Naomi should understand that there is pressure for everyone in every sphere of life under the work space. Content creators are entrepreneurs and every entrepreneur strives hard to make it. That’s the fact. I totally understand the pressure and stress. It’s not secluded to just content creators. I think every youth in Nigeria trying to make it and achieve purpose is under this pressure

I agree with you. I feel Naomi should have been more empathetic or at least not discredit Nasboi's feeling because she cannot relate to it. Two people can be in the same situation but the way they experience it differs. One person's experience or feelings about that situation does not invalidate the other person's, and vice versa.

I struggle with Naomi’s perspective a lot. I don’t hear empathy from her. She seems set in her ways and not open to seeing other people’s perspective. Her presence provides diversity of views on the podcast but the absence of empathy rubs me the wrong way.

To Nasboi and all other content creators, please don’t be anxious about what you have no control over. Do what you can , pray and trust God. Seek out other form of opportunity and build it. Nothing last forever and nothing is permanent

Great episode. Nasboi is intelligent 💯. Naomi must understand that content creation, including skit-making, is a full-time job, and if you must make good money from it like every other full-time job, you need to be relevant and consistent. For you to be relevant, you need to be consistent, for you to be consistent, you can just do it on a side like a part-time job. Hence, the pressure that comes with it. And not everybody can just deal with the pressure the way you think they should deal with it.

I am an upcoming content creator. And even I feel the pressure at this stage. Depression is something I already talked about on my TH-cam channel, in like two videos @HelloMaryam
I make videos about mental health and living in your 20s. Such relatable content but I'm not able to get traction and views to my channel. It gets demoralizing.
This topic 'content creators & depression' is a topic I can relate to so well and have a lot to talk about.

There's pressure, it's natural and unavoidable, it's the way we handle the pressure that determines if we get to depression stage. It's really not easy, yes we do things for passion but we have to keep up to keep our fans as family. Well I'm proud of all of you, I learned a lot today. Please you guys should invite Samuel black ( he's one CEO I admire) and please talk about depression in business because CEOs are going to a lot. The depression is REAL.

This depression thing is everywhere oo 💔..
Even down to the tech and brand development industry too.
You see people giving gigs to "the bigger names/ companies" in the industry, and in most cases you know you can handle that job pretty well, but simply because you don't have a robust portfolio, you'll be sidelined...and these things leads to depression too.
Yes, as lucrative as the tech business is, it can be depressing sometimes.

    Amazing topics to talk about.
And Naomi needs to understand the pressure for skits makers. Ain’t no joke fr
And hopefully your next episode try and invite a skit maker who has not yet start making money .
Those are the real people facing depression. I can relate. Spending so much to create a content for a mins. I can’t begin to explain how depressed I am.
But the love and passion I have for what I do is the only reason I’m still trying to stay consistent and not give up. Sir with due respect y’all are making money in the industry already invite someone who has not. That person go fit talk well. Thank you 😊

Well in as much as I don't like to troll I think Naomi go learn to grow to see things from the wider and larger perception and perspective.. In terms of relevance I can tell you if not for frankly speaking a whole lot of people won't know jack about you and so to gain relevance you need to continually give value... There are people that are doing more and are not even gaining enough attention do you ask them to stop passion is a source of consistency and a pressure to do more... Nasboi big ups to you man and to all content creators you guys are fantastic, my only suggestion when you feel pressured or burning out is to allow some good distractions stay with loved ones, have a chilled time it helps a lot.. Don't worry no matter how little the value you give you'll always fine relevance and money flows in the direction of value, also don't forget anything that happens it happens cause God permits it.. Over & out ✌✌✌
