Thank you my friend!! Glad you enjoyed the video! Hahahaha the agony of choice in wargaming..;) Love Barons War era it is the second period I start after my HYW and I am really enjoying it. Thank you for watching my friend!
I love the inclusion of the narrative, which is very well done. I hope "part one" means that you're going to do more of these with the other scenarios.
Thank you Dear Michael glad you enjoyed the battle! Yes love these narrative bits i enjoy shooting them! The campaign has 3 battles and this is the first so we have 2 more to conclude and find the victor. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you dear Jonny! Yes i saw the news in FB today the minis looked great i will probably purchase a few in the near future but currently i am painting a second batch of Footsore. Hope you enjoyed the video. thank you for watching and commenting my friend!
Excellent battle report and very inspirational. Once the remaining 4 sets from Wargames Atlantic are released I’ll jump into this, and yet another!, period.
Thank you dear Edward glad you enjoyed the battle report my friend! Wargames Atlantic have a beautiful range of Barons War miniatures from what I have seen on line. Thank you for watching my friend!
Glad you enjoyed the video my friend! Ohhh yes it takes to much time to produce something like that. Hopefully the friends of the channel will enjoy it! Yes for sure coming up the second battle of the campaign ''BURYING THE HATCHET''. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you dear Josh! Yes I think it worked in this specific scenario that had to do with trying to escape to safety rather than with strategy. I am planning for a bit different format for the next one being an actual battle. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you so much my friend glad you enjoyed the video!! For sure my friend the next part is ''BURYING THE HATCHET'' and hopefully i will start soon.. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I know my friend and i am really sorry for the delay but i don't know if you noticed from some of my posts last month but i moved apartment recently and as you can understand my minis set up became a mess.. just recently i recovered a bit and started posting videos but still waiting for a new table in order to start battle report.. hopefully soon. I am really looking forward in filming and Gaming Part II as well. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend!
@@MrMegamike2k Thank you so much dear Mike really appreciate it! There is a lot of diverse content on the channel i would suggest to have a look at the Playlists you can find subjects you are interested in. Again thank you for subscribing!
Thank you dear Leslie! Well as much as one enjoys while doing and thinking of thousand other things at the same time like camera angles lighting rules explanation die roll shots.. hahaha hope you enjoyed the Battle my friend! Thank you for watching!
Really great job, Nik! A lot of time and effort were invested in this video but it paid off. A question yet. Have you changed your preferences for Medieval skirmish from Blood and Crowns to Barons Wars? You told me once that B&C are the best skirmish rules for the period.
Thank you my friend glad you enjoyed the battle! Yes you are correct it took time to produce this video. No not at all Blood and Crowns is still an amazing rule set but it can’t accommodate Barons War at all! B&C core rules and special rules are 100% HYW I tried it is impossible to play Barons War using them. I mentioned to the author that he should work in a future supplement in order for the rules to work with Barons War as I have realized that the Barons Era is a popular period for wargaming. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you my friend glad you enjoyed the battle. Oh yes I am planning currently the second battle of the campaign and hoping I will do all three. Yes I am planning to purchase Death and Taxes this week and do a review and flip through before I start. Thank you for watching!
Very well made video, good work. One question about rolling initiative with d6s, is that an alternative rule or a house rule? Or something else? Thank you
Thank you my friend! Most of the miniatures are from Footsore Barons War range. The Plastic Knights that i mention as sergeants are from Reconquer Designs. Check if you have time i have them all individually showcased in some older videos a few month ago. Thank you for watching!
Thank you my friend! Yes it was a fun game, preparing now for the second battle of the campaign a more straight forward clash of retinues. Thank you for watching!
@@nordicmaelstrom4714 😂😂😂😂😂 good point I am tempted but unfortunately I am playing this specific campaign and have to follow the weather conditions as dictated by the rules..😂😂
@@MedievalWargamer Boo! Rules are meant to be broken Nik hah. A little rain won't hurt the narrative! Though it may cause a quagmire like at Agincourt.
Yet again a solid and detailed game. You make the rules clear. Looks like I may have to collect another era.😂
