Given the incredible textures seen so far, I'm surprised to see the concrete sidewalks and streets of the Wizarding World area looking like plain concrete, no cobblestones or paver stones as I'd expect to see in Paris, even in modern day let alone the 1920s. Hopefully there's more texture to come. Similarly, I'm surprised not to see cobblestone details in Darkmoor, like borders around buildings and strips across and down centers of walkways to break up the concrete. Still hoping.
At least a year worth of work left to do ... I think the opening might be next year around October 2025; this would be perfect timing to give Dark Universe a Halloween vibe and with the coming Holiday's everything just falls in place.
I am baffled as to what the green foam terraces are at the pond by the Constellation Carousel is. I went back and watched Universal's fly-through and sure enough, they are green terraces. They can't be left as painted foam, right?! Is is something that a foliage is grown on top of? Does anyone from the landscaping world know anything that could explain?
My guess is it is just background color and there will be a lot more detail/depth to it. As you said painted foam alone would stick out like a sore thumb with the amount of detail in every other part of the park.
@@adventuresaway I watched again and it is not being painted green, rather it is being wrapped in a green fabric -- perhaps a kind of Astroturf. You can see wrinkles, rolled back ends, and scraps from trimming on the ground. So, I'm wondering if this is a faux topiary look they are going for? I'm a little skeptical on this one, but fingers crossed!
Great update! Subbed. My new channel is currently focusing on ways to upgrade Universal's existing parks to this incredible standard being set by Epic, which is going to redefine theme park standards.
Super Nintendo world is getting there that the workers are continue to work of the epic universe at Orlando Florida 🇺🇸 that Super Nintendo world is like the one in universal studios Japan 🇯🇵 scene 2021. 💜
