It's great that there are finally up to four Old Cab Cars running at once, because for months until now, there were only three. And of course, maybe we could get up to five again with the impending much-anticipated return of 503. 4:37 I'm serious. I think having seen 501 in person back in October last year has mentally stuck with me so tight, that as it tooted its K5LA right here in the video, I can actually SMELL it, and it doesn't go away if I replay it. It smells like Train Smell but better. Also, I love that transition between shots at 12:31.
501 was out of service for 6 entire years from 2016 to 2022 until it finally returned, but ever since it returned, it's been quite active. Its K5LA is especially loud compared to most of the others, and sounds unique because the 5 bell is tuned especially sharp.

Is 501 rare to see, I once had a engineer at tri rail running 501 blast it like crazy near the airport. need to upload that
