nah. If he wanted to free supply a full medivac of marines could do wonders to a mineral line. Its a slow point in the game so cost effectiveness is better than getting the ghosts immediately. theres no rush on the 4 ghosts.
@@crazzynez the time it would take to get it over to the mineral line would delay the ghosts 20-30 seconds. That’s build time and energy charge wast3d for minimal damage.
25:00 all of the rest of the game happened because the terran didnt commit to the basetrade and destroy the zerg's main base, hatcheries and tech structures. Zerg had nothing to take out flying structures, and nothing to defend his main.
This is what I imagine some of my silver and gold league games to be like, only to rewatch them and find a gagillion mistakes and dead time. Watching two pros play it gives me so much pleasure!

No complaints from me that you cast so many Dark's games. Definitely one of the more entertaining player out there! So much variety in strategy and a god like late game control. :)
I think that Raven call Lowko made would have been correct. the Infestor harass would have been taken care of by a single raven, the limited scans at the end screwed with rebuilding of Cure's army too much. One raven prevents all of that, honestly worth the gas
My God Cure was making me crazy. He saw the advantage and had vision a did not finish off the main base. Then he constantly knew that dark is running away which means he can't contest. And cure never tries to rush and finishes dark off or even scouts. That really shows what Lowko said, that some pros are having a really hard time to adjust out of the box situations..
That was a how to throw the game for 25 minutes, letting dark long distance mine and not sit his army between to wipe out his remaining drones, or not once going inside the unprotected main base to kill production, then setting up his second main base in the middle with 3 entrances instead of a corner.

I would have loved to see Cure load up the exact supply of units he needed to cut back and then just do like some viking and marauder drops just to trade out those units and get some value and if he was able to snipe the Investor pit and spawning pool as part of that he would have easily come out on top with how far a head he was in terms of actual army strength at that point.

I feel like Cure could have just left his buildings flying during that down time and moved for the main base to win the game, since his army was more powerful and zerg had not enough anti air. or at least moved to cut off the main base from mining. He must have overestimated Dark's army size or something.
Cure should have sent those 4 Viks he sacrificed around hunting the overlords and put Dark in the same supply position. would have forced him to long mine longer

Upon looking in the sc2 shop. Lowko is actually an option to have as a announcer. I got it thinking now the legend himself can tell me when something goes wrong. I went in my next match with confidence. What could go wrong? I felt like lowko had my back. Little did I know the announcer goes off for everything. I ended up winning matches I normally lose or struggle with. I highly suggest the lowko announcer if you’re a lowko fan like myself 😎
suggestion: Lowko should create a poll among his viewers for the best game or the year. with symbolic medal for the winner or some award. potentially can turn into a global ceremony with red carpet and all.

Hello Lowko, I'd like to thank you because , as a french viewer, your english is really fluent and you articulate well for a caster, some of them speak quite faster than you or start shouting when a battle is engaging, and you put a lot of context in players for people who don't take enough time to look on pro scene so we can really enjoy thoses games :) + you're the only one which I don't skip the intro, so keep it pls ^^
Even among pro players, dark is on a whole different level. Even when he loses his opponent often has to fight tooth and nail for an advantage and one tiny slip up will lead to him just overrunning you with a swarm you didn't know he could possibly have.
This is probably one if not the best game of sc2 i´ve ever seen. Having that patience for almost 20 minutes and slowly recovering and building more and more stuff is ridicoulus.

I know there are a bunch of SC2 oriented channels out there... but I've been following Lowko for at least the past 4-5 years and I still ignore 99% of all non-Lowko SC2 videos. Especially Harstem, but that's because his face freaks me out. If he ever painted his face as Joker, that would give me nightmares.

Cure not killing Dark's main base during the trade feels like a massive miss. The base was completely undefended and Cure had the better army. Lift up all your structures and Zerg can't do anything to them without anti-air. Roll into the zerg main base and kill the tech. Zerg can either stay on the map and lose all their structures or come fight and very likely lose the army battle.
Cure was overly cautious, particularly around the 25 minute mark. A simple elevator attack on the main would have finished off the tech. Even ten minutes later, he could have done that for the win, but played too defensive. Hindsight is of course 20/20, but it seemed Cure went into his shell when boldness would win the day.
I think Cure not cleaning up the main base of the Zerg qualifies as a big mistake. He was close enough to do something about it and it would have set back the Zerg a long long long time.
