Absolutely one of my favorite games on the NES with one of my favorite soundtracks. It holds such a special place for me, that it's one of the several NES games i've payed extra for, to collect mint with it's box.
Yes! Finally! After all these years I've finally found this music and the game. Thanks to your channel! I've just remembered it for the music from 16:56 - Stage 7-2, but now I recall every theme. :) One of my favourite games back then. Thanks again +1
This is one of my favorite NES side-scrollers. I used to rent it quite often as a kid, invite the friends over and play the crap out of it. Never did beat it then, but did so recently.Boss battles are definitely a highlight.
This game is probably the best on Nes, though not very popular, many people never even heard of it. Music here is so-so good: melodies take a good start but they are all too short and re-begin after 10-20 sec which is obviously bad. I wish they had a longer true melodies.
I see a spoiler opportunity! Here you go. You play as some exceptionally good cop. While doing some generic cop jobs (car pursuit, road explosions), you encounter some strange-looking bad guys. And you start to wonder, why criminals nowadays look some extraterrestrial mutants. You follow the clues, investigate some strange occasions, etc. Clues lead you to super-secret experimental labs somewhere in South America. Probably next to the Dark Temple of Jaquio, but that's not 100%. You know how all mysterious plots inevitably lead to South America. Villains turn you girlfriend into a mutant, you have to slay it. In the labs there is a huge supply of suspended, underdeveloped copies of yourself. In the end you kill your own clone, who was in charge of all the recent wrongdoings. When the game is finished, the plot promises you to "awaken" and take his place. Basically you are one of the clones who got a bit wandered off.

Yes, me too ;) I had it on 4 in 1 cartridge. My very first and still the best :)
It's a very good platformer with great gameplay and the music is very good too 😊 Nostalgia...
My first game for NES (together with Gun Nac). And these two will always remain in my heart.
My first too. I learned play games with this.

I had played the japanese version of this game (GUN DEC).

The last section before the final boss was one of the hardest rooms in nes. I can't remember how many continues I used there.
Oh yeah man 😂😂😂 it's true. And you have to grind some grenades to have an "easy" fight with the final boss
My very favorite game
Why do i think of Kurt Russel and Tia Carrere when i see the Cover?? XD
He kinda looks like David Hasselhoff tho 😂
Yeah, this game was uber. I loved it.
Replay and replay and replay..... Thx ! :-) I need this:-)
Stages 2-1 & 7-1 sounds a little like Iron Maiden's Aces High!
It seems I'm not the only one who noticed a similarity to a song in this game.
It was released on the Nintendo switch online.
Is now owned by sega, as Sammy is now part of them in Sega Sammy holdings

I remember this game was called GunDec
+MrNintendoo64 Probably it was the japanese version
You know I've played through this game several times over the years and I still don't know what the hell is happening in the plot.
It's basically a very condensed B-movie. Nonsensically badass.
I see a spoiler opportunity! Here you go.

@wiiguys 8bitstereo the link in your description for the artist is dead.
When I first heard Nirvana's "All Apologies" it reminded me of this game. Stage 9 as I see now. The similarity is kinda subtle.
