    Hello, I’ve just finished this one, but I don’t know why, the sound is strange :( it’s like the pitch is low and the speed too even when I turn the wheel for speed change
    Any idea why?
    Thanks !

      Have a look at the governor unit to see it it is turning freely & the weights are not catching on the unit , you have to turn the crank quite fast ro get this machine to play a record reasonably well as not only does this work the gears & Platter but also operates the generator to supply the voltage to the amplifier & Speaker

    Does the speaker actually works? or is it just ornament?

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there is a small speaker in the base of the horn , by turning the crank this will , via gears spin the platter & generate via a small generator enough voltage to power the amplifier & speaker

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the speaker is hidden in the base of the horn

    Also your vinyl is turning too fast (i've tried to put their vinyl on my Thorens turntable and it spins slower on 33 rpm setting)

    Hello! Have you tested 12 inches vinyls, or does it not fit in?

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No have not attempted to play a LP record singles are just fine but even these require a lot of winding of the handle !

    • @GregMadman
      @GregMadman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fitang1 OK thanks. So you don't think the 12 inches would fit?
      I will certainly buy the version with an electric motor :)

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@GregMadman Hi Yes 12"LP would fit but the endless winding of the crank would do your wrist in improved sound can be obtained by connecting a USB cable to a 5V output this supplies voltage to the amplifier you then just power the platter gearing with the crank the electric motor is a better option for playing longer music tracks

    • @GregMadman
      @GregMadman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fitang1 OK, thanks! So you think 12" LPs would fit and be played. Maybe the playing arm would not be long enough?

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GregMadman 10" Lp records will fit on the platter but sadly 12" dismeter ones will not due to the layout of the pickup arm & platter this unit is best suited for 78 records & single 45 rpm records trust me after winding through a couple of singles your wrist would have had enough !!?

    Can you play any LP record on this gramophone?

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can play lP records on it but requires a lot of handle turning ,there is a electric motor attarchment avalable to circumnavigate this problem

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      well yes you can but requires a lot of cranking of the handle ok for 45 RPM single records

    What's the microUSB port for?

    • @MewingC
      @MewingC 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      autoplay without turning handle

    • @fitang1
      @fitang1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is for 5 Volt supply to the amp then cranking the handle Just turns the platter & not the generator as well
