In today's Gospel reading, we hear the powerful proclamation: "This is truly the prophet, the one who is to come into the world." This statement is a fulfillment of the prophecy by Moses in Deuteronomy 18:15, where God promises to raise a prophet like Moses from among the people. Moses served as a mediator between God and Israel, but Jesus, the final prophet, the Messiah, and our King, establishes a direct relationship between us and God. Through Jesus, we are transformed into priests, prophets, and kings, sharing in His mission to spread the good news of God's love, redemption, and the resurrection. Join us as we explore this profound mystery and our role in God's divine plan.
