Is spooped where you poop yourself out of fear?
Yo, I'll give you 50 bucks for the old tv
I absolutely love this one. I think this was my favorite so far. Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday so I might be a little biased. If you're looking for suggestions I do have one that I have never seen anybody else do. I've maybe heard it mentioned but I've never seen anybody do a whole story
Operation Sea Spray. The government was basically testing biological weapons and the effects of radiation on the unsuspecting public. There's also a similar program that was basically doing the same thing in New York subways and tunnels.
The 1979 Iranian revolution that robbed us of middle eastern babes in booty shorts and disco 🪩 🕺 💃
THE TRUE STORY OF THANKSGIVING then do Christmas ❤️
Goblin? Ghoul? GABAGOOL EYY WHATS A MATTER WHICH YOU 🤌🤌
Bobbing for apples being a form of divination sounds like something a historian would make up when they can't find a practical use for some artifact. "I can't figure out why they made this garbage. It must be some religious device for communing with their gods."
I had a science teacher who was also a farmer. I told her about how people used to hang garlic in their doorways as a folk cure to keep illness away, and she just said *"No, that's a dumb theory. I hang garlic but that's because it needs to dry."*
When I did an Archaeology degree the lecturers actually said something along those lines, if it can’t be explained logically religion and ceremonial practices are used to explain anything and everything.
@CountArtha this is actually something followed in many cultures. Garlic was said to keep away the black plague and other illnesses in the past. If I remember correctly the Dutch were one of several to promote putting onions in your socks to pull the toxins and illness out through the soles of your feet. Surprisingly it works too.
Missed these! You need to work out some sort of deal so Eli lets you have more time for these instead of sexually harrassing him in his wife's clothes.
(Love the unsub appearances too though!)
Agreed, more Trout on unsub!
Hahahahaha
You look handsome today Trout! I’m going to tell all my moms poker friends

@@king_troutYour website is down and I'm screaming in confusion
In modern times we call the spooky day in the fall when people put on disguises to trick their neighbors into giving them free stuff "Election Day"
Most underrated comment😂

3:12 there’s a very interesting reason as to why Rome was not excepting of Christians. Although Christians were all willing to participate in open rebellion, they were also unwilling to bow down and worship Caesar. They did not challenge Caesars authority on the first but instead, they believed that God had authority over Cesar. Now you must understand in the ancient Roman world. Cesar was A god like figure so for Christians to say, there is only one god what they are saying in the Roman mind is we refuse to accept you.
I lost at at the aside to Jake. He sounded so confused. 😂
As a descendant of Irish Catholic railroad workers, we're great mechanics, excellent drinkers, and decent hard working folk.
...but you might want to remote-start your truck if you've ever crossed us or told us how to live.

I love the idea that Trout moved into the podcast house with 3 corkboards covered in cigarette cards and CIA documents.

My son's first Halloween was tarnished by the Mennonite neighbor who told him they don't celebrate because it makes Satan happy. We had a long talk him and I regarding the 1st Amendment and it's insurance clause, the 2nd.
Welcome to America 🇺🇲
Trout! You are the best. More videos, please. Thank you.
Saw your ghosted debute. Did well challenging those ghosts.

Need more king trout videos. He is spending to much time lurking behind the camera at unsubscribe, lol.
Well spoken and informative.
I kinda hope Trout never really figures out the filming. The chaos really brings it together
To add a little context to the whole "Romans being super supportive of other religions," they allowed for most other polytheistic religions because of "syncretism." They basically thought that their gods showed up to various groups under different names but were still the same god. For example, they thought that Mercury (Hermes) was the same as the Norse god Wotan, more commonly known as Odin. Judaism, being a monotheistic religion, was generally given an exception due to it being ancient, even for them. Christianity was a new religion who's deity was a man who the Romans had killed. Christians also refused to acknowledge the Romans gods, which they viewed as a threat to the state. By ignoring the worship of Jupiter and Venus and the rest, they were summoning the gods wrath on the empire, which would be bad for everyone.
TLDR: The Romans liked polytheistic religions, and since Christianity was very monotheistic, they weren't a fan.
Missed you trout!
I learned something before the bobbing for apples bit. I live next to a town called Pomona. Now I know where the name came from.
I was just out fishing for trout and one posted a vid!
I got fired from my job two weeks ago. This video speaks to me.
Praise be, the king has graced us with his presence! (But for real I only subscribe to pepperbox to get more king trout content, please post more.)
I can wait for new yer’en
Hell yeah, Trout, Rome for the Win!!!
A commercial cut in right when you threatened to quit TH-cam, it made me grab my phone to see if you went postal. Nicely placed.
I love daddy trout
Wake up babe. He uploaded again.
You should definitely do Yule tide in December and history of lobotomy
I knew the gist of how Halloween came to be but the bobbin for apples thing is blowing my mind.
A quick google search says the person who bites the apple first would be the first to get married or something, either way I learned something today thanks
