That could work, but it depends on how many tackles Geodude does. Even with +6 defense, onixs rock tomb can still do about 1/3 hp, so that’s not an insignificant amount

I'd like to suggest one I did and failed miserably at, I did it in Emerald. You can only use each ball once, you have to retrieve the ball and use it as soon as it's available. The Pokeball is automatically used for your starter sorry, but like you immediately have to buy a Premier Ball and use it to catch something
I realized he named all his Pokemon after references. Butterfree is named after the episode "Bye, Bye Butterfree!" While Pika is named after the one from the Detective Pikachu movie lmao
How do you mean? There was Pickup, Illuminate, and Stench, which explicitly have outside of battle effects, but other than those ones, abilities didn't have outside of battle effects until Emerald.

I said that they didn't have additional outside of battle effects. In all third generation games before Emerald, abilities only had their in-battle effects, other than the three I mentioned previously, which only had outside of battle effects.

Hate to break it to you, most of your favourite nuzlockers cheat in rare candies my dude, to minimalise grinding and deliver content to you at a faster rate. geodude only knows tackle and defense curl, so butterfree can setup harden on it fairly easy so it can sweep through onix
