Consider that the bracelet ones are mostly for portability, then can be removed and played with when wanted. It's sort of like having it on a keychain but more fashionable/fun.
The pop-it bracelets are designed more for portability. That way you always have it available and you take it off to play with and then put it back on when you're done. It's actually a clever idea.
I agree with you fully Jackie. A mystery box, service or advent, should allow you to sample every aspect of the interest(like fidgets or chocolate brand) versus duplicates. Like a charcuterie board.
The sticky/sucky duplicates are because they are so you can build strucktures with them. They are usually sold in packs of 10+ so i see why they put so many in. But i also get that it is frustrating to get doubles if they are only used for figet and not building :)
@@rabeaw6646 Jackie did mention that there's nothing wrong with duplicates as long as they're given within the same compartment instead of spreading them into many different compartments especially if they're consecutive compartments.
@@slimz9928 how is that a weird comparison. Its my opinion and its genuinely honest. If its an advent calendar I wouldn't expect duplicates, but I'd expect to try a little bit of every type of fidgit in the box.
@@rabeaw6646 I agree to but what she is saying about building is that you can do it but it's not meant for it but it's an I sea so yeah not being mean or anything though but you can build with them
The suction cup ones are “squigz “ we use them in our classroom all the time! My children love them! As far as having multiples it’s because you can build off of each of them and make things out of them. I would have actually been mad getting only 3 pieces lol
I would have been upset too if I had gotten only a few of the building ones !!!! They actually have a set of those things that you can buy at Walmart ! I don't remember the name that is on the box though. As for the other one with the suction cups on it that you squeeze together and pop them apart, I think that THAT one would hurt my hand from squeezing it so much.
To answer your question of “what odd things do other people dislike but you like receiving”, I absolutely love those cheesy kitchen utensil gifts with like the prints on them and whatnot. The ones you may use as a stocking stuffer and whatnot. Absolutely adore them. They’re usually not the most practical, but I’m usually always needing an extra spatula amidst my crazy cooking and baking and frankly a lot of the designs make me smile. Personal favorite so far is a teeny tiny set of tongs that look like tiny hands. Literally useless unless you’re picking up popcorn, but any time I see them I just grin from ear to ear. I’ll use them to flip a steak if need be (even if it’s a challenge).
We use the tiny hands to eat snacks so our real hands don't get cheedle (cheese residue from Cheetos, Doritos, or cheesy popcorn) or something. We also collect those design patterned kitchen utensils! The cheesier and gaudy the better. I especially love my set of Halloween and Day of the Dead ones I keep in a lidless Nightmare Before Christmas cookie jar right in plain view on my counter. We are THAT weird family.

I think it's kinda nice to have a range of resistance on the popping ones. Most people are probably fans of the firm/noise ones but the really soft ones would let someone with similar/worse joint discomfort be able to enjoy them too, potentially for longer fidget sessions. Just a thought :)
On the plus side, this would be a good advent calendar for families that have multiple children who may fight over the fidget toys and can only afford one calendar (even a ridiculously expensive one).
But you only get one a day so you only get to open it once and only one kids gets to play with the new one straight away. Just get two of the cheaper one or two chocolate calendars and just buy fidget toys. Kids can try them at the store and then spend $10 buying ones they’ll actually use instead of having 24 and only using half of them.
the point of the bracelet is for those that have sensory issues and tend to mess with their arms a lot have something they can press instead of their arms. And the fact it doesn't stay down is handy because they can do it as many times as they want in a row instead of doing it once then going back to their own skin. My sister has that issue a lot.
Oh, I'm in with you for team socks for Christmas, especially if it's cute stockings. But I absolutely adore getting plushies, this is something that will never change!

I think the bracelets are meant to carry them around, and when you want to fidget, you take them off. Not sure if that would work in practice, but that might have been the idea.
Last year my husband filled my stocking with plant seeds, toe socks, and Ferraro Rocher chocolates and it was legitimately the best stocking I've ever gotten in my entire life (including my childhood), hands down.

I would love all kinds of "weird" stocking suffers and gifts. For example: * Halloween items (Halloween is my favorite holiday) * Horror items (I love the genre) * Gift cards to quality witchy stores * Stuffed toy cryptid characters * Real pirate items (like coins) * Tarot and Oracle decks (with booklets or accompanying books, if applicable)
My favourite holiday is Halloween too and we don't even really celebrate it here in NZ. I also celebrate every Friday the 13th with horror movies because I love horror movies so why not 😁 Plus my friends indulge me in it, by celebrating with me, so it's their fault for enabling me hehe
@@mandapanda2847 Don't let that stop you from celebrating! Put on a costume, buy yourself some candy (or something small you like), and watch horror movies! Here's an idea: Start a campaign to celebrate Halloween in your area, and spread it to bigger areas, and get the whole country or even continent celebrating it! Research Halloween and Samhain, grab/create some memes to educate and entertain others, and keep promoting it. Start with a group of people who would love to do the same.
@@EclecticGreyWitch I should clarify lol. It is celebrated to a point and there are small events and friends that host parties but it's no where near as full on as it is in the US. Plus the decorations available to buy are very sub par lol. But I'm working on my own Halloween/horror decorations, toys etc and some with a kiwi theme so yeah I'm working on it hehe
Thank you as usual for your wholesome content! I made my nieces and nephew custom advent calendars this year, your videos helped a lot in deciding what to put inside the little bags 💜
My grandmother made me an advent calendar and every year my mum puts stuff in it. I like it because it goes to the 25th instead of just the 24th. One year my mum put like mini highliters and stuff in it but it’s easier to just put chocolate in and I enjoy the chocolate more. I never used those mini highliters but I enjoyed my mini toblerone this morning.
Maybe the bracelet ones are meant to be taken off before you play with them? The bracelet function might just be for making it more portable since it won’t take up space in your pockets.
Maybe the bracelet in #1 is just to have a place for you to bring it with you, so you don't lose it like say at school. I know some schools don't let kids have backpacks in class so having somewhere to keep it in between might be why it's like that.
just a small clarification over the rubix cube, if the movement is too stiff it's NOT a good rubix cube, the good quality ones are smooth and have like a little spring to them. Overall, great video as always hehe.
Hi Jackie! Those little suction cup things, there is a brand name version called Squigz. Those are the mini kind, but they also make large versions, both in rainbow colors and in glow in the dark.
As someone who owns a bracelet, I have found two things. 1) it’s not friendly for kids. It’s huge on me and I’m a big woman putting it on the smallest setting. 2) I wear my inside out which makes it have a much louder pop noise. I sit outside and take it off- pop it, and put it back on. I don’t wanna carry a large disk in my purse, and I am prone to loose small little tiny things. Big enough I won’t lose it, small enough I’m not deemed as a kid with a fidget toy.
If she likes socks and she likes doing advent calendar-type things then she would love the boxes of “7 days/14 days of socks” where they give you a different pair of socks each day
@@rachelcookie321 It depends on the company. Some of them are plain, some are cutesy, some are Christmas themed, and I’ve even seen ones based on movies/TV shows
The suction cup fidgets you got 3 of reminds me of a building block set I got my girls called squigs. I could see the extra set distracting for longer! Well you got doubles and triples in some boxes, but does that qualify for double the price? Nay, I say, as you can get much cheaper sets with the same collection. My daughter got a tea set advent calendar off Amazon that she is loving. The flavors are amazing and the sayings are uplifting. You might like for real life, not video content.
For Christmas, I love any type of crafts... anything works (I guess that’s why I’ve discovered this channel). But for a ‘weird’ vibe, I absolutely don’t mind kitchen stuff (as a woman, I know it’s often not appreciated, but personally, no biggie, I love it).
I think the bracelets are so you have it with you when you need it, like the keychains, so you take it off to fidget with it. :) however I could be wrong. Did you notice your 3rd compartment of duplicates had a 3 sided instead of a four sided? It may be broke.
When you have watched so many NerdECrafter videos, you catch yourself making the stressed face...🤣 Love you Jackie and keep being awesome 💗 Happy Holidays from Hawaii ☃️
It’s weird seeing people open these with day one. When I was younger I had something similar but we counted down to Christmas. So we would start at day 24 and work our way down to day 1. But either way I still enjoy these videos and Jackie’s reaction to what is inside the boxes.
'This is obnoxious... I love it!` 🤣 🤣 Triplicate fidget toys is not on for an item that expensive. 😩 Your distractability makes me think you may be a cat in human form. 🤣❤️ I always like coffee and Lush stuff for Christmas, but I like being surprised. My Dad started receiving my presents this week and I went in my bedroom while he lit them in a cupboard I can't get to as I don't even want a clue what shape it might be! 😁
Something like that would be great if you had multiple children in the family, or even a classroom. Everyone could take turns opening doors and sharing the doubles. But just one person, the doubles would be infuriating. There are so many other types of fidgets that could be contained in that calendar: fidget cube, infinity cube, tangle teaser, chewellery, different types of spinners, something magnetic, the wooden snake type fidget, I could go on.
hi Jackie I just wanted to say that this “$75” advent calendar I have seen on Amazon for $40 so I’m just saying that I kinda think it might be worth it if you get it on Amazon :) btw I love you videos
NGL I love the bracelet idea. Working with special needs kids, it would be amazing to have something they were unlikely to accidentally leave somewhere else in the school.
The fidget spinner probably has more issues with the fact that they replaced the weights on it with the popper pieces than the bearing itself. No weight to keep the spinner going.
Something that I love to get on Christmas is new like cloth hangers which surprisingly people find weird I’m always like “ hey ! A girl wants a nice selection of hangers to hang her clothes on so it looks neat in her closet “ ( trust me if you come to my house and you accidentally see the inside of my closet , bye bye . U will leave immediately)
I actually really enjoy getting gifts of necessity for Christmas. For example, I have detergent pods, tennis shoes, and printer ink on my Christmas list this year.
I do that for Christmas too. It makes it easier when trying to tell people what to give me instead of just saying a gift card (which would probably be used for that stuff anyways)
As a person who gets distracted easily for the people that can’t afford fidget toys you should get a slinky because those are quiet it’s not so distracting to forget what you are doing and if you can be flexible to things you can just deal with it and I have a slinky and I don’t ever go home without it anymore it’s really nice 😁
I told my parents this year i want a bucket of dirt, moss, foam and popsicle sticks. after that, they said "go into the woods and take a bucket with you" :D i actually want more surplies to sculp and build houses with garden xD
While I only keep dirt for my plants, I’ve amassed a great collection of such supplies from my local dollar stores. For some interesting ideas - especially if you want to incorporate some man-made elements (abandoned fountain/well) check out Black Magic Craft’s channel (particularly his Beginner playlist). Could also be a fun project for Jackie - using budget materials to create terrain/diorama elements. :) (he’s also Canadian)

Yall gonna love this one. Growing up i was always teased by my family for loving baked beans so much that one year i was given a can of baked beans for Christmas and honestly it was the best gift ever!! XD
If my parents gave me chicken nuggets for Christmas id be so happy fr
This is very amazing!! Keep up the work!NerdEcafter! You’re my favorite youtuber

“This has a very *gummyesque* feeling to it.”
I think jackie created a new word and i love it.
Just like me making up random words with random letters
I got my very first mesh ball for only a dollar at Five Below yesterday, I don't think I'd ever get a Fidget Advent, but it's always interesting to see you open them. c:
cool

I’m really confused on why you don’t have 3,000 billion subs because of your amazing content
Edit:some people might not agree but you have a good and funny and kind personality and so does your sister and husband and your channel is overall just great in evrey way you never seem to let me down when I’m bored
There’s 8 billion people in the
I love how she’s so honest. She’ll be a good judge
I didn't expect Jackie could make "obnoxious" as equal as "adorable" lol
The pop it bracelets are also good to take on the go because it is portable on your wrist, and when you want to fidget you just take it off and pop.
I would love all kinds of "weird" stocking suffers and gifts. For example:
* Halloween items (Halloween is my favorite holiday)
* Horror items (I love the genre)
* Gift cards to quality witchy stores
* Stuffed toy cryptid characters
* Real pirate items (like coins)
* Tarot and Oracle decks (with booklets or accompanying books, if applicable)
Wait, your favourite holiday isn’t Christmas? Why? I haven’t met someone before who’s favourite holiday isn’t Christmas.
My favourite holiday is Halloween too and we don't even really celebrate it here in NZ. I also celebrate every Friday the 13th with horror movies because I love horror movies so why not 😁
Plus my friends indulge me in it, by celebrating with me, so it's their fault for enabling me hehe
@@mandapanda2847 Friday the 13th is a great day to watch horror movies, but I watch them year 'round. It's Halloween all year long for me! 😂
I love the crazy Aaron’s thinking putty.
NerdECrafter won’t find this weird but I love fidget toys, especially the obnoxious ones
just a small clarification over the rubix cube, if the movement is too stiff it's NOT a good rubix cube, the good quality ones are smooth and have like a little spring to them. Overall, great video as always hehe.
It did have Rubix color layout though. Missed opportunity to replace the white with purple though. Especially since the base plastic is an off-white.
If she likes socks and she likes doing advent calendar-type things then she would love the boxes of “7 days/14 days of socks” where they give you a different pair of socks each day
But are they cute socks? If it’s just a company making a bunch of them they probably will only be cute to a few people.
@@rachelcookie321 It depends on the company. Some of them are plain, some are cutesy, some are Christmas themed, and I’ve even seen ones based on movies/TV shows
@@katieb9428 Yeah, My Little Sister Got A Paw Patrol One
Omg I love these videos! You're so funny Jackie! You had me in stitches!
"We have a ball in a kind of sack" 😂😂😂
The I do wave sharp pointy things got me 😂😂
number 10 and 11 the obnoxious loud thing also works as a chew stim so that's what ive been using them for/gen
I like the color scheme of the box, and it was pretty good quality.... kinda weird that it had duplicates of those suction cup ones.
It’s to build with, they are supposed to come with more
I was about to fall off my bed from laughing when you got the third suction cup fidgets 😂
Or the ninja stars that kids threw against the wall and stuck, well maybe.
That is legit EXACTLY what I was thinking!!! Squids used to be my favorite
Yeah I was thinking I’d be okay with a double for that one just so you could build with them
I love my tea advent calendar! I have one every year. 👍🏻
For Christmas, I love any type of crafts... anything works (I guess that’s why I’ve discovered this channel). But for a ‘weird’ vibe, I absolutely don’t mind kitchen stuff (as a woman, I know it’s often not appreciated, but personally, no biggie, I love it).
I 💗💗💗 being gifted ANYTHING "Harry Potter" related !!! I'm a HUGE fan, But it's not something those who know me would expect ! 😊
I think it's really cute how she kept saying "satisfactory" instead of satisfying X3
I think the bracelets are so you have it with you when you need it, like the keychains, so you take it off to fidget with it. :) however I could be wrong. Did you notice your 3rd compartment of duplicates had a 3 sided instead of a four sided? It may be broke.
I don't think so, I think there are just a variety of *blocks,* since one of the two-sided is noticeably shorter than the two other.
It didn’t look broken, I think it was just different.
I love beanies, sweaters, and nice smelling things for Christmas
Wow finally I’m on time, can’t wait to see Jackie go full kid mode and obsess over fidget toys 😅😂
When you have watched so many NerdECrafter videos, you catch yourself making the stressed face...🤣 Love you Jackie and keep being awesome 💗 Happy Holidays from Hawaii ☃️
The orbeez mesh balls are one of my absolute fav toys!
*especially in dinosaur form.
It’s weird seeing people open these with day one. When I was younger I had something similar but we counted down to Christmas. So we would start at day 24 and work our way down to day 1. But either way I still enjoy these videos and Jackie’s reaction to what is inside the boxes.
'This is obnoxious... I love it!` 🤣 🤣
Triplicate fidget toys is not on for an item that expensive. 😩
Your distractability makes me think you may be a cat in human form. 🤣❤️
I always like coffee and Lush stuff for Christmas, but I like being surprised. My Dad started receiving my presents this week and I went in my bedroom while he lit them in a cupboard I can't get to as I don't even want a clue what shape it might be! 😁
Happy birthday 🧂💚💙
Something like that would be great if you had multiple children in the family, or even a classroom. Everyone could take turns opening doors and sharing the doubles. But just one person, the doubles would be infuriating. There are so many other types of fidgets that could be contained in that calendar: fidget cube, infinity cube, tangle teaser, chewellery, different types of spinners, something magnetic, the wooden snake type fidget, I could go on.
@Oregano Chewellery is basically jewellery that is made of silicone that you can chew on.
Jackie, this video had me genuinely laughing out loud by myself 😂 your misfortune was more entertaining than usual!
you are the best youtuber in world and your videos are amasing
hi Jackie I just wanted to say that this “$75” advent calendar I have seen on Amazon for $40 so I’m just saying that I kinda think it might be worth it if you get it on Amazon :) btw I love you videos
It’s 75 Canadian dollars because of the currency differences
@@catherineostmann8055 Canadian and US aren’t that drastically different.
NGL I love the bracelet idea. Working with special needs kids, it would be amazing to have something they were unlikely to accidentally leave somewhere else in the school.
YOUR KILLING IT NERD!!!!!!!!!!
The fidget spinner probably has more issues with the fact that they replaced the weights on it with the popper pieces than the bearing itself. No weight to keep the spinner going.
I honestly love that you do so many fidget reviews, it helps me decide which to get when i need a new one
do more of these videos it is soo fun to watch
Something that I love to get on Christmas is new like cloth hangers which surprisingly people find weird I’m always like “ hey ! A girl wants a nice selection of hangers to hang her clothes on so it looks neat in her closet “ ( trust me if you come to my house and you accidentally see the inside of my closet , bye bye . U will leave immediately)
In my play I’m performing a song called slippers again for Christmas, but my favorite thing for Christmas is slippers😂❤
I love your content I love how you say in the treesh instead of in the trash
2:10 I'm hoping worth it!

@RenaRougexTrixx Spoiling what? If ya don't want to know what's happening in a video, don't read the comments before watching it.
Jackie: I’d rate the meshy marble things about a 5 out of 10
Me: 🤭😵
They are called marble mesh
These videos are me favourite and jakie you are the best person who I know with ad HD jakie your amazing btw been super for since 2020
Don’t recommend leaving the metal rings from day 23 on your hands, It will probably cut off you blood circulation.
Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎊
Never use stuff you find in the woods. Nasty bacteria, eggs, bugs, etc
@@lazyhomebody1356 I’ve never foraged for items, though I sometimes see folks who do gather stuff from nature (in their videos) heat the material in the oven to a temperature high enough it is intended to kill off bacteria and other hitchhikers on the materials. As a clean freak who consistently burns nachos, this course of action just seems like an undesirable path for me… :)
@@AVspectre also not good idea to take from environment as it may damage and decimate them. :)
@@AVspectre I've seen those videos too. Who wants little bug corpses in your oven? Dr Oz told a story about a snake that slithered out on the table at Thanksgiving, from the yard-gathered centerpiece
