Would love to see you play the original games. Though I personally had to mod them a bit as they haven't aged well in some aspects. Story is still fantastic though.
Gonna steal the top comment so Q sees this: regarding the technician at Skadovsk - he's a protege of Kardan, the dude who's got lots of screentime in original Call of Pripyat. Kardan is now chilling in Yanov Station with Azot, another technician who's his old friend. To upgrade the technician at Skadovsk you can give tools to Kardan in Yanov. Yes, it's kinda weird, and yes, Yanov Station effectively has 2 technicians - Kardan and Azot, so double the parts stock! If you give them both all the tools you;ve got to spare, you get double upgraded stock in Yanov and an upgraded stock in Skadovsk, with the Kardan's apprentice technician.
Weewoo. Would definitely love an OG stalker series. Definitely look into some QoL mods for it and updates to patch some of the game breaking bugs. Loving the content as always!
Bro if it’s really you Grok. Thanks for all the hard work man. Huge fan of what you have created!! I can’t wait for you to get a hold of stalker 2 engine 🤣
Hey Qloud your videos are always great entertainment! Quick Tip on getting more upgrade kits: Anytime you see a weapon with a small white arrow pointing up (like the pistol at 6:29) dissasemble it for a chance at getting an upgrade kit from it.
Would be cool seeing your reaction playing the originals, seeing all the characters and places from gamma but now with some more backstory. Also, at 21:34 Hatchet having Merc voicelines makes sense since he is a merc in the original games, but I won't spoil on why he's with the ecologists here.
too bad I accidentally spoiled him already players who played GAMMA often got their expectations for the series too high so most of them wouldn't play the original
Small tip that I found out: if you find an upgraded weapon/armor on a dead stalker, disassembling it will yield a small chance to receive the upgrade kits.
I feel like this game is extremely underrated and unheard of for the most part. I’m thankful I came across a random recommended TH-cam video of it and have been hooked since. I got so bored with lazy AAA tittles. This game is like a breath of fresh air
1:25 Sadly, in GAMMA, you can't buy ammo parts from any vendor. What I would recommend you to do is: Choose some ammo caliber and type (from the same weapon category) you think you won't be using and disassemble them all. That way, you will have mats to build at least some of the ammo you need/want. 2:56 That's why I like my pistols, and all my guns in general, to have laser sight. Being able to, accurately, fire from the hip can make the difference from life and death (or at least some nasty wounds) some times. 4:19 When you find armors that you don't want/need, disassemble them for the parts. You can use these parts to, later on, repair some armor you want to use. You can also use these parts to craft other stuff, like higher tier backpacks. Also, when the armor you found have some upgrade installed, when disassembled, you have a chance to get the upgrade kit used on it. Its a win-win situation. 5:04 Don't you have a MP5 stored in your hideout? If you have, take it out, repair it and trade it with Nimble (NPC in Skadovsk, top floor), you will get another MP5, but this one is chambered in .45. Better than a pistol to deal with mutants, right? At least until you get your hands on a Kriss Vector, the mutant nightmare. 14:06 You made the right choice man. Taking Hip as a companion is a freakin pain in the ass. She will bother you more than help you, cuz, AI, you know. And once you accept to help her, you will be stuck with her until you coplete her quest, and her quest is another pain in the ass thing to do cuz is tottaly based on RNG. 17:22 I have a VERY strong impression that mutants have some kind of resistance against high damage rifle ammo. More than once, it took me more shots from a 7.62x51 or even 12.7 to kill a small mutant like a boar or a zombie than from a pistol caliber. 20:15 Because that was a mission you could have done very early in the game, that's why it seems easier to you now, that you are way better geared. 21:35 Hahahahaha... but there are mercs in there. The ecologists contract some mercs as body guards. 23:17 Yeah man, that's something a lot of people have been complaining about the game. The damage received from mutants is too high, even the weakest ones can take half of your health in one hit some times, no matter the armor you wear, top tier or not, and to make things worse, you get stunned by every hit, even from the smallest/weakest of mutants. 26:14 You have to be really desperate to repair a certain weapon part, to use that repair kit. It costs way too much. I'm pretty sure that, in some cases, is cheaper to just pay the technician to fully repair the weapon. 29:24 The thing is, in this game, these type of missions (lets call them "story missions"), some of them will change every time you take it. If you save before taking it, every time you load, the NPC will give you a different mission (some times the same mission show up again).
You'll quickly find that the yellow quest markers that require to do "fetch this", "meet this person or" "do this" is a non-stop quest-line that just loops, sending you to various friendly traders doing random missions. Often times you'll be better off just asking the faction leaders or traders directly for jobs every now and then as you can accept multiple in one go. Some quests don't open up until you've completed X amount of quests and you have to wait for a radio signal for it to open up. So far I just went to pripyat to meet Strelok and his team and after that I believe some of the end game quests unlock.
Nice one bro. Would love to see the play through of the original games too. Lol I got tag teamed by two chimera in the truck cemetery the other day too, scary shit lol. 😅
A couple of pointers if you want to play the originals: -shadow of chernobyl is the one with the best history and ambience BUT you will need to mod it to be playable, since is the one that worst aged from the others. - clear sky has the best firefights, but when you try to leave from the swaps for the first time there is a military outpost after you get out, go back into the swap, the new exit will be shown to you and get out from there. - Prypiat is by far the most easy to get in and quite playable without any sort of mods, you can get a exosuit very early from one of the guys that has custom orders and you can get money easy with the artifac farm to buy the exo. Also, for the love of god, when you go into the underground tunnels get all the ammo and health packs you can carry, you WILL need them. Btw you need to play in the max difficulty in all of them, since is where the most balance gameplay gets. Sorry for the bad grammar, english is not my first lenguage and yada yada yada. Love your videos and I hope you keep doing them.
On upgrade kits: you can collect more if you start looting those weapons and armor with the upgrade icon - disassemble those immediately and some of them will yield a random kit. I don't think the auto-loot picks those up by default (or even optionally - I'll have to check). Only downside is dealing with the mostly useless junk that produces, but Technicians will buy most of that.
About the weird chimera and lurker attack, in the Jupiter Underground main chamber I had a chimera, two alpha bloodsuckers and two snorks spawn literally on top of each other. I burst down the two bloodsuckers and circlestrafed the snorks, but the chimera pulled a disappearing act on me. Probably went down one of the side passages, but kept me nervous anyways. That was my weirdest spawn yet. They weren't even infighting.
Dude! love the videos, been looking forward to each one. You should play the original STALKER games, even if you dont make a series out of it. They are iconic for a reason and it would give you a good immersion before 2 comes out
21:36 I don't remember if this is the case for Anomaly but in Call of Pripyat Hatchet and his team were original Mercs who left their mission and went rogue, they occupied the Substation Workshop on Zaton but they ran low on food, Degtyarev later supplied them with food and then asked them if they would like to go protect the Scientist bunkers and they agreed(there are other options to choose new guards for the scientist bunker in CoP), they kept their Merc voice lines after they become the new guards for the bunker on Yanov In Anomaly Hatchet and one of his crewmember, Pianist left Yanov and went down to Yantar to help protect the Yantar bunker
I'd love to see an original game series! Your videos are fantastic, that would be awesome :D I played them unmodded, but it *might* be worth it to add some mods to patch them up a little. Good hunting!
Hey man, another great one again. Well done. About playing the stalker games, if you did not play them maybe it's a good ideea. I remember they were great back when they were released. I was kind of young and found them pretty scary. I heard you can even mod them but don't expect the Anomaly level of details. Btw, if you want to repair smgs, just use a handgun repair kit and replace parts. It's cheap and fast.
You can decide after her mission ended. Also try duty expansion, not only it will give you optional companion which is more badass than hip, it also liberate the bridge at red forest which later occupied by duty, clearsky, ecologist, and loner. It also has trader too.
Watching you go through the original trilogy would be fun. I would suggest against installing any overhaul mods though. Experiencing the games for what they were will make you appreciate the state of STALKER modding much better, imo. Just install the community patches for bugfixes and you're good to go. (They're named Zone Reclamation Project, Sky Reclamation Project and Pripyat Reclamation Patch.) Ofcourse, it's your call and I'd watch those series either way. :) Keep up the good work!
Mercs canonically take contracts to protect ecologists. They become part of the ecologist faction so they are friendly to everyone, but the devs gave them merc voice lines
The reason why Hatchet sounded like a merc is... well, in the game files he's a merc working for the scientists. Not gonna spoil anything anymore, but he's a character in Call of Pripyat.
Just found a setting that makes handguns feel way better! In the "adjustable scopes" tab put the pistol slider on 1 (all the way to the right) This will make it so that when you ADS you will hold the pistol further away which will give you way better vision. I think "ready or not" has their pistols at roughly the same distance. Defaulty i think is 0.6 for all sliders
I would love to see you play the original trilogy. Btw if you plan on modding the original games, I suggest you only mod them just a little just to solve bugs. The best mods for that I think would be 'Zone reclamation project' for Shadow of chernobyl, 'Sky reclamation project' for Clear sky and Call of chernobyl could be vanilla or Gunslinger mod. Since these mods don't change too much the OG experience.
I think there's a setting in the mod configuration menu that stops you being irradiated by artifacts outside of LLMCs that are in your stashes/bench. Can't remember which one but I swear I saw it the other day when I was looking myself!
There is but it only works right if the Melter is in your main inventory for some reason, I just ticked the box where empty lead boxes protect you and I have like 20 I put in my inventory before big melting sessions
@Qloud 2 round burst is a very nice feature if you are in very long range engagements semi auto is better. But for medium to close range engagements 2 round round burst is just a much better option than full auto. Yes if you have good trigger discipline you can use full auto fairly accurately and without wasting a lot of ammo. But if you panic you tend to mag dump on full auto. 2 round burst prevents this you can also fire a lot faster than full auto. Since I can see you generally stick to full auto anyway you way as well use 2 round burst instead as it is a superior option to full auto. Oh and if you are going to shoot tougher mutants like lurkers and chimeras with the ak 12 try to use hp rounds. 2 round round burst will increase the damage of fmj slightly but not enough to kill tougher mutants quickly.
9:35 never played the GAMMA (doesn't work for me, but EfP works fine, almost) but the way EfP works you get random bounty hunters send to you when you reach certain reputation. And they can really wreck you when caugh off guard. Their shotguns melts through my upgraded exoskeleton (with protective artifacts) like a paper. Hatchet in the Yantar is a Merc working for scientists. You could met him in Call of Pripyat in Zaton, looking for work.
Seeing you play the original games would be amazing and like you said there are some improvement mods and overhaul mods that update them a good bit. Before you even play the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games though I suggest you read the book they're all based on: Roadside Picnic. I've started reading it recently and it's amazing so far.
what you said about the zone getting more dangerous as you gain reputation has to be true. i can't go to garbage without there being a chimera there, and controllers in cordon are extremely common now.
lol im all the way up in pripyat outskirts and didnt know i could shoot those apparitions they cast towards you.. i just assumed you had to tank psych hit ahaha
My guess is the bodies you found at agro where the doing of those lurkers and chimera. Also give hipp a bolt action silence sniper rifle and she will destroy anything she sees.
Man you definitely have to play at least Shadow of Chernobyl. Yes it does feel dated but i played it for the first time in 2021 (so no rose tinted glasses of nostalgia) and i had a blast. Its great
i played the original games back in the day when they were current. they were very buggy, especially the first one. it took a couple of patches, but other than that i only remember good things and having a blast. it would be a nice trip down memory lane to see you playing them, for sure. but id also like to see some more gamma content from you first. maybe ride the gamma wave a lil longer while its still going strong.
There is a nice upgrade kit for your ak 12 monolith. It has 4x acog scope, laser pointer and 60-round mag. Also you can attach ubgl to that ak after upgrade.
Shadow of Chernobyl - 2 mods my favorite autumn aurora 2.2, and pretty decent radiophobia 3. For Call of Prypiet - definitely misery standalone or with gunslinger weapon mod.
I'd probably watch a series on the original trilogy, as long as its edited down for time like these anomay series! Having played SoC and CoP, both vanilla and modded, i would recommend modded in some way, at least SoC.
Original games are truly outdated by now, but i'd love to see playthroughs from you. You can fresh them up with some mods not related to the main plot, just graphic and gameplay improvements, like Misery for Call of Pripyat
9:36 - The Zone seems harder as you play because all the weak mutants and stalkers are being killed over time so eventually you are left with the Fittest for Survival lol.
Any items with the green arrow you should disassemble because theres a chance for an upgrade kit! Even if its trash loot an upgrade kit is useful and sells for a lot
would love the original game series, it would be great to see u play them and relive my childhood through your videos. though prepare for torment from the first game, its so old and outdated XD
Hey, it would be awesome to see you play original trilogy. You'll get some story background, good thing to do before stalker 2 comes out. Just remember one thing - you'll get shredded by cordon boss in clear sky.
Sell your inferior parts to mechanics, they will buy them depending of their quality and lighten your stash weight while your at it. Make as many purified meals as you can with your unused vodka supply and sell the rest to the Butcher for a lot of money for all those mutant meats, meals, pelts and trophies.
Also, if you are going to play though the original trilogy, for S SoC, check out the mod Autumn Aurora 2 (makes it more like ANOM/GAMMA) for S CS try mod ABR, and S CoP ABR or Gunslinger (was used to make combat good for ANOM/GAMMA). Those mods all update the games to feel a hell of a lot better, but keep the Vanilla story, highly recommend as I just replayed through them with these mods myself.
Original games would be great to watch, been looking for a good walk thru of them already, and if my fav youruber made one well cmon i doesn’t get better!
I would really recommend trying to get a desert eagle sometime soon if you can. It's a lot more efficient because its damage is so high and crafting .357 is really easy. .357 is also just generally really cheap.
IMO, there is an easier and more effective solution. He probably should have a MP5 on his stash. Take it, repair it and trade it with Nimble for another MP5, but now chambered in .45. 30 rounds in the mag instead of only 7 or 9 of the Desert Eagle. You can add a supressor, for quieter shots and also a red dot or even an ACOG for more precise shots.
@@jhonrock2386 I'm not saying deagle is better than an mp5 frasier with hydro shock in a perfect world. That gun is goated. What I'm saying is it's incomparably more efficient at dropping mutants and costs WAY less to run. You also don't need hollow-point handgun bullets to craft .357, if I'm not mistaken. He is spending a lot of money on hydroshock and runs out of it very often, I had that issue before and haven't looked back ever since I switched to deagle.
@@capital-j7891 HS ammo use normal projectiles to craft, but more of them. Well, I do agree with you when you say that the DEagle is more ammo efficient. Higher damage and smaller magazine helps a lot with it, the only downside is the fact that you have make each shot count, and fight those smaller mutants like dogs and cats can be a pain in the ass to make each shot count, their movement is too erract.
Would love to see you do the original games, just watch out for literally anyone with a double barrel they will ruin your day Would also like to see an attempt at ironman mode as it kinda forces you to play completely different
Dude if you are gonna play the original trilogy you will be in a world of hurt playing the first of the series I would be happy myself you playing those the first game has so many ways to cheat its astounding.
SoC is not so bad, Clear Sky's endgame gauntlet if excruciating though. I kept chucking broken gear and looting half broken gear just to progress, because.....I don't remember, you can't return to repair or returning to repair stuff is just way worse, because you have to run the hospital gauntlet again? Honestly, it's been a while, lol
Finished the OG games about a month or two ago and they have become one of my favourite series. Definitely get the reclamation project mods to iron out some bugs. Cant wait for you to experience the absolute dog shit ending section of all 3 games xd
if u want to play og games i would recomend playing call of prypiat with misery mod 2.1 its basiclly same as gamma in terms of gameplay and feauters but leaves stock storyline and dont add new locations, but all that was before stalker anomaly was a thing, its was precursor of anomaly + gamma.
@Qloud If you are going to play the original stalker games I would start with Clear Sky as it is intended as a prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl and it is a fairly short game. I would then play Shadow of Chernobyl. I would then play Call of Pripyat and yes you will probably want to mod all three games. Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat may not be so bad but Shadow of Chernobyl is pretty old and does show it's age. Entirely up to you though if you want to mod them.
Would love to see you play the original games. Though I personally had to mod them a bit as they haven't aged well in some aspects. Story is still fantastic though.
Gonna steal the top comment so Q sees this: regarding the technician at Skadovsk - he's a protege of Kardan, the dude who's got lots of screentime in original Call of Pripyat. would recommend ABR for clear sky
Watch all your vids and you keep me super entertained man. I come home after work and stream the vid to my tv and kick back on the couch.
That’s so awesome man thank you so much 🙏

Original trilogy goes hard. Clear sky is a pain in the ass tho, you have to do all the sidequests and buy all the stashes to really enjoy that one
I'm enjoying your content a lot! Keep it up! Would love to see you original games too!

A big Yes for the 3 OG games !!

There is but it only works right if the Melter is in your main inventory for some reason, I just ticked the box where empty lead boxes protect you and I have like 20 I put in my inventory before big melting sessions
Tip: it is worth disassembling anything with upgrades on it as there is a chance you will get an upgrade kit from it.
Fuck yeah man, you playing the OG trilogy would rock 🪨🪨
Would love to watch you play anything as this point tho lol, Can't wait till stalker 2 come out.
man i would love a series revisiting the OG trilogy. it'll be a bit jarring after playing GAMMA, but that saga is so good.
what you said about the zone getting more dangerous as you gain reputation has to be true. i can't go to garbage without there being a chimera there, and controllers in cordon are extremely common now.
just subbed and would love to see u play the og games.
holy shit we at 6k, i didn't even realize. banger vid as always, cant wait for the next one.
lol im all the way up in pripyat outskirts and didnt know i could shoot those apparitions they cast towards you.. i just assumed you had to tank psych hit ahaha
Its great
I would watch you play the original ones. Sounds like a fun time.
i played the original games back in the day when they were current. they were very buggy, especially the first one. it took a couple of patches, but other than that i only remember good things and having a blast. it would be a nice trip down memory lane to see you playing them, for sure. but id also like to see some more gamma content from you first. maybe ride the gamma wave a lil longer while its still going strong.
There is a nice upgrade kit for your ak 12 monolith. It has 4x acog scope, laser pointer and 60-round mag. Also you can attach ubgl to that ak after upgrade.
I would binge you playing the original games im not gonna lie.
OG game series would be fun, but i'd recommend some QoL / graphics mods. they are also way easier imo.
another banger as always
Watching you play the stalker trilogy would be sick, lets do it!
Hey, it would be awesome to see you play original trilogy. You'll get some story background, good thing to do before stalker 2 comes out. Just remember one thing - you'll get shredded by cordon boss in clear sky.
Wish Anomaly had a mod like the one in Fallout 4 where you can shove your companion out your way and watch them ragdoll lol
Oh I would have too much fun with that 😂
Thank you for the video
Really great video!
companions are great to give the ai someone else to shoot at
Sell your inferior parts to mechanics, they will buy them depending of their quality and lighten your stash weight while your at it.
Those mods all update the games to feel a hell of a lot better, but keep the Vanilla story, highly recommend as I just replayed through them with these mods myself.
dead autumn zone is ugly zone imo I did play AA though, it's not bad but ugly and it sucks that it's missing the blowouts
Original games would be great to watch, been looking for a good walk thru of them already, and if my fav youruber made one well cmon i doesn’t get better!
Im in for the original series, i cant finde a good yotuber for that but you are great so I hope u can do it
9:38 the longer you stay in the zone the harder it will gets each week
Would love to see you do the original games, just watch out for literally anyone with a double barrel they will ruin your day
Would also like to see an attempt at ironman mode as it kinda forces you to play completely different
would you mind not upload at midnight, maybe turn it down like 2 hrs? im going to watch this now when im sposed to be asleep
I’m sorry😂, it’s 4pm where I’m at, I could maybe move it back around noon if that’s when most of my viewers are active
@@Qloud7 thanks man :) i much appreciate it!
series would be cool
The ak you have is so clean imma need to find one in my playthrough
Yessir
Love this video!
can you do the Night Terror quest in the swamp from Cold? one of my memorable quest there :)
Honestly, it's been a while, lol
would love to see you do a series on it nah but yeah i would mod it make it look way better
What kind of mods do you use? Your game looks and sounds much better than the version of GAMMA I am playing
Finished the OG games about a month or two ago and they have become one of my favourite series. Definitely get the reclamation project mods to iron out some bugs. Cant wait for you to experience the absolute dog shit ending section of all 3 games xd
man, playing the original games is a great idea.
Early for the video this time😎
Mmmmm Qloud stalker video 🤤
finally new vid
if u want to play og games i would recomend playing call of prypiat with misery mod 2.1 its basiclly same as gamma in terms of gameplay and feauters but leaves stock storyline and dont add new locations, but all that was before stalker anomaly was a thing, its was precursor of anomaly + gamma.
when i did the clear sky kill the bandits quest there were like 10-15 bandits. wonder what factors in to how many show up
I'd watch a modded playthrough of the original trilogy :)
*shadow of chernobyl complete mod it just fixes stuff and lil graphic update doesnt change it like gamma would*
Love the Mp7
I skipped first main mission and helped cold right away and I’m getting wrecked horribly
This video, some lotion and me in the bedroom
You should just play lost alpha or OGSR:GA for a more advanced shadow of chernobyl experience while still being able to do the whole story
Awesome vids as usual :). Can anyone tell me what short cut is used for quick looting?
