Reindog is so fun. Being able to bring over my fundamentals from maining Samus in ultimate really helps. It’s super fun to see people try to stumble around your projectiles and eat a combo when they approach incorrectly. It makes my day everytime Someone ragequits.
Kind of a niche thing I found on reindog, but if you space your down special right near the edge, it will clip the edge and fall straight down onto anyone hugging the wall
Reindog's down special where he spits a fireball is also an insanely great tool for creating space! Because it has a wide hitbox and slowly glides through the air, it limits the area at which an enemy can approach. You can also use it to set up combos. It moves slow enough that you can fire one off and as it glides through the air, knock an approaching enemy into it. I do that a lot. Also, an insane set up you can do to inflict a ton of damage is fireball an enemy, tether, then do a normal 1-2-3 combo. The enemy takes damage from burning, being hit stunned in tether and from Reindog's combo. It's insane if you pull it off!
I started using RD from the start and notice my damage is always the highest in most games. I just lack the KO follow up. I did learn a lot from this video tho! Thanks.
This should've been sectioned by parts. I'll see if I can just do that. This tutorial is VERY good, especially for those who have been having fun with the dog, but can't do much with him. Thank you so much for the tutorial, and all the info.
I think going over how you can animation cancel the neutral would've been extremely useful especially for newer reindogs because in 2's it makes it extremely easy to carry games.
@@kingcrom there are a couple methods such as jump canceling, and dodge canceling the neutral attack however the best and most consistent method I know is walk canceling basically, just bind a button to neutral attack and walk forward while spamming the button, this will allow you to attack around 2x as fast compared to just neutral spamming standing still. Obviously this cant be used in all situations but its a tool that has some good niche uses, especially in 2's.
Something you might know but I didn't hear you mention: Reindog can down special with no ammo, it's just that the fireball doesn't last forever. Still works almost just as well for aerial down specials tho!
Just hit 10k w reindog and it made me smile that I already knew most of these things. Great guide, gonna use the tips I didn’t know to take ur spot tho :P
Alot character have higher priority to rein dog. Recommended alot fireball. Fireball is great as well for character out side arena( you can give fireball up or down)
Thank you for the video helps a lot! Also I was wondering what you use to fast fall bc whenever I try to hold down air normal it always fast falls me to the ground for some reason
Disjoints are moves that have a hit box not connected to the characters hurt box. So for instance, Finn has really Disjointed moves because if you attack with his sword you can't hit his sword, so it makes the move safer to use.
man this seemed like such a good guide until you said its about having a fun, playing games is all about winning and being very stressed at anything minor
This character feels like garbage I can't approach with him and assassin keep beating my ass in singles. Finn players keep combo the shit out of me. I'm just waiting for arcade. In my opinion he feels like a expert

Nice vid! Glad to see our boy reindog getting some love, people sleep on him till you have 500 damage and all 4 ko's

Could you explain it?

My man, I’m pretty sure his name is pronounced “rain-dog,” as in a dog with reindeer antlers.
Thank you for the video helps a lot! Also I was wondering what you use to fast fall bc whenever I try to hold down air normal it always fast falls me to the ground for some reason
reindog on top
4% movespeed even on atacks?!
11:33 you say "it can be beat my disjoints(?)", what does that mean?
Disjoints are moves that have a hit box not connected to the characters hurt box. So for instance, Finn has really Disjointed moves because if you attack with his sword you can't hit his sword, so it makes the move safer to use.
Great Video!
Thanks alot, great guide!
Don't put water on it !
man this seemed like such a good guide until you said its about having a fun, playing games is all about winning and being very stressed at anything minor
Why use taunt when you have the best teabagging with Reindog in the game just spamming down?
