Very sad about scammers and those that are friendly only for the money. As an Indian if I ever emcounter such people I make sure they don't dare to scam anyone else. My dad once scolded one of the scammers so bad he was never seem again in that area. I just wish government would make strict laws against scamming and forceful selling. That's so irritating for anyone coming from outside.
Yes, it's disappointing when you find people are only interested in talking with you in the hope of extracting money from you. I hope they're able to find a better way through life.
I hope you had a good time. If you're still in pushkar, must try some local delicacies. "Malpua" is one of the famous and a delicious desert you'll find in pushkar. Mostly available everywhere but one of the best place to have it is near the main entrance of Gau Ghat.
That's great. Enjoy your stay and be careful of priests and other people who, very humbly forces you to offer prayers by putting flowers in the lake and demanding hundreds of dollars. @@fiascodagama1
If you liked this place the most instead of Mumbai you could do Hrishikesh/Dharamshala first (Winter is still not here in Mumbai). A hot coffee/tea by the ganga in Hrishikesh is pure bliss.
Its really amazing to see your content. You can try more of such scenic places, instead of the usual Delhi Mumbai kind of vlogs. These places are more than inviting.
Hi Mathew. Udaipur is next on this somewhat unpredictable route being taken. Not sure where after that, I'll look at your recommendations and see how they fit. Thanks.
I was talking to someone about it the other day and i'm quite conscious of it because I don't want it to be misinterpreted as being disrespectful, but it seems to automatically occur. There have been studies conducted on the subject and it seems to stem from a sense of empathy apparently. I'll be trying to remove it. Thanks for dropping by.
@@fiascodagama1 I don't think you need to remove it. I think it's just natural. I found myself saying "possible"? constantly in almost every sentence there.
Refreshing to see travelers other than the hippies with their dreadlocks and elephant pants. Not that there's anything wrong with those, but diversity is always welcome 😂 Also, if you use "namashkar" instead of "namaste", that will let locals know you know a bit more than your average visitor.
There's definitely a few of the hippie sort out this way, and throughout India in general, I guess. The alternative types would outnumber others in Pushkar, I'd say.

There seems to be quite a few cafes a couple of which I'm enjoying. I particularly like the guys at Funky Monkey for breakfast as they're a lot of fun and the food is very reasonably priced as well and efficiently made. I'll keep an eye open for La Pizzeria. Thanks.
Sending love from a fellow Australian who has just started her journey again after 25 years in Oz
Wow! It's looking adorable and attractive place and, Ayodhya and Varanasi are also a good place to visit
It really is a special place around Pushkar Lake. I think I'll spend a lot of time hanging out there while I'm here.
Yay ❤ I spent time in Pushkar 1991 it’s was awesome ❤ the light was full for the first time in 20 years a truly incredible experience. A must visit.

Sun set and sun rise is very beautiful near the Lake, and yes lot of street shops serve tasty food , market for shopping is also very cheap
I think the main market is one of the best value markets I've seen so far in India. And you're right, sunset at the lake is very special.

It's quite funny how your accent changes when speaking to Indians. I probably do the same when I'm there.

It's a lovely place to spend time, that's for sure.I'll be watching some sunsets there over the the next few days, I think. Thanks for saying hi, Ali.
