Take out the wobbles, take out the 8k/improve the 4k/add 6k, add global shutter, add waveforms, keep custom modes, add AWB reference color temp and tint shift, and finally IMPROVE THE HEVC/H.265 CODEC - holy smokes it's so freaking bad.
hi thank alot for your gear tips. By the way i am so confused with what the right camera to get. i use for my art canon 750 and it's pretty good i gueass only for up close. but for shooting videos when i am standing little further away it doesn't have a good quality. What do u recomend for interrior shooting? like if i want to film my studio?
Improvement in dynamic range for video, optimized IBIS system that doesn’t cause wobbles, unlimited video recording, better heat management, focus breathing compensation, over sampled 4k 60, dedicated photo / video switch like on r6 II, better resolution evf, standard hdmi port, new hotshoe like in r5c, r3, r6 II.
I had the 5D Mark IV and yes, the ability to shoot mRaw and sRaw was FANTASTIC and I don't know why Canon didn't continue this with the R5. As for not being able to shoot 4K 120 with the SD card, it seems odd because there are many cams out there (like the Sonys (ZV-E1) that can shoot 4K 120 to SD cards.
About two of your wishes - for audio, the canon R5C (and R3) both have digital audio connections in the hot shoe and Tascam makes the CA-XLR2d-C XLR microphone adapter which makes use of it. It ships with an analog "foot", which might work with the regular R5 (I'll try that out in a few days and let you know). About stabilisation (stabilization for us in the lower 48) - as an example, the Lumix S1H does allow you to use lens-only mode through a menu option. My wish would be to have an R5Cii with whatever improved sensor they'll put in the R5ii, but also allow IBIS.
About smaller "Raw" images - my understanding (and it may be flawed) is that raw photos and video record the information coming directly from the sensor. In the case of raw video it's doing some compression of the red, green, and blue sensors as separate groups, so it isn't truly the raw data from the sensor (which otherwise would generate much larger files). The R5 does support CRAW , in which compression is applied to the raw image, giving you smaller files; but if you're wanted subsampling to get 24megapix raw files, you'd likely be loosing some sharpness.
I'd love Canon to remake the AE-1 but with the R sensor fitted. I'd like full manual controls including the shutter reset lever/ advance reel lever. Epson did this with their R-D1. Today's cameras are lovely, but I'd like to slow down a bit.
Why would you ask that question..?? Of what significance is it to his opinion..??? You either agree or disagree and give your reasoning behind your decision….
There's only two things Canon has to add to the mark 2 to get me to switch from my version 1 and its the tilt flip screen from the Sony A7R5 AND Dual CF B slots. If they fail to add this they've failed to sway me. Megapixels are Fine AF is already amazing Video Record time limit, i've been fine for 10 plus years so far without it 8k 120, who cares 4k 120 is fine enough plus no one really uses 8k the file sizes are just to big and 4k is fust fine. Overheating? Fixed with the lateset firmware BSI sensor? yea maybe I WANT THAT SCREEN! I WANT DUAL CF B SLOTS! This is a Pro camera give us dual cf slot's c'mon!
I want 13+ stops of DR, 4k60HQ, 10 bit WideDR, FHDHQ, false Color & Better WB. Basically everything the R5c has which obviously is already in the R5 but locked. SMH
Add ProRes HQ, ProRes 4444 for 8K also OpenGate 8K, Unlimited Record Times, Should Be 60 MP+, Longer Battery Times, External Recording to SSD like Blackmagic.
Besides the unlimited recording I don’t imagine any of those other features being added especially since they’re not in the r5c or c70 which are video centric.
What camera you use to film this in forest? Auto focus looks really really bad.

Hi Anthony, please make video R5 vs R6 mark II v/s Eos R. Which one is best & why.
I bought R5 yesterday, and my kase filters set has just arrived. Can't wait to take a shoot!
Hi Anthony, very nice vid. I hope that forthcoming R5 M2 would have a sort of Pre-Capture feature as in Nikon Z9-8 and Fuji X-H2S. What do you think?
Can someone tell me what’s the best full frame canon camera for photography? I’m also a beginner.
Micro sd best recomanded?
unlimited record time and better heat managment is what I'm looking for. Thanks for the video!
Those features are pretty much guaranteed

Anthony, have a Canon R and want to upgrade to the R5 - would you recommend to wait for R5 Mark 2 release? Do you think Mark 2 is close?

It just comes down to the video bitrate, it's simply too high to write to SD cards 🥺🙉

hey what cam do u use for this video?
I Think that 240fps would be Nice to see
Hi I am John I wanted to ask which light and camera gear do u recommend for me I want to start a TH-cam channel I want a camera under $500

That's my understanding too, but then the 5S had a smaller RAW file, so who knows...

From Which university you complete your diploma/course of photography...??m

was thinking the exact same, i hate having to use the sd card instead of dual cf express...
A watch in my bag video :)
Stacked Sensor, 16-18 stops of Dynamic Range, dual CFB or A cards
Will have to wait next year and see
I have a feeling the announcement might come this year. That's just my gut though!
@@AnthonyGugliotta that or you have one in your hands already. #NDA
That said, WHEN Canon will release the MK II ???
The ridiculous mini hdmi port!!! Please for the love of god!!!
Bro… you just described the canon r5C! Minus 1080p240. Lol
Medium Format 100MP -150MP only please!
Wait 3 italians in a row?!? They speak english really well, at least it seems even though I also am italian.
Unfortunately I am not a native Italian speaker. English is my first language!
@@AnthonyGugliotta It looks like you know italian well enough though.
If they give us micro HDMI port I'm gonna punch someone!!!😂😂😂
Shorts and tennis shoes? You guy's need to update your gear. lol
Doesn't the R5 shoot video in compressed format? 4K HQ is compressed 8K?
The ibis wobbles on the canon sucks 😮
I don't feel it's as bad as people make it out to be

focus breathing and hunting was giving me a headache on this video

@@MrMolotov69 We all know Canon would never all these aforementioned features... Canon doesn't have the balls to do it.. 😅
