kayaks ect seen a Paramotor in a video and one on hols but always knew I wanted one watching and following TH-cam videos YEARS bought one about 3 weeks ago just practicing ground handling at the minute can’t wait to be flying 🪂
It's best toy there is I've done similar flying is freedom like you've never experienced, is calming and exilerating at same time.

@@AirChairAviation how’s things ya I’m still alive anyway 🤣 I’m from Ireland 🇮🇪 I ended up going to spain 🇪🇸 in January for 3 weeks and did my course with Fly-Spain🪂 I got in with a group of people back here and we meet up time to time as I’m still a novice it’s nice to have friends in this game now…currently have my Paramotor and wing and helmet up for sale as a person who’s in our group is selling his equipment so I’m going to buy his stuff only regret is not doing this YEARS ago….I subscribed to your channel to✅
Great video buddy ! I am currently taking paramotoring lessons. Already bought my gear. Paramotoring and van life is basically my dream.
How do you find places to launch your Paramotor? I want to get a 4x4 van and do the same thing across the country. Do you mostly just drive to any spot that's good and then launch or do you know where you are going ahead of time.

Nice job on the video. From someone who helped developed the sport test flying in Baja prior to being excepted by the FAA/USHGA back in the 80's. You broke the #1 rule while flying a Paramotor or Paraglider. NEVER TAKE BOTH HANDS OFF THE BRAKES WHILE IN THE AIR. Especially as a lead in to a SAFTEY conversation. I would suggest editing those frames. Someone learning by themselves may try and copy that scene in mid-day air with a collapse. They may not be as lucky as you.

Flying hundreds of feet above ground, propelled by a leaf blower motor in a backpack. What could possibly go wrong? Cool video though. It does look like fun.
It is safer than riding a motorcycle.
There is far more complexity to it than that... the engineering that goes into that motor and the wing is quite impressive. If it's something your interested, do some research before you dismiss the safety. It takes a certain type of person to take on this amazing sport.
It's one of the safest forms of flying.

you can have the world on your shoulders and then go for a 30 min flight. Land .... Wonder what you were so stressed about....
