I am Roman Catholic but I have to say that this wedding was just beautiful! Truly, one can see God's joy, love, and peace present among these devout people. May many blessings come to this couple and to their family and friends for sharing such a wonderful example of the true joy that only God can give!
When I saw this, I thought how happy we could all be, it was just simply a joy, to watch this young couple setting out on their married life together. I am so moved at how the Hasidic community are so close and supporting of each other. As a Gentile I send you my warmest wishes for a wonderful life together. Mazel Tov.
I enjoyed watching this a lot. As I see so much joy during the wedding day, and so much happiness in both the bride's and bridegroom's face. You are both truly a beautiful couple together. May G-d bless you two and your marriage! :-)
What a fantastic simcha! No-one can tell me either side felt *left out* or didn't enjoy the wedding just as much being separated. It's fabulous. I hope they're both very happy.
This seems like such a lovely and fun wedding. You guys are a really beutiful couple, I wish all the best to you and your family , and I hope to one day have the opportunity to attend a Jewish wedding! :)
I've attended SO many weddings, but never got to experience a Jewish wedding or a Muslim one. I want to experience something new. Beautiful video...you guys looked like you had so much fun!!
The song is "MiBan Siach", which is about the joy a couple experiences on its wedding day. In stricter Orthodox circles, the bride's face is covered with a cloth to ensure that her veil is opaque. The wedding ring is placed on the bride's index finger in order to remind people that the bride is newly-married whenever she points at something. Most women place the wedding ring onto their left ring finger after the wedding is over, though.
Blessings to you both from Samarqand. May G-d bless you and keep you in long life and happiness. What a neat couple and sincere video. All of us enjoyed the music and joy. Thank you for posting Herschel Kessler.......................................
I love the observance of the beautiful traditions, as when the chatan covers the face of his kallah with a kerchief. What exuberant dancing, such passionate joy--kol hakavod!
I loved this video. It made me think of the celebration that will take place when Gd comes for His people. It will be without end. May He always bless you.
Shalom from South Carolina. Mazeltov! Your bride is very beautiful...I loved watching this...Thank you for sharing this. Todah rabah, Heidi Helmick. alufa1
More than a beautiful celebration, what we see is a tradition of more than four thousand years . this people is extraordinary. Shalom ! Shalom from Brazil !
great video awesome celebration but perhaps anyone might show a whole wedding cause i´d like to know how it comes to the 7 times cirlcing of the groom.
I respect the Jewish religious traditions and enjoy studying and reading about their depth, meanings and the closeness of family and community. If I were not Roman Catholic, I'd be thrilled to be Jewish!
Wow, it looks like so much fun! I never had any idea how is Jewish wedding like. I wish I could attend Jewish wedding one day. Nice couple and nice wedding. :-)
@reginaDexant They break the glass at the end of the ceremony, to symbolize that amidst the great joy, we still remember our Temple which was destroyed and that the joyous occasion isn't complete without God's dwelling in the Temple. It's a beautiful tradition!
i have been jewish almost 20 years and i have not once been invited to a jewish wedding. I would love to have this great experience also. Beautiful bride as it should be.
I cant seem to get the link to work, but do a search on wikipedia for "chabad". It gives a good description of Lubavitch. As for the finantial support, each family is different. As the husband, I run our business and go to school. Thanks for the questions.
Big Shalom from Poland and Mazel Tov. Great songs, I see Chasids give a kick as always :) Whay Kind of Chasidisim is it? I see the wedding is very traditional, you dance saperetly women and men. Nice to see theese kind of films on youtube. Once more shalom and mazel tov, enjoy todays shabbat :)
I am attempting a translation here, since someone put a minus on the comment and I put a plus to balance it out, and a minus here isn't fair, since this is a good comment. "Long live the bride and groom! Mazal Tov (good luck) to Herschel and Nechamie, from Spain."
@ darklifelight: In traditional Judaism, it's considered immodest for a man and woman to dance together in public. Also, since men and women don't touch each other unless they're married, there has to be separate dancing area for men and women. It actually makes it a lot more fun, since you're more likely to let-loose on the dance floor if you are just with the guys/girls. It's such a fun time.

I have to say that chap getting married is quite an athlete, and he's got some serious balls as well balancing on that board. Pretty impressive.

Kol sason vekol simchah,
kol chatan vekol kalah.
IT WILL YET BE HEARD
It will yet be heard in the cities of Judea
and the parts of Jerusalem:
Sound of joy and sound of gladness,
voice of groom and bride.
this song is sung over and over during traditional Jewish weddings with great fervor and joy in honor of the chatan and kalah (groom and bride)
I respect the Jewish religious traditions and enjoy studying and reading about their depth, meanings and the closeness of family and community. If I were not Roman Catholic, I'd be thrilled to be Jewish!

i may can't adapt the situation like that , I feel like I'm falling down from the board people raised up , and that dance is so intense.
Hi, lovely video. Could someone please tell me what the name of this song is?
I kinda wish my wedding was like this! This was so cool.
Amazing, that was a charming film - what a cool wedding.
Touching!
It is an act of modesty and respect to women.
