I love the idea of the teacher tool box and the pencil organizer! I struggled with both of these things as a first year teacher . Going into my 2nd year I’m definitely going to use it this school year !
I love this - there's no way to avoid pencil problems, but there are ways to avoid the frustration. I agree that grinding away at dull pencils at the end of the day and sharpening them is tremendously therapeutic! Thank you for sharing this idea. I put my pencil box at the back of the room with the tissues, the extra lined and graph paper shelves, and hand gel.

I use the pencil organizer and it was life changing!!! It was sooo much easier than my students asking me every time they needed a pencil, and they felt so good about being independent! Love it, thank you miss may❤️

I just found this video and your enegry made me smile. I am a homeschooling mom of 4 (5 but the oldest is 20). Were converting a shed into a classroom this summer. I have never seen the containers in black. It's a shame how much money teachers pay out of pocket to provide a well stocked and welcoming class.

I have a small Sterilite 3-Drawer system like the one you showed. I am trying to figure out a different approach for HS students that need pencils and was thinking about something like what you shared. Although, sometimes, the materials run off; so I am still debating my system for this school year coming up. Thanks for sharing!

This is only if they are in need of a specific crayon color that they may not have in their crayon/supply box. They put that c rayon back when they're finished. ((HUGS))
Yes....those pencils can be a pain. My kids have table groups so I just put some pencils in a bin on each table (if there are 4 in a group, their pencil basket will have about 8 pencils) and they just trade their broken pencil for a sharp one at their group. Works well for me. Yes, us teachers spend a lot of our own money. It's crazy! People don't even realize. New sub here. Love your channel!
