Ayesha fans have concocted the myth they were childhood sweethearts because Ayesha mentions in every interview they met when they were teenagers. She wasn't allowed to date at that time but clearly she wants to perpetuate the myth as well.
They were not close friends. Steph was at CharlotteChristian. Ayesha went to Weddinggton High. Church was where they interacted.
She began dating him in July/August 2008 when he was a Davidson College basketball star and NBA prospect.

@@pranith850 Just saw this comment! I'm 100% correct about this. One example is in 2018 their foundation held a friendly soccer game event. Ayesh was ruthless and kept kicking Steph's ankles over and over. We all know Steph's history with his injuries but she didn't care at all.
All these years she's been complaining about her NBA wife status and never occurred to her no one knew she existed before and now thanks to Steph she receives business opportunities. She wasn't even on the culinary path.

All jokes aside, if I ever decide to get married, I hope I'm blessed to have a relationship like Steph and Ayesha, they seem to know everything about each other and care a lot. Wishing nothing but success for the both of them 👌🏾
You can see all 10 tattoos on Steph's body. For Ayesha he's got her name tattooed on his torso and "A" on his ring finger. Ayesha doesn't have "S" on her ring finger or his name visibly elsewhere.
