I really hate implied racism. "Thete are no products for people of color, for problems they face." SO make some!! Nobody is stopping you. People of color have the same rights and oppurtunities as everyone else but usually piss it away on booze, drugs, and brand name material bs!! Get your black dermatologists together and make products you need. Why you always relying on someone else??

Thank you so much for this sis❤️ Here's what I took from this vid:
•Spots➡️ inflammation stimulates melanosites to give out more melanin causing hyperpigmentation
•Our melanosites are more active than yt people
•UV rays act on the melanosite so stimulates more melanin
•Oestrogen and progesterone increase melanin production
•Tyrosine is broken using tyrosinase to make Melanin so we need tyrosinase inhibitors - ie •Hydroquinone-skin bleach❌, •Azelaic Acid-, •Kojic Acid- irritant, •Vitamin C/L/Ascorbic Acid, •Alpha-Arbutin
    •Niacinimide- blocks melanosites, moisture
•Alpha hydroxy acids - exfoliants ie glycolic, lactic, mandelic✅ (in order of penetration) dehydrate skin
•Sun screen breaks down every 2hrs
•Night time routine (less light because it's photo sensitive)
    1.Mandelic Acid Toner
    2.Alpha Arbutin
    3.Kojic Acid
    4.Vitamin C/L Ascorbic
    5.Azaleic
6.Occlusive forms a barrier from your skin- vaseline
•Takes 6 weeks for skin to regenerate- skin has 5 layers, younger= shorter cycle
    •2/3 cycles = RESULTS

The skincare industry is riddled with colorism. It boggles my mind that highly coveted cosmetic/dermatology schools have little-to-no section on hair/skin care for people is colour. I have been struggling with my PIH for the past 5 years, it is so hard to fade. And everything I read caters to type 1-3 skin. It's hard. Sometimes I feel as though the industry that I am so obsessed with doesn't care about me and that is a hard pill to swallow. Black women in particular are one of the largest groups of consumers yet we don't account for even half of the target audience that products/studies are being produced for. It is people like you that give me hope, who dedicate their time to advocate for POC. Thank you for this xoxo

    Hyperpigmentation treatment
    1. Azelaic Acid
    2. Kojic acid 1-4% strength (can irritate skin; stay in 1-2% range
    3. Vitamin C - should say L-ascorbic acid
    4. Arbutin
    (Hyperpigmentation inhibitors)
    Other methods:
    1. Niacin-amide (makes skin moist) ⭐️
    2. Alaxy-hyroxic-acid (types: glycolic , lacid, or mandelic acid ⭐️) accelerates process
    3. Wear sunscreen at ALL times
    Order of routine:
    DAY
    1. Wash face
    2. Nicamimide
    3. Toner
    4. Moisturize
    NIGHT
    1. Wash face
    2. Tone with Mandelic Acid (check brand did how often to use
    3. Layer in this order: alpha-arbutinacid, kojic acid serum, L-ascorbic acid, azelic acid --> introduce a new step each week
    4. Moisturize
ALL THIS 2 HOURS BEFORE BED
    12-18 weeks

My skin is so smooth it’s almost weird to see my reflection in the mirror. Strange I know. She is amazing and her regime WORKS! If you ever wondered how you could ever conquer hyperpigmentation THIS IS IT BABYGIRL! And everything you need to get is SOOO AFFORDABLE, damn near cheap. Give her her roses now because she is a life changer. ✨💕

So I came across this video about 3 weeks ago and I just want to tell you it works!!!!!! I have been struggling to get rid of hyperpigmentation for 4 years and I kid you not I’ve spent well over $3,000 off of buying products people even mentioned just to see if it would work. The most craziest thing about all the products mentioned in the regimen is from the ordinary. In total I spent about $40 on getting all products. So mad that I didn’t know this before 😂. I started the first week of September and I started seeing results the second week of use. I’m now in the third week and there is literally little to no hyperpigmentation left. I usually don’t comment on videos but this was worth commenting on. THANK YOU ! Continue to bless us with these videos.

Really good information. I think if you are wanting to be careful to avoid chemicals in your “actives” ie not using HQ, then I’m certain you would not want to suggest using petroleum based products. I have worked as an esthetician for 18 yrs. There are only a few products that are occlusive w/o petroleum. They do exist. Thank you for your need to serve. Your accomplishments so far are to be highly commended. Bravo!

Came back to report that I found this April 1st 2021 and still follow the regimen even now. It works for me ☺️ I have sensitive oily skin, so I have to moderate how I use it but it definitely transformed the quality of my skin. Dark spots are still there but they are fading and less noticeable due to the glowy look. I normally don’t wear make up too, but I’ve been asked twice if I was after this 😂

@@amiramohammed5744 Hi Amira. If you reread the the caption for the video, there's an Vitamin C alternative that you can use (less potent, therefore less effective, but good enough) that uses a Magnesium formula instead. It's the link right below the Ascorbic Acid link in the list, and is by the same company, The Ordinary. Hope this is helpful, and good luck! xo

    This worked for me 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I saw results after the first 8-12weeks.
I wish I could post before and after photos on here just to show my results. It’s been 6months and my skin has cleared up a lot.
I will say I did have hormonal acne on my cheeks and around my chin which I treated before I started treating my hyperpigmentation.
The purging stage was a real downer but I pushed through.
Dr. Hani you are a gem 💛

It s okay if your face is darker than your body it s the same for most people, I would say just look after your skin and all will be good. U don't need strong actives to look good, all of those ingredients work but once u stop hmmm one goes back darker and it s also expensive .

She’s only had acne in her youth and has never had hyperpigmentation issues during her adult years. Her skin is plump, smooth and never looks dull. I can’t wait to start this process.
