Thank-you for this Video was getting frustrated.... The manual says to "Push The Button" 3 times.. And i was like what "Button" are they talking about...lol.. The "Button" on the steering column... Lifesaver, Thanks again "The Button" was the solution
Please note the following: Changing the Authority Code: *The authority code is only used to set access codes. 1. Turn the ignition key on. 2. Locate the button on the steering column and push three times. 3. Touch pad will start to beep, enter new five digit authority code (can be same as access code). 4. Enter code again. 5. Turn off ignition and complete steps 1-5 on changing the access code. Changing Access Code: *The access code is what you use to lock and unlock the doors. (Factory access code is 1,2,3,4,4 + 1 to unlock the door or + 2 to unlock door and the compartments) 1. Hold #3 button for three seconds or until it continuously beeps. 2. Enter #4 button five times. (This is the factory preset authority code, if you have already changed the authority code you will need to enter that instead). 3. Enter#1. (Once you’re done, you can separately enter four different access codes and number them in sequence, #2, #3, #4). 4. Enter new five digit access code.
Very informative! I posted a general comment, but the last comment was 3 months ago, so I don't know if you will see it. It is about the rear AC unit in the New Air. I would love your input. Art
