If she wanted to avoid being murdered she could have escaped which why I believe the manuscript.
I want to know why would she mess with Lo like that with the remote and the curtain and watching her and Jeremy and playing with the lock if she didn’t want to get figured out .
I’m team manuscript, if anyone were faced with a kayak tipping and suxh a dire situation, I don’t think you would direct “hold your breath” to one of your children. And it would have been more of a shrill scream
This book is amazing but as someone called Verity it made it that extra bit terrifying😳 but it is so clever in the sense that Verity means truth and you as the reader are trying to figure out what is true, especially at the end which I think makes it better and having her being called 'truth' as a character that is so twisted is such a clever idea!!
I finished it last week Lucille, really enjoyed it, didn’t see the twist coming at all! Really enjoyed it, it actually scared me a bit!
I never saw the twist coming either! It was so unexpected, but definitely left me with loads of questions! X
I believed the letter at the end and didn’t really consider that it could be a lie, the manuscript was so awful it’s hard to believe someone could be so evil. The baby choking bit I could barely listen too (mine was audiobook)
It was really difficult to read those parts! It was such a different book to any that I've ever read before! X
@@lucille6888 I’m reading it ends with us by Colleen hoover now. Id say it’s just as good as Verity if you’re looking for something else to read.
finally someone who believes the letter!! I was like 60-40 but after reading the bonus chapter I'm so sure letter is the truth!

Found the beginning to be slow paced. A good book. Not my favourite by Colleen hoover. Was confused by the twist at the end.

I’ve been getting back into reading lately and I’m loving it. I’ve got a list of books I’d like to read so I’ve asked my local library in the hopes that they will have them or they can order them in for me. I’d rather go to the library where possible, better than buying sometimes!

I used to go to a library, but it didn't have the best selection of books. But you've reminded me about libraries, so I think I'm gonna try out another one near me and hopefully it will have more books to choose from. It definitely is better than buying books ☺️x
Verity could have tried to appeal to Lowen after she realized she was reading the manuscript. I’m sure she could have convinced her it was just a writing exercise. She may have even been able to convince her to help her to escape. That’s why I don’t believe the letter.
