I haven't gotten to that part of the video yet but I'm confused by your comment. The creature must die to be returned as a land. The land has an ability to pay some mana and tap the land to transform it and it would be tapped as it transforms back into the god.
@@nickjoseph77 Spoiler Alert!!! The misplay greatly impacts the games setting and finishing a win that shouldn't have happened in the fashion it occurred.
I see what you're trying to say now with the god. The land doesn't untap upon transforming so Stephen attacked with a creature that should have been tapped multiple times.
Unfortunately it happens like this from time to time because they play with different cards every week and new cards every 2 months and no one closely reads what anyone else plays.

Can't say I really saw much of what the other commanders could do. It was essentially an entire episode of counter & bounce. Great to see everyone keep in the spirit pf things though.
I'd have kept it to Braids, Erayo, Leovold, and Rofellos, since they are the ones on the list for being powerful commanders. Griselbrand, Iona, and Emrakul are on the list due to being cheated out, not cast from the command zone. Lutri is banned for being a free companion and Golos got the hit for being the default 5C commander.
"let us know what you think of these commanders" yeah, uh, I would if I knew what they were. Please introduce them next time, or at least show the cards on the screen at the start?
Steven and Cory's got played, I believe Jeremy had Iona which basically says "Pick a color, lock that color from being played," banned for basically nuking mono-color decks. I don't actually know Jon's.
Did they take away the rule about losing a point if you don't cast your commander? I know Jeremy got one point for first blood but that is the only one I remember.
Stephen definitely deserves to lose a point for cheating 3 times. Varragoth tutors to the top and bat god is tapped when it transforms so it couldn't have attacked either time.
Steven had a number of misplays, and ultimately could have lost the game pretty easily. Think he should lose a point, not because I believe he did it out of malice, but because I feel that game is a toss up, rather muddy who the winner would have been had the misplays not occurred.
I've played technically 2 illegal commanders, first was making lorescale coatle as a commander which was a funny deck, and also Phiobie from unstable as a commander which was the only deck one of my old buddies hated

The current banlist needs to be removed and rebuilt from the ground up. Rofellos is the only Commander that doesn't make you 100% kill on sight at a table, while: Griselbrand would be focused solely because of the assumed turbo [Even though K'rrik would be better with Grisel in the 99], Iona would be focused because people would assume there's a Painter's Servant in the 99, and Erayo would be focused because Blue AND the flip. In the 99, I can only see Erayo being an actual threat in the 99 because there's a high likelihood of it just being a controlly Blue deck is high, where as Iona would still be high enough cost to be enough to hinder it unless you planned on trying to power/cheat it out, and Grisel would lead to more draw hate in the format. Rofellos is just what Green already does: Big dumb mana. And of the four, I rather just have Iona for the 99 of my Jodah deck.
As someone who has this discussion quite often I can tell you the banned list really isn't that bad. Most of the cards on there are there out of necessity or for the spirit of the game. While there are likely a few cards that could sneak off the list its unlikely mostly due to fear of being abused to easily. Gotta respect Corey putting the giant target on his head by showcasing why that commander is banned.
As if the others needed more reason to just attack Corey. This is just like when everyone just attacked Justin all the time. So boring.
The fact Corey did what he did on his turn 2, yeah, that is a fine candidate to show why Erayo is a banned card
Corey should have been allowed to play Emrakul.
It's funny at the end of the game Corey goes "Mana crypt should be banned". And here we are :)

Why is Stephen sacrificing kill spells? He could have killed Cory's commander while he only had 2 cards in hand (meaning he couldn't immediately flip)
Corey's commander flipped into an enchantment and was no longer a creature
Even if it was a creature, spellskite could redirect any resolved kill spell and then emry can even reanimate the spellskite on corey’s following turn
