Super Mario Bros. On A Black and White CRT TV

Let's play the first level of Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. in black and white. I've hooked up my NES to this little five-inch COBY CRT. It's a thrift store find that also has AM and FM radio.

This is weird! My brain is filling in the colors. I know they aren't there. I know it's a black and white screen, but I can still see the colors! I can still see the blue skies, the brown bricks, Mario's red overalls, and the green pipes pop like it's from a bright, color CRT! The images of the world of Super Mario Bros. is so ingrained in my head that I cannot see it in black and white! Kinda cool, but a little freaky too.

👌🏾 I’ve never played Mario 6 Golden Coins. Is it difficult?

@@GamerHomegirl It's easier than Super Mario Land, but I can't recommend it enough. 6 Golden Coins was fun to play! Plus someone's made a DX color modification for it that lets you switch to Luigi with the select button. The physics can be a little tricky compared to, say, Super Mario World, but nothing one can't get used to. Good luck finding all the secret levels!
