@@Not_Livid He's not though, I personally just workout shirtless at home. But those performance, spandex like shorts are made for working out in. So that makes no sense, the only other option at a gym is to wear a regular t shirt, which has no resistance, get's drenched in sweat and is uncomfortable.
You see if you’re big and lean, compression shirts are the way to go

@@Paint75 delt/drop arm tanks enhance my physique (wide lats, wide shoulder) while hiding weak points (somewhat flabby lower back). It’s nearly the perfect gym tank for guys
I personally think tanks look better for leaner/skinnier guys rather than extremely bulky guys.

I have to disagree about the homemade stringers or cutoffs. I think for a lot of guys they look good in them. A little chest fat never hurt anyone. If you’ve got the arms, traps and shoulders for one, chest fat isn’t a deal breaker imo

Apparently some studies suggest if you were a sleeveless shirt you are not restricting your biceps and triceps whenever you’re doing those isolated movements if you’re wearing a sleeve shirt you can’t get maximum growth because the muscle is going expand to the circumference of that sleeve.

Nothing wrong with either outfit; if you’re bigger the cut off shirt aka “bro tank” can actually be cooler and less conforming to the body making it easier for bigger men or larger muscle men to work out in, plus it can be made out of any old t-shirt, so it can thrown out if it gets too worn from workouts and doesn’t break the bank. Every gym I’ve been in the men are usually very supportive of the more overweight guys trying to make change ; they’re not judging them in a negative way.
