I always put this on when I need a mental reset. Usually I'll sit in total darkness while listening to be fully present in the moment. I like to picture these moments like I've gone to the pause menu/loading screen in a game; it's a small break from reality where I get to reflect over where I am and what I strive for. It's very comforting.
I remember playing Maria’s chapter in Silent Hill 2. As much isolation as I felt in James’s chapter, this chapter I felt even more isolation. Something so odd, creepy and yet calming. Poor Maria deserved better. The mansion scared me shitless as a child. They truly don’t make games like this anymore. But the music behind this picture, is just pure bliss. Thank you for uploading!
I could seriously listen to this one endlessly. I’ve mostly listened to Zerofuturisms silent hill ambience but this is by far my favorite.

I feel so too. When I first started listening earlier I was flooded with memories as well, interestingly from clubbing. Certain tracks in trance and other electronic genres have a similar background vibe. I like it very much!
