DEERC 9201E 21T 540 Brushed Motor Upgrade

The DeeRC 9201E is a very durable budget friendly rc shourt course truck! With that being said, this basher is a little slow. Im trying to upgrade the stock motor with a 540 can 21T motor to make it a little quicker.

Some suggestions and recommendations. You don't have to grease the pinion and spur. Grease is only needed on metal to metal gears. Another good motor replacement for this would be the Dynamite 20T or 15T brushed motor. They are very similar to the silver cans you get with Tamiya kits.

Thank you for the advice, always appreciate it! I’m actually having issues with it running so idk if the motor is bad or it might be the pinion because the mesh seems a bit tight

@@BargainBashersRc Your welcome. Try using a pinion with one less tooth. If the pinion is a 25 try a 24.
