I think that mutants tankiness and torso are intentional ,humans wear body armor and limbs won't kill you , and mutants are scary boss like encounters and they are hardened by the zone the rest of the mod is interesting though
8:28 I will say zombies TANK grenades, which actually makes kiiinda sense. Unless they get shrapnel to the head, they’re still gunna live. I’ve run into that issue where I had a hallway full of zombies and thought it was a perfect opportunity… chucked it, esploded, they all fell down, they all got back up.
Hey Qloud, love your vids and streams man. Just wanted to let you know that a mutant loot mod has been released. Havent tried it yet but, plan on it today. Also, there is a ledge grab mod out as well but i think it already comes with the melee/jump stam fixes. Anyway, thanks again!
there’s a few things in great swamp that are nice but annoying to get, there’s an easter egg on one of the islands at the top rightish of the area that is a reference to harry potter, and a little further past that is a high capacity mag for the vss i believe. but you get to sludge through the water forever cause it slows you down so much. there’s also an armor upgrade on the other side of the swamps a bit lower that kinda makes you do the same thing.
also, when i fought the chimera i was on stalker difficulty, tried fighting it normally and had 0 chance. kept knocking me down and hitting me after, took it to the house and shot it from inside and it took 100 5.56 rounds and 10ish buckshot to the face before it died. before dying to the emission, the game forces you to run to the objective and leaves you no other choice really
About the Chimera, I faced it in vanilla and once i got into the shack and cheesed it, it literally took more than 30 buckshot to kill it was ridiculous
Guess I would've added "Grok's" difficulty level If I were GSC (bit, I'm obviously not): it would be a nice appreciation for a man, who did put so much effort in keeping interest to the title and simultaneously make a big chunk of their players, who already know the game, so much happier. Also, I think people are underestimating the speed and quantity of new mod appearances: the game already has nice tools for modding and the game sold more that 1 mln times! I personally only got through the prologue though - I wanna take a vacation to play the game too!)
iv clocked 60 hours with no performance issues or issues in general other than A.I. The base game is brilliant. Going to get even better when the A.I finally gets fixed and Modpacks start showing up. Not been watching the vids till after i finish my playthrough. But, Not going to spoil, But i think you will enjoy the story as it goes on.
The mods are an improvement. Despite all the bugs and missing A-life, I’m just happy that the devs released the game. At least now there’s a pretty solid game for modders to continue to improve and evolve even if the devs never make good on their promises (which hopefully they will)
qloud there is currently a mutant loot mod on nexus its pretty good just wish there was a merchant to sell the stuff to. It seems like there was supposed to be one in rostok, but it was never added.
There is a mod where mutants have drops. Also there is a mod called more side weapons where you can have boomsticks and subs in your pistol slot, this mod in incompatible with getting rid of skid’s pistol so I recommend put skiffs pistol in storage uninstall skif mod then install more side weapons.
You can actually be hit by the lightning strikes. They arent just visual. I was yesterday and threw my controller cuz it scared the shit outta me lmao. Also there is a mod to loot mutants. It came out on the 27th. Its called Mutant Loot

My setup is definitely not optimized yet. i7 14700k, 4080 Super, 48gb ddr5, installed on an m.2. Was wondering if my i7 was the cause, but I’ve seen people with 9th gen CPUs run it with less stutters. Thermals are well within safe. I think I may just have to wait.
Dude, I fought that Chimeara vanilla and tried for about 12 deaths, then cheesed him by making him follow me to the hut and he can get locked into standing by the door. Took 385 headshots from an ak74 to kill him...... So so so stupid. Broke the immersion for me.
I just played this part today and yeah there was an emission for me too I think it's scripted. people are saying that after a certain main mission there are some huge bugs that make the game unplayable and you simply can not progress in the story. Make sure to have some hard saves just in case. I hope the patch fixes that.
I am baffled that people call this a hardcore survival game when the only difficult aspect is the tankiness of enemies, and even so early in the game you have 30+ medkits, 50+ bandages, plenty of additional meds and heaps of food
Hearing Kalancha mispronouncing so many words in his audio logs (psi rhymes with sky, not sea) is kinda distracting. Seeing the Clear Sky base looking like that is depressing...
Hey man you might wanna stop the main story for a bit until the patch, pretty high chance really important side content is going to be completely bugged after the halfway mark
It’s sad seeing Clear Sky empty and knowing that most members either died or were turned into monalithians there are a phew that stayed and joined scar being all woke and stuff
Modular hard mode feels better than groks difficulty mod imo. Alot more thought out as grok dislikes stalker 2 and takes every chance he has to degrade it
just to warn you you are at the point where the story quests are broken, its a shame the scam the devs have pulled on us, this is cyberpunk all over again. once you get the quest to go to sirca dont start it or else you will mess up your whole playthrough, wait until they update it.
@@exanyt thats not true, most people who have gotten to that point are having the same issue where they cant bring the scientist on wild island his quest item and cant defend zalissya from the attack causing both missions to be failed. if you didnt have that issue you're very lucky and in the minority, but saying only some people are having this issue is disingenuous. only some people ARENT having this issue.
@@exanyt by the way ive also come across atleast 3 side missions besides the zalissya defense one that are also broken, this game is a hot mess. forresters mission doesnt work, the mission at the ward base doesnt work, and the 2nd malachite mission doesnt work, this whole game is filled with broken quests you just havent found them yet.

Roadside panic is a mod that restores some capabilities of A-life, but the performance seems questionable/lower than vanilla.

It's a hit or miss, for me I had no real issues, others had no real issues...and then there are some who got softlocked.
I’ve only had side quests being broken but I admit I hate playing a side quest for 3 hours just for the final obj to break
