  • A look at a bayonet that would make a good survival knife. If only I had an M16 or AR to mount it on...

I have this very same bayonet, dark gray handle and the sheath is identical. I also got the version with the different saw back based off the S&W 3B.

I’ve looked at this knife on RF a few times and not been sure about it. Great walk and talk you have sold me. RF should give you commission my friend. I hope they’ll stock a replica of the British Bayonet in time. Excellent video Brother 👍.

Very good video with spear and etc..👍..the eirecutter works very well...only it is always needed to hold knife in one hand and scabbard in the other and in order to maintain shear pressure like on loose scissors... in short, to create a precise manual movement of the blade and the sheath very tight, and this by skilful pressure so that both sides of the metals slide parallel and tight over each other... it is supposed to cut mesh and objects that you don't have to hold in your hand.. you always hold only the knife and the sheath... otherwise it doesn't work...it would be pitty to think the wirecutter unfunctional...it is always great..only specific training..exercise..it's a bit unusual but it works great👍👍👍

It was the only way I could use it, may have been a bit unfair as it was a very hard wire.

Not a problem mate, I can speak a little French, German and Polish, wouldn`t try to tespond to a YT video in any of those languages. The knife community is a good one!

Strange that they did the tang like that. Still, I don't suppose they expect anyone to go batoning with it. So it should be ok for more general use. The wire cutter did make me laugh though. I would assume it's intended for cutting barbed wire for clandestine type missions. Getting into enemy camps / trenches with barbed wire around them. Even if it worked ( I did wonder if you are meant to use the cutting edge on the wire. Even if the edge get's wrecked, the US Army will no doubt supply you with a new bayonet for free ), the noise would get you spotted and shot / captured pretty quickly I imaging. Unless thery're deaf sentries like in hollywood films that is lol. All the same, a nice collector piece for the money.

Impressive looking knife mate, and it works well at thrusting which I guess is the main priority of a bayonet. Nice one Timbo.

I've never bought a bayonet but I've always wanted one just to make a point.
See I have rifles with bayonet lugs. Some states and politicians want to or have already restricted the bayonet lug feature. I find this ridiculous and have never heard of a drive by bayonetting. So I want one some day to stick up a big middle finger to the politicians.
