    I built the pinball over the holidays and it took me 3 days to finish.
    This so much fun to build i could not getaway from it they did a great job creating it.
    If this is like the pinball i suspect it should be great. The workmanship in these kits are amazing.

    it was the best marble run kit that I have done, pieces fit precisely and it actually works very well. I added an electric motor and some micro switches and led lights

      I also thought that was the best track....but now that I have built the Galaxy Marble Run by WoodTrick I have changed my opinion 😊. And that one already has an electric motor.

    //well this was like a good book, once you started reading it you didn't want to put it down. It took me about five days to finish the project and breaking about five tracks, boards and whatever you want to call them, I ended up gluing them back together and also using a glue gun with hot glue to get them back together again. It worked for a few items but when I went to put them in place I had to remove some of the glue from the glue gun. I have a few areas that I have to check because the balls won't go through two areas and the balls get stuck in two places where it looks like I need to get a little more slant on the area to keep them flowing... Working on that part right now?... I am checking on the left over parts to see if I missed using them. Patience - - - - Patience..... Ron

    Finished it about an hour ago. Not everything is working yet: the angle isn't quite right on a couple of the slides*, so the balls don't continue on until I jiggle it, and the collection and release isn't 'releasing'. Generally it's working better than I thought it would though, even though I can't snap the funnel cyclotron quite in place, nor the collection slide. It'll be fun to tinker with it later--that was a fun project and your videos helped a lot! You're right--so many extra pieces, and sadly a large amount of waste. I'm sure it's that way with all the projects in your vids.
    * the base that everything sits in (the G plate) is warped, so that may be causing some of it. I'm going to screw the whole thing down onto plywood to straighten it.

    Built it all in one day as per instructions, without glue or other tools other than what was in the box. The balls wouldn’t slide smoothly through the ramps, and got stuck everywhere. The next day I bought crazy glue and glued the ramps together. I also had a problem where the ball would lose momentum and stop in the corner of the last ramp before intersecting with the other bottom ramp. My fix (which was not in the instructions) was to glue the corner of ramp rail to the surface of the ramp. This seemed to do the trick and now everything is running smoothly.
    The only problem that I could not find a way to fix is the release at the top. If you crank the wheels too quickly the ball will remain on the acrylic gear and fall off the machine rather than go on the ramp. It’s incredibly annoying, and the only solution is to move slowly and keep an eye on the balls as they’re moving up.
    Other than that it’s a fun and decent project that works 80% efficiency if you use glue and 50% if you don’t.

    • @leokessels88
      @leokessels88  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your reaction. But as you can see in my construction videos of this marble track, I have not encountered any major problems. I only had to use wood glue in few places. And still now it runs without any problems. So everyone has their own experiences with this kit.

    • @leokessels88
      @leokessels88  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When building, you use wax as a lubricant. Furthermore, you need to make sure that the transitions between the different parts of the track are tight and smooth. And, of course, always check that the entire track runs downhill properly.

    I can't get the "seasaw" at the top to flip the ball bearings both ways. Any tips? Also, in a few places the balls are stuck underneath one of the bridges.

    • @leokessels88
      @leokessels88  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When installing the seesaw, make sure it is seated all the way. If it sits too high or crooked, it will not work properly. Also, check carefully that the support is seated correctly (deep enough) in the base plate.
      If marbles get stuck under a bridge, then the track is not installed properly. Look carefully in the instructions to see if the track is properly seated in the supports. If it is not, then the track is too high and the marbles will not be able to pass under the bridge.
      Good luck with troubleshooting

      I had to place them on a little bit by hand, but then the tool worked perfectly to finish putting them on. It WAS a bit fiddly. • @leokessels88
      @leokessels88  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it would be difficult to mount this marble track on a wood base. It will then have to be a wooden board that will not warp. For the shooting of this video, the track is loose on an MDF board.

    • @leokessels88

      @@mikecoleman4833 Watch out when using screws. The track stands on 4 small supports. This is because there should be a small distance between the base plate and the plate on which you want to mount the marble track. You will also see this when the marble track is finished. If you want to put screws through the small supports, chances are that the wood will split. It is better to use a strong wood glue.
