Y'all celtics have won many championships, and it was a tremendous accomplishment for the Celts to make it to the finals. they are a great young team and it took a heroic effort from steph to win the series, because Boston had the better overall team in my opinion. The difference was the experience of The warriors top 3 Green, Thompson, and Curry chemistry and expereince + a legite top 10 all time player in Steph curry. Larry Bird has always been my favorite and was a tremendous all around player, but steph being much smaller has revolutionized the NBA so players like Trae Young can have an impact. Stephs scoring ability may be slightly better than Bird's because of his ability to dribble drive, create his own shop and shoot consistently deep 3's to open up the defense. Bird however was a better overall player in terms of passing, rebounding, defense and of course his spectacular offensive game. Bird and Curry both have an incredible clutch gene to deliver when the game is on the line.

I really can't help but think it is because he is underarmour and NBA is nike so yeah they don't want competition. It is so mind boggling you think of conspiracies like this!
I think whatever breeds inspiration also breeds hate at the same rate. He lives a life a lot of people wish they could’ve. Envy is also a helluva drug😤
Yup. Happens to the best of them. And personally, i think that what makes them great or greater than who they are as players. Regardless of the hate they get, they always prove people wrong. Whether it be steph, lebron, KD just to name current players.
Steeph is great. Humble and silent. Unlike Bron or many others always loud and annoying. He is loyal to the warriors and setting a great example. It is nice to see. Love he got the 4th ring in a shorter amount of time than Bron.
I didn't listen to the full interview, but also the injuries that Steph, Klay and Draymond all had since the last time they won a championship, the pandemic with its fears and uncertainties and shortened season, the endless criticism, going to the worst in the league and predictions of the Warrior's probably future failures had to add up to so much negativity and dismissal of the Warrior's recent accomplishments that for Steph it all came out in a burst of enormous relief and recognition of how hard they all worked to go from worst to first. He was showing everyone how deeply he cares and that he once again managed to overcome the negativity that has dogged him due to his size.
What Steph and the Warriors have achieved is amazing in the recent times. Since the Kobe and Shaq’s three peat Steph didn’t chase rings and stuck with the team through tough times The team also did an amazing job nurturing and building team around him Kerr did a great job during all this time and got back to the top again They are like the new version of Spurs but changed basketball forever!
Living in Philly. Man I just love the Warriors( they are originally from here). I love Dray as a player, and now even more as a podcaster. Think Dray is a hall of famer. His leadership, all around skills on the court gets him in. And he could get more championships.
It’s funny…. I mean I’m no one special. I’m not a sports enthusiast. BUT, I am a Golden State Warrior Fan whether we’re winning, or loosing. That will never change. Everything Draymond said he was feeling in Games 3 and 4 of the Finals, I could see it. I appreciate his honesty. Also, the brotherhood on that team is one of a kind. It’s hard to replicate! DUB NATION 4 LIFE!💙💛
glad steph got his his finals mvp. didnt have them winning this thought they were outmatched but Bos clammed up. hopefully folks stop shitting on folks legacy
...and here I am thinking KD who?! I literally forgot, that was a whole other team... this team right here! The trust and confidence and skill that goes on with this team is something to behold. FANTASTIC!!
It was pretty obvious what the emotions were about. Not being respected for not being finals mvp for the previous 3. Being injured or having your best teammate injured for more than a season. Regrouping and having that team oriented culture post-KD era again. Proving the haters wrong by beating a perfectly healthy and respectable team like the Celtics to win the title.
Great seeing draymond this candid and open, and its only possible cos jj let him speak for 5 minutes straight uninterrupted. You dont see that from the rest of the media
Watched Steph since the Ws drafted him and he was getting benched in the 4th quarter by Keith Smart. Dude has universal 100% approval rating in the Bay Area.
@@NothingElseMattersJM Skill wise, KD has more talent. Steph works better in a team concept. Want to win in Rucker Park, pick KD. Want to win titles, pick Steph. (The on / off numbers during their run prove this.)
draymond is always the enforcer , he’s steph’s bodyguard on that team. so steph coming to save in in such a crucial moment was big . steph’s the goat 💪🏼
You know Dray was right that Curry was not feeling bad when KD was in the Warriors.. He accepted the fact that he was second best player after KD. And I saw a lot of respect that Curry had to KD..and the brotherhood that both KD and Curry was respect that two best players have that they appreciate each other and they are both unselfish on the court. And in reality there are people leave their friends or family if someone or people in the family bother you a lot even you really cared other members you have to leave as final decision and what happened to Curry he's emotions like NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE WE CAN FIX EVERYTHING, WE CAN DO IT RIGHT, WE ALREADY STABLISHED THINGS, WE ALREADY GOOD FRIENDS. and that time KD was hurt and Curry dont want KD in that condition because he really cared KD as his friend.
I don’t think Draymond was really a part of the reason for the emotion other than it being the same group that did it. I see it as this core and a similar culture and energy won the title in 2015 and had the best regular season ever in 2016 but couldn’t finish it. They brought in KD and no one could stop them healthy. Not in 7 games until KD left. Once KD left they felt bare again. A previously elite core that spent 2 years banged up now having to climb through the new, younger contenders. Overcome new challenges including CoVid protocols and other supremely talented players in Giannis and Luka and Jokic and Ja and those Suns that weren’t in the way before. But with nothing added over the top they built the team they wanted. They fostered the electric culture they birthed in Oracle arena years ago and when the clock got low in game 6 - Steph was reminiscing on the past 8 years; this one was hardest AND the most deserved. They delivered. He delivered. His way. What can they say now?
Anyone that think Warriors weren’t gonna win w o KD anyway tripping. Anyone that thinks the NBA DIDNT ROB THEM back in 16 also tripping. Real ones remember them hyping Lebron and protecting Jordan’s legacy strategically suspending Green when they needed him in crucial game 5.
Yeah I remember. I watched "Every" game of that series in "full". Not youtube highlights. The full games are still on youtube if people doubt what you're saying. Warriors should've won that series. No way NBA organization was going to let Lebron lose 4 straight NBA finals
It’s funny how the dubs made KD a better player, and how the Nets made him into a worse player than when he was in OKC. An NBA player should be rated on the impact he brings to the team and not just his skills, KI is a skillful baller but ain’t no team in the league wants to deal with his bs nonsense.
1:48 - and this is exactly why one of the main arguments against the 2020 NBA championship is that it was essentially a glorified scrimmage, it’s a completely different world to play within a stadium full of fans and pressure + heckling, versus an entirely empty arena (that isn’t even to mention the no travel aspect, no HCA and hell, there were even some players doing drugs iirc)
I don’t like the idea of completely discrediting it because all the teams there had the same opportunity but that being said, with the pandemic and social outrage of the time many of the players that were there didn’t want to be and didn’t treat it with the respect of a normal playoff. Add into the fact that it was basically a brand new season with just a handful of games and there was no grind to what would have been a normal season. To me it can never really hold the weight of a typical season.
A friend who's a long time LeFraud stan was really bitter that the dubs won another title.. He literally said he can't watch any of the replays/clips because he feels so bad (he didn't watched the finals because he had no interest who wins). He also picked all of the dubs opponents to beat them. I think most LeFraud stans are like him. 🤣🤣
HEY! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF Some days are more difficult than others. If today is one of them, remind yourself to just breathe. You can pick up your fight again tomorrow.🤞🏽❤️🔥
It’s funny how people compare Warriors fan base to Bostons. They aren’t even close. I get that some Warriors fans are over-enthusiastic about Stephs greatness but our crowd only “Boos” players that deserve it like Memphis’ Dillon Brooks. Yea, that emotion he is talking about curry showing in game 4. I remember watching hit that second 3 in the 1Q, forced Celtics to call a time out. He had that look and emotion that I’ve rarely if ever seen out of him. Almost as if he was angry. I said to my boy it’s over.
That was IN BOSTON. He was pissed off in the 1Q you knew he was locked in.
He got that warriors vs okc vibe, you already know he's gonna cook 'em boys alive
They said he benefited from the opposing team's injuries
They said he could never show up in the biggest moments
They said he needed a super team
They said he will never get a Finals MVP
They said he can't lead a team by himself
All that build-up led to proving everyone wrong winning ring number 4.
👑🐐
@Tyler Holt Like when LeFraud benefited when the league rigged the game in his favor?
@Tyler Holt : Do YOU really spend your time trying to hate on an obvious legend??? Release YOUR hate, move on, and try to enjoy your life better without that still hanging over your head. 🙄😳🤡🤡
He proved me wrong
There is no explanation needed he deserves it. All everybody sees is the three pointers when they look at him they don't look at the hard work. Steph deserves it and it's tears of accomplishment 👏.
JJ is the best is the best, man..
beyond fair in assessment, incredibly intelligent, seeks truth and has an ability to see truth in others
so much respect for what he does

I love dray so much as a warriors fan heart and soul of dub nation
4:06 Yeah, i NEVER understood why, no matter how much he accomplished people would find some way to try diminish him or hate him, and it was mindboggling.
@@Mrjjoseph1997 generally I see the hate bred from crazy Lebron fans or fans of other players such as Harden
Because he always choked in the Finals. Up until now.
Mentally, he lacked the mindset on the biggest stage.
Draymond really getting better and better at this media thing 👏
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
Steeph is great. Humble and silent. Unlike Bron or many others always loud and annoying. He is loyal to the warriors and setting a great example. It is nice to see. Love he got the 4th ring in a shorter amount of time than Bron.
Curry already solidified his status even before Durant went to the Warriors.
Lol exactly 💯 🤣 dray doesn't always remember everything correctly
Curry , dre and Thompson are the core ...but the support team can't be me missed out.
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
Draymond keeping it real, salute to the real ones.💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 congrats was steph
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
What Steph and the Warriors have achieved is amazing in the recent times. Since the Kobe and Shaq’s three peat
Steph didn’t chase rings and stuck with the team through tough times
The team also did an amazing job nurturing and building team around him
Kerr did a great job during all this time and got back to the top again
They are like the new version of Spurs but changed basketball forever!
Living in Philly. Man I just love the Warriors( they are originally from here).
I love Dray as a player, and now even more as a podcaster.
Think Dray is a hall of famer. His leadership, all around skills on the court gets him in. And he could get more championships.
Drays a smart dude like him in media
FANTASTIC!!
Lol yeah the warriors won championships before and after KD. KD hasn’t won anything without the warriors though. People seem to forget that
Draymond saying warriors invitational was the coldest flex
Draymond is real easy to listen to and is hella relatable

Best podcast! Love hearing our hero’s speak candidly
Dray and JJ the new GOATS of media in our generation. The new Chuck and EJ
Thank you so much for this content JJ , makes my days so much better

JJ Ive been subscribed for awhile now, keep up the EXCELLENT job you do!!
"They say steph and klay carried me to the championship , great thanks I got 4 of em "😂😂 Gmfu dray like facts!!!
He’s going to win #5 and #6. I’m going to be in Chase Center.
This is great content lol, we need way more of this
It was pretty obvious what the emotions were about.
He’s a beast… just not better than KD lol
@@NothingElseMattersJM Skill wise, KD has more talent. Steph works better in a team concept. Want to win in Rucker Park, pick KD. Want to win titles, pick Steph.
(The on / off numbers during their run prove this.)

Kd was so wrapped up in himself he never considered what Steph was feeling, bro I gave u my team and you when and dip like nothing
draymond is always the enforcer , he’s steph’s bodyguard on that team. so steph coming to save in in such a crucial moment was big . steph’s the goat 💪🏼
Say what you want about Draymond but there's clearly times when he keeps it an absolute buck when he has very little reason to. Respect!
If you don't recognize Steph as one of the greats by now, you are analyzing something else. Not basketball.
Amazing content guys👏
4:50 this is one of the most important reasons WHY GSW not in the talks to trade for KD
Draymond a great teammate.
What a story from Draymond!
I mean the dude has only 2 more championships before he is considered the greatest ever and I think he will do it
Damn I didn’t know JJ Redick had this many subscribers on TH-cam
Steph deserved that FMVP 👏👏👏their friendship tho' 😭
Knew before he spoke that draymond would make it about him
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
I am so happy for the warriors.
God is with Steph I know it for sure!
KD really be leaving his teammates
It’s funny how the dubs made KD a better player, and how the Nets made him into a worse player than when he was in OKC. An NBA player should be rated on the impact he brings to the team and not just his skills, KI is a skillful baller but ain’t no team in the league wants to deal with his bs nonsense.
In my opinion this should've been Steph Curry's 3rd FMVP
After game 3, the Celtics and their fans celebrated like they won the 🏆. Little did they know they were going to lose the next 3 games. 😭🤣🤣😂
😂😂
I had a Feeling he was rattled around that time & to see him admit that Is awesome. Even better how he shut them up in game 6 😶
dang this is an awesome show
I like draymond. That’s the take. Thank you guys
Top 10 player of ALL TIME
Draymond has a great future in broadcasting.
I remember after loosing in elementary my whole team was crying about loosing a kickball game
I agree with Draymond, that Steph was protecting him.

How does this question turn into Draymond making it about himself to start off 😂
Draymond green is my all time favorite warrior.
Considering this Boston, I don't doubt draymon was called the n word
Definitely some hard R's out in the crowd there. They treat the players like zoo animals.
@@ericchen9317 this is a pretty common thing with pro sports in general, NBA isnt nearly as bad the NFL tho
It’s funny how people compare Warriors fan base to Bostons. They aren’t even close. I get that some Warriors fans are over-enthusiastic about Stephs greatness but our crowd only “Boos” players that deserve it like Memphis’ Dillon Brooks. We don’t yell obscenities like “F*** Brooks!” We have more class than that. Boston is by far the worst.
Listening to this, I just became a fan of Draymond Green.
Media has always known its a partnership, its the players that tend to forget that.
