It should be noted that the 150a esc that comes stock has a slightly different menu of possible settings. It seems you are using your replacement 160a esc. If this was already mentioned, my apologies.

There's the "retail" ESC and there's the "Arrma" version that has less parameters. (Arrma version has cap packs) That's why the little booklet is wrong, so look in the Felony manual for the program table.

speed runs but so, so on the bashing, bit of a halfway house! I've owned one but wouldn't get another. Typhon V5 would be the one I'd go for with a head towards speed

Is this card really even necessary? It seems so easy to program esc by followering the Felony manual.
I did purchase one. Arrma Felony arrived before card did, programmed it manually and now thinking should I just return card? Its just too easy to program esc manually
Hey Rich! Quick question.... got my felony recently and if AVC is turned to 100% the car seems to lose control at high speeds and swerves back and forth. Any idea why this would happen? I turn back to 50% and no issues.
At 100% it's going to react the strongest in terms of countersteer if it goes sideways, I run mine at around 50% to 75% (if it's wet). I'd keep it at 50%, I'd say only go to 100% if in the rain/wet or on loose gravel where you may need maximum assistance if you're 'on it'

**Just a tip**
You can also use the much cheaper hobby wing LED program card. The card that comes with the hobby wing 1080 esc. Just like you could program the Arma BLX ESCs.

@@DriftomaniacsRCPlease keep in mind I am no TH-camr but this video is for you specifically I've even named you in it. 😁 If I remember correctly you are using the 160 amp ESC although I doubt that makes a difference However it works with the stock ESC no problem. Mine works, it's the super basic HW card that ONLY programs esc settings. It won't flash the esc or check lipos.
@@LiquidSSSnake correct it's the hobby wing program card that comes with the hobby wing ESC It's only $10 separately. And you're right That's all it does is program the ESC It doesn't do anything like check lipos. I figured I would just let him know or some people know because a lot of people have one of these cards laying around like I did I had 2
@@blindj Yep I had one in a bag. It also works on unbranded HW $10 knockoff ESCs. I'm starting to suspect everything is HW if not a Castle 😄
when i plug mine into my felony 6s blx it say please upgrade software idk how to update it
Download the spektrum startling app on your windows based computer, laptop or tablet. Took me a while to figure it out.
And it can be used to update the firmware also

Does it work for the V1
No the v1 is not a 'smart' esc so I don't think it will, I run twin XLX esc's on my infraction so I can't test it to see for you. That said if you search my youtube videos I've done one on how to program the infraction esc

Bought the spectrum programmer.as soon as I plug it in, It says software update.My laptop won't open the update. 30 bucks wasted.
I got one for my felony I have to do a software update!! I don't how to do it!
J Mac I think there's a video on the update on the spektrum site. You will need to connect it to your PC with the USB cable it comes with and download the software from the spektrum site
The Felony only comes with the 150amp esc, it has different parameters.
I do know that....however the 160A esc parameters were the ones I was working to in the manual from spektrum so I stand by what I say 100%. This car has the 160A esc as they sent me it as they were out of 150A ones....wonder why that was
