      Thanks! I think that its the furst time I'm getting 27 sats so that's impressive.

    Thank you for your video! I noticed that only 3 systems in use: GPS, Galileo and BeiDou. Unlike to the description by HGLRC, no searches for GLONASS satellites. Also, in comparison to DJI mini 2 SE, total number of satellites is less by 5-10. My cell phone sees GLONASS via app. At 1:11 (list of searches) no GLONASS or other systems. It seems to me they juts limited list by 3 systems and also I guess the sensitivity of the module is less in comparison to standard module used in DJI (for example).

    Nice, looks like it is working well. just need it for GPS rescue and to get a general direction where to get home, just ordered 2 for me and one of my FPV friends!

    Looks great, ordered two. Great timing I am pretty new still, need this but didn't know quite what I was looking for, this should do it. Always great info thanks for the reviews 👍

    Nice review and demos.
    At 3:54, noticing the wires from the GPS are not shielded. Placing clear sticky tape on aluminum, or copper foil and the rolling into a tube will act as an RF shield. (ideally solider a ground-wire to the foil, but have found just covering most of length can make huge difference. Clear tape is to prevent accidentally shorting of any wires) FYI: Flywoo include sticky copper foil with, or sells as an option with it's GPS units. The DIY version seems to work just as well.

      Thanks. Sure I'm aware of it but I've just decidedto test it instead with the analog build (I tested it first with the digital one). Maybe I'll have another go with shielded wires 🍻

      The uart and poer are not antenna wires . They don't need shielding anymore than motor wires i bet . If you do not get a lock make suretx and rx are hooked up right .

    Hello Gal, this little gps is coming to me. Just one question: Are Galileo satellites available out of the box? Do they need to be enabled specifically?

    Wow, the satellite count on the cinewhoop was impressive. Do you think that shielding the wires on the walksnail micro would help since they're laying across the VTX board?

    Thanks for the review. I was wondering if you can help me out. I bought this gps and I can't get more than 5 satellites. I'm running betaflight 4.3. I have it all set up like you did. It's not interference from the vtx because I can power my gps from my phone on speedybee app. I tried everything I can think of. The drone is the darwin 129 with a f405. Any help I would greatly appreciate it. Keep up all the good work

      My pleasure! Try upgrading BF to the latest version and see if it helps. Make sure that the GPS antenna is facing upward and if nothing helps I recommend to adjust the GPS settings using Ucenter: oscarliang.com/gps-settings-u-center

    • @biggon1113

      For me vtx signal interfering was the problem. Check whether it gets any satellites without your vtx on.

    • @KremerFPV
      @KremerFPV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please let us know if it works when the VTX and RX are turned off.

    • @arQadjo
      @arQadjo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Isolated power for GPS unit. Solder TX and RX to FC but get a 5V regulator and ballance PH connector for your lipo. Power GPS from it and you will see big difference for fix time

    • @serang
      @serang ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me elrs 2.4 is always interfering GNSS.

    • @AerialWaviator
      @AerialWaviator ปีที่แล้ว +2

      See my 'tip' in another comment (posted above/below) for using aluminum, or copper foil to shield the wires from FC to the GPS, particularly if pass close to VTx, or other electronics. Positioning can help, 2-4 inches (4-8 cm, if available can make a major difference).
      To test, try doing so with a standalone FC (outside a build, no VTx, no Rx) to ensure the GPS itself can acquire sats quickly. Powering via 3.3V on FC will mean it will power on when USB is plugged-into the FC, so no extra work to plug-in a battery for testing. Once verified, you can then place the GPS next to, or on different areas of your drone build to see if/where the GPS gets interference.
