Lol that motorbike rider was definitely trying to scam you. P300 for an hour around Cebu City should be fair. He should've taken you to the historical sites in downtown Cebu City like around Parian where you can visit 17th century houses and Baroque churches.

Unlike most other cities in the Philippines with BPO industry, Cebu's BPO industry is dominated by non-voice such as shared services, R&D, etc. In other cities with BPO industry like Iloilo, Dumaguete, Davao, etc. it is dominated by voice or popularly called 'call center' companies.
Thanks for that insight. I spoke to a few people working in these none voice jobs but plenty in call centres too. One advantage of all of the foreign companies, English seemed to be really widely spoken.. Thanks for watching 👍
For old Cebu, just head for Colon Street. Some of the merchant buildings have interesting stories attached to them, influential families, scandals, demolishing obligations and so on.
