When my girls were younger, 3 and 4, they started telling me when they were near a stranger and tell me "mommy, that man looks like a bad man." and I reply with a whisper "you are probably right. Listen to yourself." as they grow, I explained it is their intuition, and its a built in to our nervous system to help us stay safe. Sean Finnegan is exactly the type of man they would whisper to me about.
Reading comments like this is why I put myself through the torture of taking in true crime - so I can learn these basic truths, to share with my children, to help protect them and enable them to protect themselves better in the future when I'm not in charge of their protection. There is a lot to be said from keeping away from low-life types, and doing whatever you can to get to a safer community and better standard of living for yourself and your family. Poverty, abuse and neglect, and systemic societal failures help to breed such psychopathic sadist degenerates as Finnegan. Get out of poverty and as far away from people living hard lives as you can. Have also learned: if solo mum, don't date until child is at least 16, that's about the minimum age they should be safe from child predators masquerading as a decent boyfriend. Try to associate with people who are educated and have financial security, find a community that is better off in this way. And of course listen to your instincts, if you feel a sense of dread or unease around someone, it will be because you sense something is seriously wrong with that person and they are a danger to you - get away from these people immediately and permanently. I like this "you are probably right. Listen to yourself". And I like to explain to my kids it is only about this much (small pinch of fingers) of bad people in the world, and the rest of the people (both arms spread wide) are good people just trying to live a happy life in this beautiful world, and the small percent of bad people can do a lot of damage, but it is only a small percent, and most of us are all good. I am glad we live in a day and age where a potential serial murderer is caught on his first attempt (e.g. Brian Kohbeger), the police are so much more equipped now to find offenders, also society is much more aware of how to keep safe. Society does need to consider long term consequences of rising crime and the inability to house offenders in prison for life. I mean, does prison re-habilitate people anyway?
@@MissCarlizzle what about the pastors, politicians, youth leaders, philanthropists ect. Money and social standing has nothing to do with who is a predator or isn't. I hate how this defence attorney blaming Kelsey for not calling the police, like sure it would have been great if she rang but it's not her fault... Gotta love how they try blaming innocent people, if she saw something yes she absolutely should have but she didn't she only heard something, if it's a noise you never hear then you hear a strange noise would be ideal to call the police it may be nothing then it may be something... *Edit* I hope Mahogany never stops being her, she seems to care a lot about others... Lots of men who kidnap women to use for their own motives have a female accomplice (Jaycee Duggard, Elizabeth Smart, etc.). Rebecca was not Sean's first accomplice. The way Sean asked Rebecca "do you want to kidnap her"? That sounds like this was a lifelong pattern of Sean's. Sean used women he could manipulate, simple minded, desperate, drug addicts, alcoholics, prostitutes, single moms, those who are vulnerable & alone, etc. And Sean's victims were any female that crossed his path, including children. Probably so many victims, dead women, body parts & witnesses everywhere Sean has been the past 35 years. The way Sean threatened his neighbor, saying he would kill him, and staring him down with police on the way. That's frightening. The lengths Sean would go to, and has gone to, in order to keep his secrets from being exposed.

There are two shining examples in this whole sordid mess. Colt and his wife Mahogany. Colt put himself in harms way to help a woman of Dv. Without Mahogany’s intervention, who knows how this story would’ve turned out? How many more lives lost and young women destroyed..,
Keep in mind, she was elderly, could be hard of hearing, maybe she had the TV on in her room 24/7, or the radio, some do.. It's also possible she was covering for her son by "not hearing."
IMHO as a former art therapist with children and adolescents, my experience tells us that parents are often the original gangsters and the immediate persons including extended family all part of the show. Think of theater, forgiving the distancing in this case. This happens at all levels of society in many different ways. Peace out Scouts 😅😢

Watching this a bit late - but, just wanted to tell you, Gisela, how much I appreciate your presence and comments. I love this community, and it's a credit to you ❤❤❤
For context (because I used to drive that way to school), Claiborne county (shelter) is about an hour from Knoxville or about 1.5 hours from Oak Ridge. Mahogany looked a pretty far distance for that shelter.
Mz.G thank you for the un fluffy court Livestreams and how thoughtful and gracious you are in your presentation of these hard stories. Justice for Jennifer 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Whoooah! During Mahogany's preview testimony in front of the judge, she said Rebecca told her "HE killed Jennifer, - at the time she didn't tell me her name - and that SHE used shoestrings, a pair a' shoestrings, to choke her" 👀 😢 R.I.P Jennifer 💜💐
The "not my business" people really piss me off. The first lady was even asked if she'd report something that MIGHT be a m*rder & she said, "Probably...yes?" Probably? I loathe people like this.
I so appreciate your content. I watch a lot of cases whilst working. Sometimes, and in this type of case, it too much for me to watch alone without the community and context you provide. Thank you.
He is so creepy looking and those eyes. He looks like he's throwing daggers at that female attorney. That young lady that lost her life. How sad she's so pretty like you said, no one should die like that, not for any reason. He is very nervous plus they shouldn't just let him look at the pictures. He's probably reminiscing about the day. It even happened such a creep.
I would like to point out that people who see or hear a situation where someone might be in danger should ask themselves "if I was in this situation wouldn't I want someone to "make it their business" to prevent a possible tragedy?" I truly hope that a stranger or not-even-a-stanger would make that call if I'm ever in that situation. RIP Jennifer ❤️
I had to jump out for company stopping by. Watching now as replay team. It’s going to be hard to phantom that he is not guilty. Rebecca was not there to remove frozen body from freezer. She plead guilty to all charges and admitted her participation. They were in it all together.
I don’t know a word in the English language to describe this defendant. He’s revolting. I hope he gets similar treatment by the other inmates in prison.
G and the bear cubs are the best true crime folks on youtube. Always a class act. I was so glad to be seeing her pretty face and not the face of that psycho at the end. She was beautiful and held all the potential in the world even tho she struggled w addiction. She should have had a chance to live free of darkness and struggle. She deserved to have the chance to get better for her family. I have a loved one that made it home from the streets. Recovery is possible! They were all robbed of that when this roach and roachlette took her from them.
so far behind in live stream I'm in replay now😮 When sgt craig testified, it's so obvious that so far every LEO looks traumatized, even this many years later. i hope they will get some therapy after having to relive this
I appreciate that this horrific crime-amidst the level of darkness involved-reminds me there are people like Mahogany who exist. And how she didn’t let fear of it ‘not being her business’ stop her and also that despite her husband not wanting to get involved, still ended up supporting his wife and just how these things truly do point out not just the worst but also the best of what us human beings are capable of.
Colt Pekoc! That is what is wrong with the world today people don’t talk to their neighbors and don’t interact! The reason behind it is ANTI Social media! Back in the day living in Boston, we knew all of our neighbors. I knew everybody that lived on the street and we always sat on our porches and talked. Everybody always said hello nowadays people walk by with their heads down which is super weird.
Great coverage as usual G.! I really enjoy your format and you make it so easy for those of us who watch replay with your excellent time markers and explanations! Thank you! 💜💜💜🙏🏻
Had to leave mid-afternoon, catching up now. This is really revolting stuff, but I want to support that poor family. It’s just unspeakable what she suffered. 💜💜💜
As hard as it is to watch such trials, it is very important that we as the public need to see what dangers and types of people that are around us and playing out in daily life - we need to look out for each other better than we have - but public court trials are an important part of our way of life here.
His (Defense Attorney) questioning of Rebecca , he’d constantly say you lied about that didn’t you. He did call her a liar by asking you lied didn’t you?
Where was his mother when these pair were torturing Jennifer? She’s bound to have known 🤬 evil to the core the lot of them! Love and thoughts to Jennifer’s family having to process her last moments 😭💜

It bothers me that this case isn't more well known and that there's not more known about Jennifer. All I know is the few things that they have said that happened to her at the end of her life and I'm sure that was the worst part about her life... And I've only seen like one picture of her 💔

@@GrizzlyTrueCrime Right??!? 🤔
The "not my business" people really piss me off. The first lady was even asked if she'd report something that MIGHT be a m*rder & she said, "Probably...yes?" Probably? I loathe people like this.
He's being fed too well, look at his stomach!!
Mahogany is a Grizzly!!
I so appreciate your content. I watch a lot of cases whilst working. Sometimes, and in this type of case, it too much for me to watch alone without the community and context you provide. Thank you.
I’m catching up after listening during work. OMGoodness the look on your face when the first text was read. Lau😅😂😂😂
Can you imagine finding out this was your neighbor??
He is so creepy looking and those eyes. He looks like he's throwing daggers at that female attorney. That young lady that lost her life. How sad she's so pretty like you said, no one should die like that, not for any reason. He is very nervous plus they shouldn't just let him look at the pictures. He's probably reminiscing about the day. It even happened such a creep.
Griselda is also wearing a Purple Heart necklace !
I’d like to know what happened to the poor children they victimized.
Why does this guys eyes remind me of Stephan Sterns?
Yes!!!! Evil dark eyes
Omg yesss!!! Evil empty pits….
yes... soulless eyes
Because they both have black soulless eyes . They are hard cold and lack softness and emotion . They have the sociopathic stare . Chilling
I was thinking the exact same
I think the Judge hates this case.
The mother passed away in August 2021, there us. Funeral home notice if death but no written obituary , no service announced euther
Wondering if he bugs his eyes out there in order to get a lesser outcome from insanity?
Wow. No one can ever accuse this defense attorney of not trying everything possible to defend this man. Whew.
The Judge is a darling
50:25 omg i thought this was a still of him and then he finally blinked.
5:45:24 Like poor lil Harmony... The refrigerator was her resting place for a time.
so far behind in live stream I'm in replay now😮 When sgt craig testified, it's so obvious that so far every LEO looks traumatized, even this many years later. i hope they will get some therapy after having to relive this
1:18:30 exactly! That was shocking to hear about Rebecca’s CNA’s role.
Love ur channel and ur hard work
“Wasn’t my business”.
Wonder what happened to the mother. SO MANY SICK PÈOPLE IN THIS WORLD .
Mother passed in 2021. She was in hospice care when this happened
Other than the defense attorney defending this freak, he's a good attorney. Attention to detail.
Seeing the freezer seemed to evoke some kind of emotion.
I love Mahogany's husband. "I don't care to know them" on his neighbors. Same brother same. He is likable and believable.
that is pure evil to take a life disgusting i hope the poor soul gets justice
I’m a new subbie and wow I love watching live court cases with your commentary and facial expressions, such a great community!
Me too, catching up with you!
Poor defense attorney, has a case with bad facts and a horrible defendant. Ain’t no way you can excuse behavior like that.
His mom should be in jail too. As if she didn't know. And to tell Sean his gf is trying to leave. Gross old lady imo
Psychopathic narcissist often have enabling mothers, especially
@@tinazaccagna1459Yep. I think the mom is deceased circa 2021. However she knew what was going on. Screaming out the window at Rebecca.
His mother covered him since childhood!!!! She knew 💯 that he was off! And did bad things!!!
Where was his mother when these pair were torturing Jennifer? She’s bound to have known 🤬 evil to the core the lot of them! Love and thoughts to Jennifer’s family having to process her last moments 😭💜
4:31:34 G!! You were ON POINT!! Thanks.
Willow didn't stick around for Rebecca's texts lol wise cat.
so glad I bought a Bluetooth speaker for under £10 on Amazon. not only can I tuck it into my mobility scooter and hear clearly on dog walks.. I can listen whilst I'm weeding the garden AND in the shower....AND TH-cam Premium is worth every penny
It bothers me that this case isn't more well known and that there's not more known about Jennifer. All I know is the few things that they have said that happened to her at the end of her life and I'm sure that was the worst part about her life... And I've only seen like one picture of her 💔
