A land without a people would not have needed an extra 100,000 British soldiers brought in from mainland Britain on top of the already existing British army soldiers in Palestine just to deal with the 1936-1939 revolt of Palestinians.
Just added to your point, it was a good place with good people until the refugees arrived on mass. The British had suffered enough, everybody had suffered enough, they just wanted it to finish and get home to their families. War weary the UK made concessions as they were unable to contain the volume of refugees nor could they prevent them from disembarking the boats indefinitely. It's worth remembering the context of the times and that it was holocaust survivors that were arriving. How far could the UK go to enforce security against an already persecuted influx of people. Pisses me off when trouble makers blame everybody else for what they themselves did.
@@dicksimo76yet the British didn’t take them in. Neither did any of the commonwealth countries or the USA. At the time, Australia was very sparsely populated with immense mineral wealth and an abundance of farmlands. It was convenient to establish an outpost of empire which then was transferred to the USA empire to keep the region in perpetual destabilization while they loot all the wealth in the region, especially via what became the petrodollar
@@dicksimo76Why couldn’t the British just of allowed/facilitated them to resettle in their home countries? When African Americans were freed they chose to stay in the USA, and the alternative ‘repatriation’ to Africa made about as much sense as Israel.
@dicksimo76 I think you still need to distinguish between two things, Zionsim and Jews. During the Ottoman rule, European Jews were prohibitted from migrating to Palestine due to concerns of Zionisim after it'd became common knowledge what Zionsim's intentions were. The Ottomans still had no objection whatsoever to the migration of European Jews to any other territory that was under the Ottoman rule. It must be noted that the Zionists approached the Ottomans first, before they went anywhere near the British, asking Sultan Abdul Hamid II to facilitate the establishment of a homeland for Jews in Palestine. The Zionists offered to write off the Ottoman Public Debt (which the Ottoman state was reeling under) in return for Palestine but their offered was rejected which is why they turned to the British who were more than happy to oblige and so The Balfour Declaration (which was written/drafted by Haim Weitzman and handed over to Arthur Balfour) was made to the Rothchilds bankers a year before the end of a very costly WWI (costly in terms of monetary DEBT not just human lives). It must also be noted thst it was because of the the British Occupation of Palestine in 1917 and the implementation of the Balfour Declaration that the Zionists had established themselves more prominently and and became more potent and an effective force as time passed to the point that Zionism became the thing among many European Jews. So by 1930s Jews who were coming from Europe were not just Jews. Many of them were already Zionists and many were not only escaping persecution, but they were coming particularly to Palestine throught Zionists facitations as part of the fulfillment of the Zionist project
It’s more in line with what we did with Hawaii. Business owners showing up, guns in hand and taking with force the land. Then the native population being forced into a smaller and smaller sector and into abject poverty.

Why did the British government lead by Crime Minister Lord Belfour pass the 1905 Aliens Exclusion Act? Ask yourself why. This is his government response to the persecution of Eastern European Jews and their forced migration, mainly from the Russian Empire into Britain. A book entitled '' The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine'' by Jewish, Israeli and once Zionist historian and author Ilan Pappe is a good start. The life story of Swedish diplomat Folke Bernadotte also is revealing of the intention of the Zionist entity since its inception. Thousands of Jewish Ethiopian women received shots of Depo-Provera every three months in Israeli clinics to stop them from menstruating and producing Jews of the wrong color. Ask yourself why. It is illegal to do DNA tests, genealogical studies in Israel. Ask yourself why. ‘’Colonialism is not a machine capable of thinking or a body endowed with reason. Israel Shahak, a Holocaust survivor. Thanks to social media and spread of information, with a couple of clicks and with courage and human decency, the truth shines for every seeker to recognize. Plan Dalet is a good way to start your search. It details the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian villages and towns from their inhabitants. Search Dier Yassin, Tantura, Ramla, Lydda, Safsaf, Sa’sa, Kfar Qassim and hundreds of other massacres committed by Zionist Hagana, Irgun and Stern gangs in 1947-1948 under the eyes of the British authorities. “Goliath: Life and Loathing in Greater Israel” by Max Blumenthal. “Denying people the right of return to their homeland, and at the same time offering this right to others who have no connection to the land, is a model of undemocratic practice.” -Israeli historian Pappe. “Since its establishment, Israel has engaged in brutal oppression of the rights of Palestinians. Thousands of Palestinians are imprisoned, beaten and tortured; children are taken from their beds and beaten by soldiers who are armed to the teeth.”-Israeli historian Miko Peled. "I am a freedom fighter- says teenager Ahed Tamini, the Rosa Parks of Palestine in her memoir “They called me a lioness, A Palestinian Girl’s Fight for Freedom.” This book is an eye-opener and a worthwhile read. Plan Dalet, the blueprint of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian villages and towns started in December 1947 and was FINALIZED by the High Command of the Zionist leadership on March 10, 1947. Not a SINGLE Arab army soldier had entered the Palestine/Israel before the Zionists declared the birth of their state on May 15, 1948. By then, more than 300000 defenseless civilians had already been massacred, expelled, raped, and mutilated and more than 300 villages and towns emptied, destroyed, torched, and imploded with dynamite under the watchful eyes of and with the support of the British soldiers and police, who left the country on the fateful day. The Zionists even ran out of dynamite because of the extent of their barbarity. By the end of that year, 20000 civilians had been killed and 750000-900000 defenseless civilians, 85% of the population who had lived in the land that became Israel, had been rendered refugees. 530 villages were destroyed and depopulated. Zionists criminals even murdered the Swedish diplomat Count Folke Bernadotte, the UN peace envoy in Sept 1948 because he was a witness to their crimes. He objected to the Zionist plan of ethnically cleansing Palestine of its native inhabitants. He, by the way, as the head of the Swedish Red Cross, had helped in the release of about 20000-30000 inmates from the Nazi concentration camps in Germany during WW2. Demolishing the apartheid state would be OK and in fact be the only way to save everybody including the Israelis. The two-state solution is no longer possible. Zionists stole ALL the land. The only solution left is ONE demilitarized secular state under international control with ALL people with documents showing ownership rights related to the land between the river and sea. We need to abolish all racial and religious favoritism. Refugees should be allowed to return if they so wish. We need to dismantle the apartheid colonial state. Peace will NEVER be realized without justice for all. The answer is very clear and everybody should support it. One country from the river to the sea with the two peoples living together in a democratic system is the only solution. Such unitary binational state is advocated by several former Zionists and current historians including Miko Peled, Ilan Pappe, Gabor Mate, Norman Finkelstein, Barnaby Raine and others and supported by the majority of the Arab population of Palestine. The imperial colonial Zionist outpost is not working and it would NEVER work. And how many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free? I didn't know either; it is a stone-cold bummer. But, I think that's just because his mind was too tinged by the prevailing religious mythos of the day, rather than any contempt for the people. He had to say something that fit into this kind of biblical narrative whether he was even conscious of it or not. Edit;Update: ACTUALLY, it looks like he specifically said "the Turks have *made* it barren" so he was condemning the colonial occupiers of that day
He described what he saw. The land was sparsely populated and he would have met few people. It does not mean nobody was there. You only had to seek out the right places. Also, the swamps and the malaria were huge issues before the coming of the Jews. The disease was quite deadly.

When I started looking at Islamic history and trying to compare it with ours here in Europe, I came to conclude that Muslims only fought the ruling powers of countries to stop injustices while creating more overall tolerance to all in regions. Whether if it's Hindus in India or Christians in Palestine. In fact, after Muslims defeat of Rome, Muslims insisted in bringing Jews to the Palestine and created first ever religious tolerant and cosmopolitan cities and towns with services available to all. All previous rules were taxing people to breaking point, the scale of social class was sky and earth a part and justice was only enjoyed by ruling power and wealthy figures. Like Zakah, which is an Islamic tax for Muslims, non Muslims were paying a similar amount called Jizyah. The reason it has a different name is because Zakah is an Islamic spiritual tax, while non muslims will feel strange contributing to something they don't believe in; hence a different name and different concept, yet similar amount. Jakah is 2.5% of total earnings once a year. When I compare this to what's happening in the world now, I actually wish if early Muslims come back and fix this world. 😔

My great maternal grandfather fought in the British indian army on the Egyptian front. He was a poet and I still have a compilation of his poetry that he wrote on the battlefield. In the colonised british raj, indian army was lucrative source of finances as there was not much that can be done by the local population at the time but still the indians especially indian Muslims rejected being used against their Muslim brethren. He also refused to fight against his fellow Muslim brethren and he later resigned from the army. My maternal grandfather also later joined the indian army and fought against japanese empire on burma but when his unit was sent towards the invasion of Afghanistan he had to injure himself to traverse between being used as a weapon against his Muslim brethren and being court martialed (court martial was much severe than the modern versions as it would usually involve the family members of the court martialed soldier and not in a good way).
OMG what an amazing family history! And you inherited the poetry?! My maternal grandfather was self taught. Unfortunately my beloved but ignorant uncles didn't understand, much less know what to do with his volume's of research upon his passing. They either donated or sold them to NAU Science/Physics dept. I was without a doubt his favorite grandchild as I was the only one allowed to be in his study room. Fondest memories were of playing under his desk. Godspeed to you and yours.
@AZtea4UnME Thank you! My maternal great grandfather was not very learned in the secular sense as the transition from urdu language (national language before indian colonization) and potohari (a punjabi language dialect) from northern punjab to the new imposed colonised language of English took a generation for my family. So, most of his poetry is in urdu with a hint of potohari dialect of punjabi. Most of his letters that he used to correspond with his family back home were also written in poetic expressions. His poetry was mostly about thoughts on the battlefield, philosophy of life, etc. Ironically, wars make people cherish life philosophies more than peace time. Yes, his immediate family also didn't have any interest in saving the historical artefacts of my family and I had to sift through large quantities of family politics to get my hands on such an important piece of history. Unfortunately, nothing remains beside one small book of his collection as my family had to internally immigrate from so many places to reach safety, prosperity, and security during conflicts and partition. My paternal family wasn't that lucky, and most of them were killed during the partition of indian sub-continent into pakistan and India. Both of my families have some strange unintentional affinity towards calamity.
@omeridrees5433 I hail from Pakistan. Currently, I am trying to gather all the info from the familial and some tangible sources (I hope) to create a compilation of information on my familial history. Recently, I have discovered that my paternal family might be related to the last great Muslim mughal nawab (lord) of the punjab region; Nawab Adina Beg Khan. My maternal grandmother might have been a descendant of last mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar as her family took refuge in the northern mountains of Azad Kashmir to escape the wrath of the British Raj against the Royal family especially after the Indian rebellion of 1857. I never thought I was that much related to the last royal families. I'm still trying to gather more info and IA when completed I'll make it part of the academic circles.

We need a new Lincoln Project aimed at Netanyahu instead of Trump. It could be named _The Herzl Project,_ after Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism. In 1902, Herzl's last publication said that the Jewish State "will in reality be the product of the benevolent efforts of all the members of the human family." Herzl did not envision the Jewish inhabitants of the state as being religious, but there would be respect for all religions. As well, many languages would be spoken. Hebrew would not be the main tongue. Herzl did not foresee any conflict between Jews and Arabs. He insisted that all non-Jews would have equal rights, declaring that it would be immoral if we would exclude anyone, whatever his origin, his descent, or his religion, from participating in our achievements. _"Now and forever, our motto must be: 'Man, you are my brother.'""_ Clearly, Herzl would be as disappointed with today's Zionism as Lincoln would be with today's Republican Party.
@@franco521 Herzl wanted a sanctuary for any Jew fleeing persecution. He made contact with rulers in Siberia, Uganda, Argentina and the Ottoman Empire, where Palestine was a province. Jews had already been settling there harmoniously alongside non-Jewish inhabitants. Until WWI, it was the Ottomans who "called the shots" there. After the war, and nearly 20 years after Herzl had died, that's when Zionism made its greatest departure from Herzl's dream.

One- you're ignoring the fact that Palestinians Christians are the oldest, continuous Christian group in the world. All the Palestinians (Muslim, Christians and Jews) had a long history of peaceful co-existence under Muslim rulership. Medieval Christians foreigner rulers were evil and brutal. The colonial British were no better in Palestine than they were to other groups they colonalised. Of course, the Palestinians like other colonalised revolted. As for the Jewish rule, of course the Palestinians reject them. They have ethnically cleansed Palestinians from the majority of historic Palestine, they refuse to give the Palestinians the right of return (a legal, international right), they have implemented exclusive Jewish sovereignty to the exclusion of the native population. Even the British did not do this.

This author seems to have reverse-engineered a theory that fits the current progressive "vibe" The British opposed both the creation of a Jewish state and an Arab state in Palestine as well as unlimited immigration of Jewish refugees to the region. This according to the US dept of state website. They were "given" ( by the league of nations) Palestine with the partitioning of the Ottoman empire. FDR never wanted an Israeli state, Instead he kowtowed (with extenuating circumstances ie: the holocaust) to his constituents who were mostly Jewish Zionists and explained there were simply fewer American Palestinian, and used this fact as his explanation for his decision along with the holocaust. This is based on opinion-slash facts to create an anti US Britain Biden narrative. the only true thread here is Israel had no right at the time to exist IMO.

The consensus here is a two state solution could never be democratic, and it's racist to even think of it. Only a one state solution will work. Well, they've got that already. They're obsessed with the past. 1948 to the present CLEARLY lays out that failure. You can't go back. the past no longer exists.
After what they did now they will be lucky to keep all of Gaza. I think it will have to be reoccupied like before 2005. If the birth rate does not come down, Europe will have to continue taking in millions of refugees from Gaza, indeed more than live there now.
i see all the palestinians being pushed into neighboring arab countries over the next 100 years until there are no more left in the occupied territories. and then israel can assimilate those terroritories into israel proper. and that will be the end of palestine and palestinians who will all become egyptians, jordanians, lebanese, emiratis etc over time.
Asking for right and wrong to be applied in a situation where everyone is forced into being mortal enemies is just a tad idealistic. How far back do you want to go? Ottoman dominance of Greece where young boys were stolen and forced to fight their own kin (this was done in the entire Mediterranean Ottoman occupied lands creating the Janissaries)? These were the previous "Occupiers" of Judea. Forced population exchanges were the norm at the end of the ottoman empire which is the context of the creation of Israel. The Palestine mandate covered far more than today's Israel - so yes, there was plenty of land to resettle people in. Shall we go back to the first to use the name Palestine? the Romans? Who were the Palestinians then? Hint- they fought the first Jewish-Roman war. So the Romans invaded, the Christians invaded, the Ottoman's invaded then the land was taken from the Ottomans at their collapse and the British were tasked with carving it up - as was normal back then. The fact is that Israel cannot permit the constant threat of violence on it's border, within it's nation - however you want to consider the actions of the belligerents - regardless of right or wrong. On the other hand, the Palestinians with no future for years, with no Arab nation accepting them, nowhere to go, being supported by outside forces to breed and create an untenable situation for all have zero hope and future for a humane life. Recap - without considering right or wrong, an untenable situation is being forced on two peoples which cannot be reversed and threatens the existence of both. Personally, I feel for both - whether they are manipulated by their religious leaders, by fear from their politicians, by hopelessness, by those that profit from the situation. History is full of similar events. Interestingly, no country wants to incorporate the damaged, hopeless, children of Palestine that have no hope and have known only war. I wonder why. So without looking at right or wrong, the ONLY solution to stop the bloodshed is to clear a buffer zone around Israel and re-settle the Palestinians. The problem remains as to where to resettle them - but with each year, the problem becomes harder, not easier. The alternative is probably the forced genocide of far more Palestinians and the death of maybe millions of Jews. Like I said, without looking at right or wrong, what are the solutions that can realistically put an end to this worsening situation? Why look at things like this? If you actually want people to live in peace, don't look at fixing the past - fix the future.
It's a, shame for you/Israel that international law guarantees the Palestinians a right to resist an occupying force, along with the 'right of return' so legally, all settlements will revert to Palestine. The occupying force is liable for all rebuild, repair and financial compensation, also ... There, the dilemma is fixed, using current international law! Furthermore, under the legal definition of gen.0.cyde, multiple legal scholars state Israel's 'actions', in Gaza and in the West Bank since 10/7, are evidence of gen.0.cyde (i.e. more than plausible)... Maybe there will not even be an Israel, by the time the ICJ concludes investigations?
You misunderstand the facts, the law and my position. Wars simply preclude resettlement. Hamas wants the extermination of Israel. Islamists have fought and lose how many wars seeking the extermination of the Jews? Start there.Remember MY position is not one seeking to understand right or wrong but to find a workable solution for peace.@@mariag3605
So you are for the neutralization of Israel - which is what the last few wars over there were about? Or you just want a permanent base for Hamas? Maybe a formal agreement delineating borders as has been refused by the Palestinians many times before. From the River to the Sea is literally the cry to remove Israel from Judea. When Muslems say they will rise again, convert you to islam, force you to pay tribute or execute you - maybe you should believe what their holiest of text says. My tolerance for religion is vast but I do not tolerate infringement on anyone's religious freedom.@@mariag3605
Where do you come up with these crazy ideas? The west bank is located within Israel. The Palestinians are under military occupation following the six day war between Israel, Jordan and Syria. Israel defeated the aggressors and seized this territory. You're suggesting handing it back to the aggressors? @@mariag3605
Wait a minute here... Palestine has never ever been independent. Palestine was created by the Roman Empire around 35 A.D. After that Palestine has been in the hands of different Empires up to today. Talking about a Palestinian nationalism is just a fantasy as it has never existed as an independent country, ever.
Are you saying, the "hum@n animals" living there at the start of the Eastern-Euro zyonyst's brutal occupation were irrelevant, just like today's descendents are irrelevant - neither deserve even a bag of flour, let alone retention of their generational homes and farmland. That appears to be what you're statement means ...
Well we should also point out that the Palestinians has not fought by them selves either. They have been backed by all Muslim countries and to an extension also Russia through Iran.
The entire Muslim world is interconnected and they've always been territories and states, like greater Syria. Lebanon was never a country before French colonialsm came and carved it out. There's supposed to be one ruler, central authority, and army for Muslims. Of course that's not what happened for a varitey of reasons, but none of this negates the fact people lived there for millenia. No matter what you called them or that land, people lived there. And btw if you want to talk abt fighting, go listen to a rally in Jordan and Bangladesh-they'd be there if they could!
That isnt true at all. The help from Iran mostly exists in the fantasies of Israeli fascists, and the Saudis have done their part to hold up the alliance with Israel and the USA. And your claim of Russia supporting Iran is like hyperventilation in a vaccum, it has no basis in reality. Pure desperation.
@@handsanitiser9832”Lebanon was never a country before French colonialism came and carved it out” Hmm? Chapter 5 of 1 Kings, which was written thousands of years ago long before the time of the Franks, records a diplomatic deal between Solomon, king of Israel, and Hiram, king of Lebanon, in which Solomon traded wheat and olive oil for cedar imported from Lebanon (so that the cedar wood would help with the construction of the Temple to Yahweh in Jerusalem).

Wonder they really invited a real Palestinian person to talk about Palestine instead off some American Jewish person or some European person to talk about Palestine?!!!!
1917? That's a recent history of Palestine, not an early one. England? That packed up in 1707. Before then, both England and Scotland had dabbled in imperial projects (I mean other than in Ireland) but the Union was necessary for imperialism, and later even colonialism, to take off. Where was that British army fighting in Egypt, Sinai and into Palestine and beyond,, via the three battles of Gaza in 1915-18, allied with the Arab revolt, and especially supported by the subsequently betrayed Palestinians, drawn from? Scotland and Australia, with some Indians also involved. Of course, neither the Palestinians, the Syrians, nor anyone else in the region region knew of the Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916 (modified by Lloyd George and Clemenceau in 1918). It was kept secret until 1919. If they had known, the Palestinians would certainly not have been so active in supporting the British against their Ottoman oppressors. One lot of imperialists is never going to liberate you from another lot. They all lie. That is retrospective wisdom, of course. The lessons of modern anti-imperialist struggles were not there to be learned from at the time.
Zuheir Mohsen, PLO politician: The Palestinian people do not exist. There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are part of one people, the Arab nation. Lo and behold, I have relatives with Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian and Syrian citizenship. We are one people. It is only for political reasons that we carefully endorse our Palestinian identity. Indeed, it is of national interest for the Arabs to encourage the existence of the Palestinians in the face of Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity is only for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new means to continue the struggle against Israel and for Arab unity.
well, the jordanians did rule over the West Bank 1948 to 1967. they should have simply assimilated the West Bank into Jordan proper at that time? ======== and things would have been much better for the locals living there ====== could it be that the local palestinians did not want that? ======== and instead wanted a separate Palestine state? ======== if so, then they made A HORRIBLE bet and are now paying for their own bad decisions ======= like you say, they were basically jordanians by race and culture, they should ve simply become part of jordan when they had a chance to do it
Then there's no such thing as Lebanon or USA. Lebanon was never a county-it was carved out of the region by French colonialsim and is so-called "Arab". Same w/ many cities and counties in the U.S.A.-their borders shift and names change-but again, ppl lived there. The Palestinians so to speak, are accused of anti-semitism, but worse of all, of being in cahoots with Hitler. This accusation is made dishonestly, but as we know there were Palestinian individuals who were in cahoots with Hitler. Even so, is it not forgiven. Did we not forgive the German people. The Italian people - did we not forgive them. And likewise during the cold war, was it not said that we should forgive those in league with Stalin, because they were pressed into such service having no choice but either Stalin or Hitler.
Lord, what a mess the issue is. However, to my mind, 2 things are clesr: 1) the League if Nations mandate gave rights to the indegenous palestinian arabs to self determination snd statehood. And this could have included a healthly Jewish minority, something suggested to Golda Meir in cinfederation with his TransJordanian Kingdom. The Zionist who Coveted z(sin) Palestinian lands, decided to steal (sin) the land from them. I believe thise sins I quoted are a part if the Law of Moses. Yes, the land had been Judea 1900 years before and yes, the jews had been exciled and soread wandering the globe the ensuing interval , with christian europeans constantly anusing them), but you dont just teturn to a land after 1900 years and tell the inhabitants to get out ir be killed. Zionists could have attempted to negotiste a confederation with srab-palestinians but no, ‘we will steal from them what we covet’. And this ethic cleansing and inhumane hubris has been honed to a genocidal extreme by Zionists.
Are you talking about Palestine, the area where for the last 2024 years has had Jews, Christians and Arabs until somebody decided that local Muslims (the last settlers, who appeared 634 years after Jesus), are the only owners of the land?
You lack understanding of the history of the region. Many PLs were once Christian or Jewish or other religions, even if they are Muslims today. Religion gets adopted, that does not mean they don't have a right to be on their land. Arabs did not magically appear, they were nomadic Semitic tribes that travelled back and fourth throughout the region (Middle East and North Africa) for thousands of years, even before they were called Arabs. They are not a monolith. PLs have DNA from ancient Semitic people, a lot more than Euro J's do.
muslims were not SETTLERS!!! muslims are local people WHO CONVERTED TO ISLAM after the arabs invaded palestine and replaced the roman leadership with their own ======= there was no mass immigration of arabs from saudi arabia into palestine 1,200 years ago
According to this esteemed academic, the Palestinians had nothing specific against Jews, just settlers and would have done the same to Danish settlers. That's probably why the Mufti of Jerusalem and member of perhaps the most prominent Palestinian family of all time, lived in Nazi Germany and toured various concentration and death camps, and spent his days writing to various world leaders at the time to send their Jews to Poland. That's definitely nothing suspicious there!
The Mufti, Husseini, had fled to Germany under threat of arrest by the British govt for supposedly inciting riots - did you with hold that piece of information because you were deceived, or because you intended to deceive us? Hitler was on record as referring to Arabs as primates. Husseini fled to Germany before the holocaust, so he cant be blamed for that. Even Henry Ford wrote books for Hitler, and the Bush family ran banks for him. When Prescott Bush was tried for treason, he said, he didnt know Germany was going to commit a holocaust. Your claim that Husseini wrote letters urging anybody to force Jews into Poland as the holocaust was underway, is without any grain of truth also.
Thats so dishonest. The most prominent Palestinian family in your mind only. A, mufti of Jerusalem, run out of town by the British, sets up in Nazi Germany and is paid by Hitler. The worst of your dishonesty, is right off the bat, where you mock the esteemed academic and dishonestly summarize his statements. Its such a false argument. You imply that the academic is saying no Palestinian ever had a problem with Jews. One mufti turns out bad and you want to make that person the spokesman for all Palestinians forever. Hitler despised Arabs. You know that. There was no coming together of Islam and Nazism. Many people, the German people themselves, have been forgiven for Hitler.

@@dicksimo76Why couldn’t the British just of allowed/facilitated them to resettle in their home countries? When African Americans were freed they chose to stay in the USA, and the alternative ‘repatriation’ to Africa made about as much sense as Israel.
@dicksimo76 you forget after the war they craved up Europe, they could have given then part of Germany.

Remember April 9, 1948 Deir Yassin massacre = Palestinian Auschwitz committed by the survivors of the holocaust. Boycott apartheid genocidal Israel. Don’t be the last to condemn the colonial apartheid state like you were in South Africa.
The Zionist apartheid colonial outpost is controlling ALL aspects of our lives. It is though NOT prepared for what the new generation is witnessing live on social media directly from occupied Palestine. Thanks to the social media and spread of information, Palestine is finally freeing us from this plague.
No state has a right to exist, but every person does. Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Rhodesia and countless others are states destined to fall and they did. This one is no different. Criticizing Israel is NOT anti-Semitic, the same way criticizing Saudi Arabia is not anti-Islam, criticizing Myanmar is not anti-Buddhism and criticizing India is not anti-Hinduism.

Amazing interview....So much information that I wasn't over of. Mind boggling how much Colonial Britisher were involved in and we r reaping what they sowed!
Jeffries comments on the Zionist’s slogan: “The people without a land for the land without a people!” There being actually some 650,000 people in Palestine, excluding the 70,000 to 80,000 Jews.” The displacing of these people in 1947/48 is known in Arabic as The Nakba or the Catastrophe. What’s occurring in Gaza right now is being referred to by some a second Nakba. “People without a land and land without a people is not that dissimilar to the British calling Australia, Terra Nullius, for example. The land is deemed uninhabited even though it was not. But while Australia now accepts that it wasn’t, it is illegal to say that the Zionists are occupiers, colonialist settler-society or any such thing.

Recently learning that Mark Twain has a role in anti Palestine propaganda hurts my heart

Britain declared Australia was no man’s land when they invaded. Seems to be a thing to say when land grabbing.

You have to get the terminology right, so that it exculpates you from any criticism. Balfour declaration is not an irony, it’s the ultimate act of antisemitism as it provides a place for the Jews other than England. Remember that the first option on the table as a homeland was Uganda. We have a term in the UK called NIMBY, it stands for “not in my back yard” and creating a homeland elsewhere is a classic example!
Israel State was never based on religion. When you read the full story, Zionism didn't sell as well, and then Herzl realised he needed a religious drawcard, and with that appraoch, Balfour gave them a portion of Palestine. Right from the start, they sent more people there than what they agreed to, they took as much land as they could in 1948- hence the name occupied Jerusalem, occupied West Bank- they occupied Palestinian land , they stole it, after killing 15 000 people and forcing 750 000 Palestinians into refugee camps. 😔
Well said
it says in the koran itself. use the jizya to make the non moslem feel humbled and inferior ======= does nt look like you read your own holy book and spend more time reading history books! ====== if the purpose of the jizya was just to tax for non-military exemption, as you claim, why would God himself say the tax is to humiliate the non-moslems?

The CIA with money from Israhell and the Saudi bought all the party leaders and made a fake cases about him and his wife and jailed them for some fake crime and let the military took power! But the people in Pakistan are waking up and rising now.

_"Now and forever, our motto must be: 'Man, you are my brother.'""_
Clearly, Herzl would be as disappointed with today's Zionism as Lincoln would be with today's Republican Party.
Why does Herzl get to call the shots in a place with an existing sizeable population of a different way of life?
@@franco521 Herzl wanted a sanctuary for any Jew fleeing persecution. He made contact with rulers in Siberia, Uganda, Argentina and the Ottoman Empire, where Palestine was a province. Jews had already been settling there harmoniously alongside non-Jewish inhabitants. Until WWI, it was the Ottomans who "called the shots" there. After the war, and nearly 20 years after Herzl had died, that's when Zionism made its greatest departure from Herzl's dream.
@@Philip-0 Was Herzl's vision a state where Arabs and European Jews shared equal rights, voting and otherwise?

Hello-Im the Moschiach. I'm willing to declare all Pallestinians descendants of Jacob's twelve sons and are therefore just as rightfully heirs to the Holy Land as equal citizens.... One State Solution.
It wasn't a religious war he says. Palestinians did not revolt when they were ruled by Islamic Turks but when they were ruled by British Christians or Jews they certainly rose up in rebellion.
I wonder why they would revolt against the British? Why wouldn't they, the British army was evil. Death or freedom was the slogan of the colonies. Most colonies won their independence by fighting the British off.
May be Turks treated better than the British and Zio*ist? Also, as humans there is limit to shit we can take. So maybe they got tired of being oppressed and colonized.
maybe the Turks were not COLONIZING them?
meaning? not coming in and taking over their lands and homes
the british most certainly were, but importing HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS of non-native jews
@@user-et2ng1qb2m The vast majority of Palestinians were Christians before the Muslim invasion of the region. Most converted to Islam to avoid the penalties and persecution of their Muslim overlords.
I guess the discovery of oil in the Middle East was the main reason why the british colonial empire thought the necessity to create an entity that can prevent any free disposal of the regional countries of theirs ressources for their own development . When later on the US took the lead with full help and support the result is becoming what we are witnessing today .....

One state ? Pre 67 doesn’t seem right .
20 percent of the stolen land ?
Percent of land equal to percent of population at 1917 ? At 1948 ? I don ‘t hear any discussion on the
Viable solution . How could the land be split ?
Seems Israel has made that deliberately impossible .
So therefore one state should be forced . A forced end the apartheid , ethnic cleansing , Genocide .

Comment for the algorithm.
@@handsanitiser9832”Lebanon was never a country before French colonialism came and carved it out”
Hmm? Chapter 5 of 1 Kings, which was written thousands of years ago long before the time of the Franks, records a diplomatic deal between Solomon, king of Israel, and Hiram, king of Lebanon, in which Solomon traded wheat and olive oil for cedar imported from Lebanon (so that the cedar wood would help with the construction of the Temple to Yahweh in Jerusalem).
@@mechadoggy Your comment proves my point. It doesn't have to be a "country" with "borders" to exist, but can be a region/territory. This happens all the time. The "statehood" premise is diralect through and through. Areas change names all the time-look at street names in the U.S., or some city names. Doesn't mean ppl don't live there. Most of the countries of Europe are of recent invention, but you racists never seem to argue that those peoples don't exist, either. Palestine was an 'administrative entity' from 1920 to 1948, with laws, citizenship, currency, etc. It was also a state in the early iron age, and again during the Roman era. The Palestinians (or whatever you want to call them-people lived there) have the sociological markings of a unique culture: food, dialect, dance, and clothing. There are different ideas about borders, sovernty, etc.-doesn't mean ppl don't live there (look up mandates). Just ask ppl in the Virgin Islands-never founded, not a country or state, but a U.S. territory. Palestinians always lived there and are descendants of the netufians and canaanites, thousands of years before the Judaism. The fact you mentioned this alone proves you just repeat points. It doesn'tmatter if a border shifts, identity, language, religion, passport-ppl were always there. They had mayors, clean cities, laudatory universities and industries-again, people were there.

Palisttines have been living in Gasa since the days of Goliath.
So you mean the Philistines?
regardless of content, youtube will block anything they don't like.
Wonder they really invited a real Palestinian person to talk about Palestine instead off some American Jewish person or some European person to talk about Palestine?!!!!
Thank you. It's so important to discuss events a century ago instead of solutions for the problems today.
This type of thinking is why people claim the world started on October 7

What is a Zionist? Who is a Zionist? Polish and/or Russian only?
In Silver Spring, MD, you just live in a part of the county, Silver Spring has no true borders-look this up. @@handsanitiser9832 no one refuted that Arabs lived in the British mandate of Palestine( and before that) so don’t try to conflate things to “win” a point. @@simonyyy5877 Again, going back to my point, you're actually wrong about that not just historically, biologically (DNA proves the real Arabs are in Yemen), but sociologically!
The Zionist were in cahoots with the Nazis. That is historic fact. Not individuals. The entire Zionist collective.
Israel made the desert bloom 🇮🇱❤

That's the dumbest shit I've read today. You know your religion doesn't determine where you came from, right?
Zionism born in Ukraine by local ethnonationalists... Well isn't that a great thought for the current US narratives? 😂😂
