Ha ha, I wish I'd got one too... sadly I wasn't quick enough! Internet wisdom says that the Hello Kitty is the same as the Fender Hammertone Fuzz without the octave part of the circuit... but I wanted that cuteness 😉 Ah well. The Flight Delay also looks fantastic, and I hope to try one soon! Happy new year to you and thanks for watching 😊
Solid vid guys! I liked that Iceman when I tried it out. Those HB guitars look really cool too 🤘 I agree on the Pod Express also, great versatile piece of gear, tried it on a whim and I bought it on the spot 👍
Another great video with so much useful information! This year, I bought the 30" baritone from gear4music and my new 2x12 upsizing cabinet with a BN12-300-S in the bottom position and a Thick Boy 300w from OverTonez Audio in the upper position from Barefaced Audio...and a used Proco Rat pedal. For next year, I have some pedals on my list, like the Origin Effects Halcyon Blue and the Snobels Tone Daily Driver Boost. I also want to create a new pedalboard for the more heavy and progressive rock, stoner and doom sounds, that's why I bought this new cabinet. There are still so many wonderful pedals on my list from 2023 and 2024... fuzz, distortion, overdrive, delay and reverb and modulation pedals... I like to experiment with effect pedals to get inspiring sounds and there are a lot of good possibilities. I'm looking forward to the Guitar Summit 2025 and I think it will be a very interesting and inspiring year for guitar players. I wish you all the best for the next year 2025. Maybe we'll see each other at Guitar Summit 2025.
Yamaha need to refine the Pacifica. They have lost so much ground to Ibanez (AES) and Harley Benton. A new 112 with roasted maple neck, tusq nut and switching options is needed.
Yep, there's definite room to update the Pacifica. I really think an 'Element' model would be a good start, and depending on how that goes they could do more with the classics. But you're right, these days there is so much choice in that style/price range that ISN'T Pacificas any more... which wasn't the case a few years back! I'm excited to see what Yamaha does with this in 2025...
