good video, but my team was slightly different. I'm a charmander trainer at heart. Final elite 4 team was Charizard, Alakazam, Vileplume, Nidoking, Lapras, Electabuzz.
Charizard, Starmie, Nidoking, Primeape, are usually always in my team, the rest depends on what i caught. I like Pinsir, but it doesn't add much in early gens, same with Dragonit. Sorlax is a good pick, Aerodactyl too, but i try to not overlap types
fun fact, in pokemon fire red and leaf green, charmender learns metal claw early before brock's fight, and his geodude dont know any rock moves and onix isnt much of a threat, and both can be taken care of easily, also in veradian forest you can catch pikachu which can beat misty although you can beat misty with any regularly effective pokemon like pidgeotto, and not to mention venasaur is the worse pokemon for later game, if anyone thinks bulbasaur is better, L take
I'll edit this at the end of the video My team I used when I first played Fire/Leaf Pidgeot, Alakazam, Zapdos, Magmar, Gyarados and Gengar EDIT: 1/6 So, I chose Charmander and I know it made Brock/Misty harder to fight but it worked out in the end, when I finally got Magmar, I just thought he was honestly better than Charizard so I dropped the zard out of party (don't hurt me lol). Im also surprised that none of the legendries didn't pop up on your predications, Zapdos was a pretty easy find, it wasn't until after I beat the E4 that I went looking for the rest while looking at guides lol
Nice video, but my team was quite different - Venusaur - Pidgeot - Raichu - Muk - Magmar - Lapras I didn't really know about other fire pokemon other than charmander and magmar, so I looked for a magmar
very good video and editing, my team was a bit different, but you still got 4/6 Blastoise (it's my favourite starter) Pidgeot Arcanine Nidoking Exeggutor Jolteon
Bro your videos are so great not to mention the quality of them 😮 👍❤️. Make more plz Btw here are the similarities b/w our Pokémon: Nidoking Pidgeot Lapras Jolteon 💀
Bulbasaur is literally the least popular of the 3 starters, whats this guy on about haha. Gyarados and Snorlax are also probably the most common used. Agree with pigeot, jolteon Nobody uses ninetales, but Arcanine is a yes
@ it’s most certainly not bud, maybe among established players and on TH-cam people pick bulbasaur more, but I can guarantee you with 10000% certainty that when these games came out, the people (mainly kids) picked charmander and squirtle. Look at any poll online haha.
A bunch of sources flip between the two, I forgot to mention this is over the course of 20 years since the games been out, people have started to acknowledge how overrated Charizard is. Venusaur would win the poll in 2025 @Truegreen7s video 👀

Raticate with Guts and stab Facade hits like a truck.
Raticate is too underrated with its super fang + double edge combo

In terms of popularity charmander is the most popular obviously, but bulbasaur is more commonly used to play through frlg
