    The “cold start” lever is actually a decompression lever. When the engine is hot it releases compression as you kick to make it easier to start and not break your leg. Very nice bike. I bet your kids love it

    that little lever above the clutch is the hot start you use it when your bike his hard to start when you've already been riding it when it warm

      so you use it when it's hot?

    • @Fox40Racing
      @Fox40Racing 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, you pull it in and as soon as the bike starts you release it.

      Braden Gilson I see. Just curious why would a bike be harder to start when it's hot? I often have a hard time starting my bikes but I figured it's because I don't spend the money to have the valves adjusted etc...

      the hot start just helps by releasing some compression

    So transmission "fluid" is just motor oil?

  • @goinhot9133

    No drain bolt for transmission fluid? Tilt it to the side and flush it thru with new fluid until it’s coming out clean?

    Only use your hotstart on occasion, its not for cold.

    Hey brother advice needed here!Just bought this bike brand new from the dealership, and I cannot get the engine to start at all. Would you know why? Old fuel? Also, whats the secondary lever for above the clutch? I would appreciate your thoughts!

      That second lever for the clutch, it's called a "hot start lever" and you're supposed to pull it in when the engine is really hot, or when it's hot outside. I used to think it was for cold weather but somebody told me it's for hot. Have you tried pulling the choke out, there's a little black choke that needs to be on when it's cold.

      When I first got mine the air fuel was way out of tune so I had to change that before I could even get it to start. I know this won’t help you because it’s been a year but maybe others will find it helpful. I hope you got it running.

    so the little bolt under the transmission fluid is the oil check bolt? do i take that out until it starts to flow and if its too full wait for it to stop flowing? just curious

    • @SamMooreVision_for_Humanity
      @SamMooreVision_for_Humanity  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, exactly. Unscrew the transmission fluid check bolt (small bolt) and add transmission fluid or 10-40 motorcycle (ideally Honda approved motorcycle oil) into the transmission fluid add hole, until you see transmission fluid start overflowing through the hole from which you removed the small bolt. Once the transmission fluid starts coming out of that hole then you have it filled with transmission fluid/10-40 oil and you can put the bolt back in and replace the transmission fluid add cap. If you fill it too fast then you could over-fill the transmission fluid, so you should let all excess transmission fluid drain out the transmission fluid check bolt hole before replacing the check bolt.

    Hey man those black lines on the two minute mark just hanging out at the bottom, are they supposed to be there ? What are they for ? Thanks!

    • @guppy8143
      @guppy8143 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      sportdrinkfruitpunch yes I believe it’s there to keep rocks and stuff from coming up and chipping the back of the motor like they kinda have one in the front too

      Drain lines for carb

    • @racerbugg1
      @racerbugg1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      the one in the front is your coolant overflow, and william jewell is correct as the ones in the back are carb overflow lines.

    Decompression lever or “hot start” not a cold start. Something tells me you didn’t actually change the oil yourself otherwise you’d post a video of you doin so.

  • @aidenkoles7054

    It is called hot start

    There’s no such thing as a cold start switch .... it had a choke , and a hot start 🤣
