I think what they could have done with the corn is embed wires into each fold. Like those slap bracelets that were popular awhile ago. :0 That way you can get a satisfying cracking sound as you pull back the corn, aaaand the corn stays open if you want it to.

The packaging of each one actually has a unique code on it which identifies which one is inside. It matches the code that is printed on the fidget itself. So for anyone looking for a particular one, so long as you know the code you’re guaranteed to get the one(s) you want.
Jackie, my guess is your friend knew that so made sure to pick out at least one of each design.
It was ordered online and then delivered to my friend. So it seems the delivery person chose wisely😭

@@typicallyusual6984 Yeah I also hate not knowing as well. Especially if it’s a specific one or two I am after. I’ve definitely seen a video on TH-cam that clearly shows you which code goes with each one. It’s a quite a long video but was excellent for helping pick out the ones I wanted.
@@reubenbryant Yeah I got #15 which was screw! I love it and have been playing with it since I bought it yesterday. Super satisfying to turn it upside down and watch it unscrew and then right side up again and watch the top go down.

She can maybe glue some Velcro into the corn one, that was disappointing, makes you just want to slap that corn. They should make one that sparks like a lighter with no fuel, so it just sparks and lights up inside the pod. Maybe those not safe for children though

Hi Jackie! The pods have codes on them. Every pod has a specific number at the end of the code that tells you what pod you got. This way you can collect them all without getting doubles!

As always SO much fun - I scared my dog when I applauded the arrival of the corn. Then, wah-hah! Disappointment for us all. I had such hope for it and then, blah. My favorite was the 'turn' cuz I could be quiet or obnoxious, my second fave is the 'vis' for pretty much the same reasons :) Thank you for sharing the laughter and fun with us grains.

I've seen that crinkle pen around, and apparently its kind of sucks lol. Its easily damaged, and the ink isn't replaceable so once its been used you just have to throw the whole pen out :/
It was updated just before full launch to have replaceable ink. It does state that its main function is as Art and has to be handled correctly to avoid damage.
@@chronicgaming3280 the replaceable ink thing is cool! I'm just not really a fan as I don't entirely understand what the intended audience is. its a pen that you can't really use much because its art that's easily damaged, and the whole point is that it does that crinkle thing but you also can't do that much because its easily damaged. I personally just wouldn't drop money on something I'm not allowed to use

I like watching these. Not sure about your fidget box. I can’t see paying $10 a fidget when only two are usable fidgets. The squishy plush isn’t functional as a pocket fidget. Definitely don’t need stickers, and I remember you opening the Mini designer bags and not seeing the stickers included in there as “items”. Interested if you do another version with more fidgets or a better value for $
I got some of these and I can say at the very least you can avoid some doubles based on how the pod feels in your hand (not looking for something with loose shaky bits? You can find out by shaking it yourself, obviously) or the fact that the one that looks like a grenade with deployable helicopter wings (edit: the "Popup" one) is longer than the rest so the packaging itself also has to be longer, so you can always avoid them. (edit: I don't like that one simply because you can't press the button while your fingers are blocking any of the 'propellers', so you can't just hold it in your hand)
These also have a UPC code that is specific to each type! So as long as your store has them all, you should be able to get whatever you want.
They sell these in Smyths Toy Store in the UK, my daughter really wanted the keyboard bar and got it first try. I went for a pod and wanted the clicker from series one but only had series 2 available and I got the corn (peel), was very disappointed I must say… 🙈
You can also get a carry case for the pods, it has two exclusive ones inside it but it’s always out of stock when I look xx

I got a few of these a while back and I honestly ended up pretty exclusively messing with the screw one. It's so easy to hold in one hand while in calls and meetings and is pretty quiet, but still has the click for when you're on mute haha.
I think that one is #15 on the packaging and that’s the one I like the most from what I’ve seen. It’s good to know that that’s the one you ended up using the most. I saw these pods at my local Walmart, so hopefully they have #15!

Am I the only one surprised Jackie didn't get what she didn't want at the start. She always start the mystery packaging to something she didn't like and then proceeded to get it a lot. Is it just me?
I was also very excited for corn.. one way to improve it would be to have deeper groves in the corn and mirrored lines in the silicone that go in them. So then when you pull the husk, you feel it more, it stretches a little, and maybe makes a little sound.

Why was I squealing when I saw the green and yellow for the corn? My husband looked at me like I was crazy and all I could say was "She got the corn!" That made my day!
These are way better than the previous ones! I can see myself fidgeting with any of these (even the puzzle), but I think I'd enjoy the screw the most - it had a nice twirl. The velcro one was a new idea, I haven't seen similar toy before - but it loses points for me because you can't use that silently, and although I rarely annoy myself with my own fidgeting sounds, I surely would annoy anyone nearby.
The noise the orange one makes it so very nostalgic! Reminds me of the disposable cameras from my childhood/teens.

I was hoping so hard that you'd get the corn one, too bad it was so disappointing! But at least you got a full set, and a double of one of the ones you liked most. I agree, the corn should have had something like wire or something pose-able in it, that would have been much more satisfying. My favorite one is actually the puzzle one !!! I also LOVE the velcro one !!! You can mix the balls up in the track of the puzzle and then try to get them back in the right order with the same matching colors together with the same color of the plastic part of the puzzle.
With the velcro one, you can press each pull down part back into where it came from so that it makes it a little bit harder to pull it down the next time that you play with it.
On the puzzle one,you can put all of the matching colors together and then mix them up and put them back together again. If you play with it for a while, it becomes easier to move the pieces around so that it's NOT so difficult to move them . I try not to get so frustrated with them and I try not to give up on them so quickly, either and I give them a chance to loosen up during play time with them.
On the corn one , (which I didn't get - oh well) I was wondering if maybe you could push it down like you did with the one that has the orange silicone panels on it that pop out and spin a little bit . I wonder what it would do if you did that ? Maybe it would do nothing - or maybe it WOULD do something !!!! It's worth a try to see if it does anything at all. I don't know if it does anything or not because I don't have one. I also don't have the one that screws up and down. Oh well. I keep on trying to get that one, but I end up with copies of the previous versions of the ones that I already have. I would LOVE to have the ones that I don't have now, but I am on disability checks and I don't have any extra money to be able to keep on buying them and getting copies of the ones that I already have.

Please suggest ways to make art with some of these sphere/dome/capsule packages. All these unboxings leave such interesting “trash” and they’re as bad on the environment as any other plastic.

I think for the corn if they made the silicon have grooves that like fit between the corn kernels that made it stick more it would have been better. Like you'd have to press it back in but it would be more satisfying? Also like softer silicone so when you pull the top, it doesn't just hinge on the bottom where there's less material because of the little holes at the end of the slits? Idk i feel like i could make a better version

I have the screw one and if you take the part that is clear and hold on to it then open it push it down on fabric then lift it up and repeat it is very calming and satisfying. Hope this helps
