    1) brain dump in the morning
    2) don't procrastinate; think about the goal, not about the hard process
    3) don't multitask
    4) work out more
    5) always do the easiest task first
    6) routines are boring but efficient
    7) pick a platform where you have all your organisation - stuff and use just this one
    8) know your body - males are more productive earlier in the day (24h cycle), females the week right after period (28 day cycle)
    thank me later

my proudest moment for 2022 was ending terms with a person who was very toxic for me whilst i was trying to hold on to them bcs i was in love with them . My goal for 2023 is to work harder in my o levels while continuing to make improvements in my mental & physical health & just try to be happy & let go of everything & person who does not serves my growth & does not values me. Thank you so much Faye, im so glad that I found you. You’ve been such a helpful guide & all in all such a big inspiration for me. I really wana become like you. Just the way you are, also I love the way you dress yourself . Stay blessed.

2023 my goal is to stop saying I will do this and that and this and that and instead say “I’m going to try to do this and that and do my best” I have a chronic health problem and it can impact my schedule work and things and then I beat myself up. Health is top priority you can be successful if your dead (and I did stop breathing in September and ended up in icu because of my condition so literally I could be dead)
Instead I’ll do what I can and give it my best but my health is a priority and mindfullness is a must

2022 was indeed...shockingly a year of drastic and radical changes. After being denied a license to practice in the UK (after a year-long process) , I had to make a decision to leave a life I built, my house, my car I was so proud of, my SO (hurts like burning fire) and go back to practise where I do not even want to live. It was the worst and probably the best decision at the same time. In retrospect, I cannot believe that somehow I managed to go through everything despite so many doubts. Very proud. Hopefully, 2023 will be the year of reaping the benefits. Biting the bullet and keeping it bitten for a while must get me somewhere haha. Wishing everyone that 2023 will bring changes for the better!

    Habits Faye Mentioned:-
    • Brain dump:- Early morning or whenever you feel like dump everything on your brain on a piece of paper, be it any thought or any responsibility can be the smallest task.
•Batching:- Try to eliminate multitasking as much as you can, batch similar tasks together and do them in one go,when you start something it takes quite 15-20 minutes to actually reach the flow state continuously taking breaks or multitasking reduces efficiency, do take breaks but do something less interesting and has an end maybe a bath or a walk.
•Workout often, or atleast involve in some physical activity not for loosing weight or some thing but for making you more active and less lazy.
•People always talk about eating the frog in the morning it does work for some but for people who're chronic procrastinators start with easy since starting with hard one will make you procrastinate even more.
•Routines definitely are boring and less fun, but do stick to one, do have fun and enjoy but staying on phone 24*7 is not having fun it's disturbing ur mental health.
•Pick an organisation/ platform like notion to organise your life.
•Know your body when it's more productive and work accordingly.
SOME ADDITIONAL TIPS I'VE LEARNT OVER TIME:-
°Focus more on the next step more than your end goal, think not about your final goal but instead do something which makes you a bit closer to it. When we're climbing a mountain if we start focusing way too much on the end point we're more likely to fall on the contrary if we focus on the every next step we've to take we're more likely to reach the top.
°Focus on your journey and make it as enjoyable as possible, the things which are enjoyable are things we're more likely to stick to, not everything can be made enjoyable agreed but don't beat yourself up at the end of the day for not doing enough, getting something done is still better than doing nothing, getting things done imperfectly somehow is way better than thinking about how to do it perfectly and at the end doing nothing.
° Stop watching videos on productivity/ self improvement throughout the day if you're not doing anything irl instead follow some of the tips and habits stick to them. Watching these continuously makes you feel your life is improving which is NOT TRUE. Watch do watch once in a while take notes and take action. You've already wasted a lot of time consuming such content Ik now start and take action even if you don't feel ready because you won't ever feel until you start.
    • Start really small, if you've been doing nothing till yesterday just lazing around suddenly after watching a motivating video expecting to do an hour of workout, 5+ hours of studying, morning and evening skin care, drinking 8+ glasses of water is simply NOT POSSIBLE and even if you'd do that for some days once the motivation is gone you'd feel youre in a rut again. Start small and keep increasing the intensity with time.
° Start gratitude journalling helps ALOTT.
° If you're a day dreamer do daydream but AFTER your to do list is checked off stop wasting time in it.
    My proudest moment of 2022:-
Getting through 2 classes together and managing it all, I was studying 2 semesters together because of some issues and managed to score not best but atleast good in both, proud of myself for that.
Things I wanna achieve till 2024:- ( In sha Allah)
•Discipline in studying atleast 3-4 hours each day. Scoring better.
•Feeling better about myself, feeling happy and satisfaction.
•Improving my physical and mental health.
    •Stop comparing myself to others.
    •Better relationship with God.
•Developing & sticking to healthy habits to treat my acne.

2022 was a dumpster fire. But on deeper reflection it was actually what I needed to learn how to withstand hardship. Some of the worst things I’ve ever experienced happened in 2022, but I also feel stronger despite it all. 2023 feels different because we are different! Everyday things change, but we can have an impact on what does.

my only problem with notion is the fact that I need a calendar that syncs up with my school calendar. i don't want to enter everything every time - and when I can't have my calendar on notion, then I find it kind of hard to keep up with outlook (where i have my current calendar) and notion at the same time

I keep stopping using notion because I find it so daunting and confusing and I don’t understand all the ways to use it. A video on notion from someone who understands that people stop using it for these reasons would be great because most of the advice I’ve heard about it is ‘just continue using it’ which doesn’t work with my brain

Happy New Year Faye and thank you for another great video! I also find myself doing more if I start with the easiest task. Although most TH-camrs recommend starting with the hardest task, I keep postponing it and end up doing nothing. Starting with the easiest task and getting it done feels like a reward and motivates me to do more.

I have a problem with "overbatching", doing one task, for a really long time, untill done, instead of breaking it up. For example solving building problems for 5 hours straitgh, and then doing yoga, dogwalk, and workout all at one. Would not recommend. I'd say 2-3 hours of the same activity should be the upper limit, then break it up with different activity. I guess it's called taking rests 😅
